Would recommend this business to everyone. I bought a beautiful print of Mount Rainier and asked…read morethe owner, George, if he could split it into three parts and frame it. He did a great job and at no extra cost. Now it hangs in my living room. A few months later I went back to him to see if he could frame a 1941 class picture of Marilyn Monroe that had belonged to my grandfather who had gone to school with her. On the back of the photograph was her dedication to him. I told him to take his time, this was a very special piece to me, and frame it as he saw fit. When I picked it up, it exceeded any expectations I may have had. It was so spectacular I had to hold back my tears. He took such care in doing this job and had such great ideas. He is an artist and one of the friendliest people I have met. The photo now hangs in the entrance to my house where I can treasure it everyday. Thank you!

We stumbled across vintage me when we saw sign for the café that sits in the back of this place…read more Wandering through, we found a lovely little antique store! The first thing I noticed about this place is that most of the items they have are in good shape and there was very little junk. There are plenty of antique stores where most of the items are just trash found in an attic that folks assume is valuable. Here, it looks like everything is brought in by different vendors and then priced - I love this aspect of capitalism! Incentivizing people to bring their best stuff and promoting competition. Items ranged from farmhouse type antiques, all the way down to a small children section. We found a cat in the hat Dr. Seuss dictionary that was pretty legit. They also had more recent options like beanie babies as well as some antique themed novelty shirts. What we didn't find anything that we absolutely needed at home, there were plenty of options and this is definitely the sort of place that I will probably run through when I'm downtown and have a couple extra minutes. Well worth checking out.

A vintage treasure hunter's dream!…read more We were in the area checking out some thrift shops and stumbled across Somewhere in Time, and WOW. This place is incredible! If you love vintage, antiques, collectibles, or just wandering around looking at random treasures, you absolutely need to stop here. They have VINYL RECORDS GALORE. I'm talking rows and rows of records, with so many different genres and eras to dig through. You could spend forever just browsing the record selection. And the antiques and collectibles?! TONS. There is so much to look at that you really need to take your time because you'll probably notice something new every few minutes. Vintage clothing, toys, furniture, decor, records, artwork, and so many unique little pieces that you don't see every day. I also loved how much personality the store has. It feels like stepping into a giant time capsule filled with treasures from different decades. Every corner has something interesting going on, and it's the kind of place where you want to slowly wander around rather than rush through. This was easily one of my favorite thrift stops in the area. If you're a vintage lover or someone who enjoys the thrill of finding something completely unexpected, put this one on your list. You could genuinely spend hours here digging through everything! Definitely a must stop for anyone who loves vintage treasures.

The folks working here are attentive and very nice, happy to help and very relaxed. They're not selling Walmart priced goods so don't expect bargain shopping, but that said, the goods they have are high quality and worth what you're paying.
