The first thing I noticed about this place is that most of the items they have are in good shape and there was very little junk. There are plenty of antique stores where most of the items are just trash found in an attic that folks assume is valuable. Here, it looks like everything is brought in by different vendors and then priced - I love this aspect of capitalism! Incentivizing people to bring their best stuff and promoting competition. Items ranged from farmhouse type antiques, all the way down to a small children section. We found a cat in the hat Dr. Seuss dictionary that was pretty legit. They also had more recent options like beanie babies as well as some antique themed novelty shirts. What we didn't find anything that we absolutely needed at home, there were plenty of options and this is definitely the sort of place that I will probably run through when I'm downtown and have a couple extra minutes. Well worth checking out.

A few months later I went back to him to see if he could frame a 1941 class picture of Marilyn Monroe that had belonged to my grandfather who had gone to school with her. On the back of the photograph was her dedication to him. I told him to take his time, this was a very special piece to me, and frame it as he saw fit. When I picked it up, it exceeded any expectations I may have had. It was so spectacular I had to hold back my tears. He took such care in doing this job and had such great ideas. He is an artist and one of the friendliest people I have met. The photo now hangs in the entrance to my house where I can treasure it everyday. Thank you!

It's a great use of space with a, predominantly, indoor plant selection on one side and a small coffee shop Dash the Yakima coffee Company Dash with some seating on the other. I've always been a fan of their coffee, and there's something very calming to drinking a good cup of coffee while also looking at succulents or other small potted plants for home. They have plenty of other accoutrements on either side. They have a broad coffee selection along with mugs and other coffee related pleasantries on the coffee side, while on the plant side they have plenty of different plant related trinkets which include lots of vases, tools and other fun stuff to make your home nice and welcoming. The prices seemed to be fair, though in all fairness I am not a plant expert. It's legitimately fun to see specialty stores like this popping up in the area and based on the traffic from the first couple of weeks, it feels like this place is going to do just fine.
