The first thing I noticed about this place is that most of the items they have are in good shape and there was very little junk. There are plenty of antique stores where most of the items are just trash found in an attic that folks assume is valuable. Here, it looks like everything is brought in by different vendors and then priced - I love this aspect of capitalism! Incentivizing people to bring their best stuff and promoting competition. Items ranged from farmhouse type antiques, all the way down to a small children section. We found a cat in the hat Dr. Seuss dictionary that was pretty legit. They also had more recent options like beanie babies as well as some antique themed novelty shirts. What we didn't find anything that we absolutely needed at home, there were plenty of options and this is definitely the sort of place that I will probably run through when I'm downtown and have a couple extra minutes. Well worth checking out.

Delightful little home shop in Glenwood square that's well worth a check out!…read more We had dinner down the hall and decided to peruse the place after we finished. This spot is located at the Northish end of the mall, near Zesta Cucina. What we found a quaint, unassuming spot with plenty to stuff to keep us busy. From wine (they have Old Goat so we're sold!) to specialty olive oils, kitchen and home decor, to glassware, soaps and hot chocolate mix, they've got plenty to keep you busy. The folks working here are attentive and very nice, happy to help and very relaxed. They're not selling Walmart priced goods so don't expect bargain shopping, but that said, the goods they have are high quality and worth what you're paying. Well worth a look and part of a growing number of solid specialty stores in Glenwood square!

He did a great job and at no extra cost. Now it hangs in my living room. A few months later I went back to him to see if he could frame a 1941 class picture of Marilyn Monroe that had belonged to my grandfather who had gone to school with her. On the back of the photograph was her dedication to him. I told him to take his time, this was a very special piece to me, and frame it as he saw fit. When I picked it up, it exceeded any expectations I may have had. It was so spectacular I had to hold back my tears. He took such care in doing this job and had such great ideas. He is an artist and one of the friendliest people I have met. The photo now hangs in the entrance to my house where I can treasure it everyday. Thank you!
