So the salesgirl spent half an hour trying to help me salvage any of them that could be used, any not totally broken, and it was just a travesty. What kind of gardening store can't sell you tomato cages? Furthermore, the people that work there have no idea what they are doing. They seem totally disinterested and ignorant. I asked for garlic one day and the girl behind the counter lazily looked up from her cell phone and said they didn't carry it. I said you don't carry garlic at all? And she said no, they don't have cooking supplies! I said I wanted to plant some and she seemed surprised that garlic is actually grown, rather than opened from a bottle.

They also have a number of chocolate and ice cream topping type options near the register. It was perfect for my better half who is a huge fan of dark chocolate and sea salt! This is a great spot to stop in and grab some thing to either get you out of the doghouse or keep you from entering said the dog house!

The owner of this company, Mike, is a complete jerk. We purchased thousands of dollars worth of…read morematerial from Morton and Sons. The first two deliveries were seemingly fine, but the loads did appear small. I gave Morton and Sons the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to use the materials that were delivered. On the third delivery, the material we recieved was quite obviously less material than what we ordered. I phoned the company to notify them and the owner passed the phone off to the delivery driver. I insisted to speak with the owner and he immediately proceeded to tell me that i was wrong and how they've been in this business for 20+ years. I tried to send him photos of the materials delivered but he refused. Instead he informed me that he was going to drive out to our location and measure the material and will proceed to bill us extra if it ends up being the 10 yards of soil that was ordered. Sure enough, Mike drives 45 minutes to our site and determines that our delivery was less than the amount ordered. He told my employees that he was going to cal me but he didn't. Since then i have calculated out the materials from one of the first deliveries and have determined that Morton and Sons shorted us on one of the first deliveries as well. I suspect that Morton & Sons shorts everyone on their material deliveries. Calculating cubic yards of material is not easy to do for many people so it's easy to cheat people on such a thing. The owner is a complete jerk and has no awareness of customer service either. Steer clear of this business.

It reads that the owner immediately drove out to investigate. We've all dealt with that from time to time, and may even have been on Jason's end of it. To Jason's Credit, I'll wager he'll be back (if he hasn't already) to Morton & Sons - showing he's smart enough to know he overreacted, and man enough to realize this and show up - because he knows they're the best in the business. Our family has used Morton & Sons for decades (not once or twice) and have found every person working there, as well as the owners Mike and his wife Jenny, to be among those who go above and beyond in quality of their product, the amount received or delivered, and in friendly and immediate service. I've NEVER heard a negative thing said about Morton & Sons from anyone I know. Only positives. If anything, they will often side on giving more than you paid for, and expect nothing in return. A policy that is hard to find these days. They are helpful and have spent many years in the business. They'll answer your questions and give great advice on top of it. It took 3 weeks to be delivered…read more When they showed up they just set the washing machine (still inside the box) inside the door and left. They had my son sign the paperwork that says "Delivery and installation!" They didn't set up anything and left it just sitting there in the box. They didn't give us the hoses which we were required to buy for $24.98. Who are these deliver fools! I have a ramp up to the back door so this should have been the easiest deliver ever! All of this means I can't wash any clothes until someone comes back on Monday to set it all up. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a delivery! I'm in my 60's and they just dumped the washing machine inside my door. I am including photos to what I came home to for proof. Never gonna buy appliances at Home Depot ever again!!

They were very kind and helpful on the phone and it sounded as though they would be a great choice for the flowers for my mother in laws service. I was a little surprised when they told me that funeral sprays START at $200 but agreed to the price because I wanted something really nice for sons' grandmother. I gave them my credit card over the phone and they agreed to send me pictures once the spray was done. Imagine my surprise when my son sent me pics of the flowers that he received at the service. First, I was surprised that the florist hadn't sent me the pictures they'd promised. But when I saw the pictures I realized why-- they had sent a BOUQUET of flowers and not a SPRAY of flowers to the service. When I called to complain they offered to make the spray and send it but this was after the service and too little too late. They asked me what they could do and I said refund me the difference as I paid way too much for a bouquet of flowers. They did refund me $50 so I essentially got a beautiful bouquet for $50 more than the nicest version I could have purchased online. I would not call this florist to order directly and instead use teleflora or 800 flowers where you see exactly what you get as you order it.
