The boba has pretty good chew and have a somewhat sticky exterior from the sugar soak. They are kind of oblong in shape and not completely spherical. The pearls are a bit inconsistent in both size and exterior texture. Some are quite smooth on the outside, but others have mini crags running along the surface. In addition, they aren't the most uniform in size, with smaller pieces that seem to have split off. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 & Tea is pretty good. Ahtanum Bakery is adjacent to their berry patch in Yakima. Because of the climate, they harvest strawberries, blueberries, huckleberries and Marion berries right through the fall. They have a a u-pick field or you can buy the berries already picked. Every year they participate in the Hood River Valley Harvest festival in October. People remember them and line up for the massive cinnamon rolls, hand pies, scones, pies, decorated sugar cookies and other delectables. Oh, and fresh berries! Prices are a bit high, but the quality is definitely there. These are not mass produced, but made in small batches with fresh ingredients and love.
