We rented a scooter since one kid never skated before amd they failed to tell us that they were little tiny short ones, so that didn't work and we had to then do rollar blades with a white thing that cost 12 bucks not to mention the only tall one was broke so the kid had to use a little short one of those too which was painful to watch lol . . the rollar skate session of 5 hours turned into 4 hours with them closing an hour early since there was only a handful of people there ... which was probley why they were charging as much as possible for everything they could... even with buying arcade cards, food, drinks, toys from the concession booth just not worth going anymore, rollar valley used to be so much fun now it's all about money, not my kind of hangout anymore we used to feel welcomed, helped and happy here... just not the same happy vibe anymore as it used to be.

Some people mentioned problems getting right-sized skates, or the ice being lumpy... but we had no complaints. Skates were just fine and the ice was perfect. I had some difficulty with booking the igloo on the website and couldn't get anyone to respond via email, but I tried rebooking again until the transaction completed correctly. We rented the igloo on a Friday afternoon for 90 minutes and we had so much fun! The Zamboni machine ran exactly per the ice scrape schedule shown on their website, which gave us time to hang out inside our clean, cozy, and heated igloo. We are not avid skaters, might go once per year, but we appreciate the staff and hope to see more people enjoying the skate ribbon.

Fred Kelley took over ownership during my absence and all of the changes he has made has made this facility so beyond amazing! After 3 months of consistently showing up (3-4 days a week) my strength has exceeded what it was when I left and that's due to the new programming. My fitness level had drastically declined and I was nervous to return, but I was welcomed back with gusto and I have never felt more included and cared for.
