Let me start by saying that the Caesar was probably the best Caesar I have ever had. I live a few hours away and think about that salad often. My wife loved the sandwich and soup, as well. Sadly we were too full to eat any dessert but they have a rotating dessert list and while we were there the strawberry cake looked insanely good. So good that every single table around us ended up getting at least one slice. I was jealous... What makes this place extra special (aside from the incredible food), are all the little touches that they add to their plates. Little heart-shaped ice cubes with blueberries, heart-shaped butter, and a full leaf of lettuce below the salad. I know it might not sound like much but it really shows the attention to detail. And, to top it off, the staff were simply amazing. They were attentive, friendly and really nice to chat with. This will be a main stop anytime we are in town.

The homemade gluten free bread was delicious! You seriously can't find gluten free bread in the store that tastes amazing like this! I can't wait to come back for another sandwich! My daughter had a sub and hers was amazing as well! I've seen a few bad reviews regarding what time this place closes. That is not a legitimate reason to leave a bad review. If you want to eat here. Come during business hours. If they are closed, then they probably had a good reason.

This place is a gem amidst a sea of corporate chain sandwich shops. I was running errands around lunchtime and, feeling peckish, I thought about something to eat. Now I had many more errands, so road food was the order of the day. But how many burgers can you eat? There are even some pretty good independent burger joints, but sometimes, you just want a sandwich. Now, for context, our progeny ate a school lunch maybe a half dozen times, total, throughout their school years. Most of the time, I made lunch, and the centerpiece was the sandwich. Carefully selected meats, fresh veggies, a wide variety of sauces (they can't even eat a roast beef sandwich to this day without a bit of horseradish in there somewhere) were combined with excellent bread. That is what I wanted. That is what I got. The bread choices are white or brown, but that's because the emphasis is on the interiors. The Italiano, with pastrami, salami, and pepperoni, is a classic combination, with provolone, pepperoncini, and "all the fixins" (In response to whether or not I wanted "everything" I replied "Fuck me up, sandwich sensei!") because I firmly believe in allowing the restaurant to present you with their wares, and let you decide if you like them. Now, the-woman-who-lets-me-live-with-her (thanks Mike), cannot stand black olives, but in this sandwich, they provide such a tempering influence of slightly salty, slightly bitter counterpoint to the sweet bell peppers, that it would have been poorer without them. I thought I was only going to eat about half and then save the rest, but I just couldn't help myself. I ate the whole dang thing. The vibe is classic sandwich shop, there is someone at the end of the line freshly slicing more meats as needed while two people turn out submarine deliciousness for an anxious crowd. Do not miss this place, it is a gem.
