Over the years I have been to my share of casinos, and nowhere has the air felt so clear. They do have a designated non smoking section, but I don't notice the difference in the air quality when going from one place to the next. Live, their music and performance venue, is designed pretty well. Great acoustics and room to move around. If you want to sit, that can be more expensive, but I like to move when I go to concerts so I am happy with the layout. Great food venue offerings with diverse selection, and no bad executed attempts at being snooty that no one really wants anyway. And prices are very reasonable. It's like they realize they are making good money on the casino floor so they don't also need to gouge you with excessive pricing on food and drinks. Like they actually want you to come here. Speaking of the floor, it is very easy to navigate here between the machines and tables, even if you have mobility issues. Overall, I just feel like a lot of thought went in to how people move around and what makes for a good local casino experience. It's like they looked at everything other places are doing wrong and said "Well, people don't like that, let's not do that." I will say I have not stayed in the hotel part of the property yet. I am willing to bet they put the same amount of care and detail into the rooms as they have the rest of the place. At any rate, this is solid entertainment that is worth the extra drive. I will point out they don't have drink servers roaming the floor. Not saying that is a positive or a negative, just something to be aware of.

It was restaurant week, but only I ordered from the special menu. My friends opted for items of their regular menu. We did get there near the end of happy hour, and were able to take advantage of the 10 piece boneless wings for just $8. We could choose two flavors and went with buffalo and teriyaki. It was served with ba chunky Bleu cheese, ranch, and celery sticks. One person ordered their pulled pork Mac & cheese (Cavatappi pasta tossed with onions, jalapenos, and bacon bits in a creamy cheddar cheese sauce. Topped with balsamic glazed pork, fresh tomatoes, green onions, cheddar and parmesan cheese). I was told it was really good. Another went with the their taco salad with pulled pork (Your choice of spiced ground beef, smoked southwest marinated chicken, or pulled pork. Finished with fresh field greens, cheddar cheese and tomatoes. Served with tri-colored tortilla chips. Salsa & sour cream upon request). This one, my friend didn't care for the pulled pork. I ordered off the restaurant week menu and ordered the steak, medium-rare. (8oz top sirloin steak*, seasoned and fire broiled to your specifications. Served with white cheddar mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and garlic toast). Yes, it was a sirloin, but it was tender and cooked perfectly. The potatoes were a little on the salty side. I got the dessert (chocolate lava cake) to-go. It's definitely worth a visit, even if you're like us and not interested in the casino aspect.
