Why did me and my bestie have a PILE of clothes on the register. Shoes, earrings, purses (3), shoes, pants, dresses and more. This is when I stopped and said why have I not heard about this place many many times before? I was in awww and can't believe that we stumbled upon this. No one in Yakima has even shared this spot with me. Which is fine, more for me now!! Lets go back to the pricing, the system is wild, and they have really good stuff for the prices their selling it for. They have swim, tank tops, sweaters, decorations, office supplies, I mean literally everything. I was sooo happy to have found this gem. My bestie and i walked away spending less than $100 bucks (and I got over 22 items). I also re sale items soooo some items are not for me, which I know people are going to eat UP - I scored. Between the both of is, we got five pairs of shoes. I will be taking my items to this store when I come back into town next month for another day of shopping!!! All profits go to support the Union Gospel Mission and as it were, it's the old Union Gospel Mission that was then transitioned into a store when they outgrew the space. It flows like the bottom level of the hotel, and now we know why! The selection of stuff is pretty vast, ranging from kitchen items, clothing, plenty of trinkets and a pretty good vinyl section. As with most thrift stores there's plenty of stuff that probably won't go with your current house, but while in there I was able to find a good number of things that did actually go with ours. Of all the thrift stores in the area that I've been in, I really felt like this one was the nicest, knowing that everything goes towards a good cause probably meant I bought a few more things. This place is an absolute must check out for anyone who likes going searching for something you didn't know you needed!

This spot is located at the Northish end of the mall, near Zesta Cucina. What we found a quaint, unassuming spot with plenty to stuff to keep us busy. From wine (they have Old Goat so we're sold!) to specialty olive oils, kitchen and home decor, to glassware, soaps and hot chocolate mix, they've got plenty to keep you busy. The folks working here are attentive and very nice, happy to help and very relaxed. They're not selling Walmart priced goods so don't expect bargain shopping, but that said, the goods they have are high quality and worth what you're paying. Well worth a look and part of a growing number of solid specialty stores in Glenwood square!
