Crystal has a great way of positively explaining and teaching. I am now very comfortable that I will be able to enjoy going to a 500 person waltz event and dancing. I would highly recommend Follow my lead if you want to learn how to dance. We are planning on continuing our lessons even after the event we are going to and learning more dances besides the waltz.

We danced from eight till midnight to wonderful tango music. It was great for both beginners and the more experienced Argentine tango dancers. If you've never tried Argentine tango, you might want to check out Follow my lead studio where they have Tuesday night classes as well as private lessons, but, back to the event. There was wonderful music played throughout the evening and lots of fun visiting with friends and newcomers. The center was gorgeous with soft candle lighting around making it very romantic and beautiful. We also had a lovely snack table with special bread, oil and vinegar, delicious fancy chocolates, Dried fruit, special candies, and other yummy treats. And then to top It off, we had a professional performance of three incredible Argentine tango dances, right before our eyes. It was so stunning! And inspiring to a new dancer, such as myself. Again I can't emphasize how wonderful an evening this was whether you were just watching and visiting or actually dancing as I did. I can't wait for the next event! They started with the summer classes which by the way are a GREAT deal. You can try classes for a very low cost. Although they can be shy they immediately warmed up to the teacher and as a parent I just loved the studio. Now that we've been at Elite for about 7 months, I can't imagine my girls taking dance classes anywhere else. In fact, we've added another class and they want to take more. This is an authentic…read moredance studio with serious instructors, disciplined dancers and a healthy rapport amongst all dancers, parents, instructors and owner. The instructors are attentive to proper training and development to prevent injuries. In the 6+ years that I have been associated with this studio I have not seen any eating disorders or unhealthy practices. The performances are FULL productions at the beautiful Martin Woldston Fox theater. The Academy of Dance is also the home of the non-profit Spokane Youth Ballet. Dancers from the entire area are welcome to audition for the productions and performances at the FOX Theater. These productions are original choreography and never disappoint.
