Gabriel is the best!!! He helped me with all the electrical work in my house after I bought it, the prior owner was a DIY-er so we had a lot of updates to make and Gabriel took care of everything including a new electric panel install. He's honest, reliable, and has competitive pricing. His work speaks for itself on top of him being a great person. He came back out today with a few new needs I had to upgrade my outdoor plugs and of course he did a great job. I've referred him to friends/family too. If you need electrical work, please call Gabriel! You will not be disappointed, in fact, you'll be really impressed! read more

Came to inspect a light fixture after it was drenched from a roof leak. Gabriel came out same day. Had pleasant customer service, thank you.

I found Gabriel on Yelp as I needed electrical help and the person I used in the past moved out of the area. Gabriel came and fixed our ceiling fan with a new outlet and upstairs bathroom lights, again needed a new switch. We will definitely call on him in the future. Would recommend! read more

Well, our home has been aging and some things had stopped working. We chose Rivas Electric and he was responsive within 24 hours. He came and assessed what needed to be done- 2 ceiling fans and the repositioning of some electrical outlets in one of our bedrooms. Then he scheduled the visit. But we really liked that he called us to ask if he could come do his work 2 or 3 days sooner because a window of time had opened up. He did very good work and he and his helper cleaned up any mess. read more

We own a rental property in West Covina that was experiencing frequent power outages. So I searched on Yelp for the ideal electrician to diagnose and fix the problem, and I found Gabriel of Rivas Electric Solutions to highly rated reviews. Gabriel came out to our rental property, troubleshooted the problem, and found and fixed the burnt wires in the attic. Gabriel was highly professional and helpful with the work. Not only that, I made a friend out of Gabriel! read more

We bought our first house, which was super exciting. Super charming house built in the 1950's... but with that came with 1950's electrical and not up to date for what we needed for our EVs and smart home gadgets. Gabe was referred to us by our realtor and I'm glad he was. What initially was going to be just a much needed 100 amp panel to 200 amp panel upgrade for EV charging ended up being much more as I found other things I wanted to upgrade. Gabe was very accommodating to all my additional request and even when I had a change in plan with my recess lighting, he was able to walk me through what I needed to get to make my vision work, especially at our house which was a single story with vaulted ceilings and VERY limited and narrow attic crawl space, he was able to make it work and we're super pleased with how everything turned out and at a very fair price. Recap of everything we had done to our 1950's home: - upgraded our electrical panel to 200 amps and labeled all the wires - added a tesla wall charger and additional 14-50 outlet - added recess lighting throughout the place and upgraded the wiring for hit - added Lutron smart light switches for me - created a wall switch for a fan that was previously installed Gabe is definitely the guy I would recommend and go to for any electrical work and will definitely use him on our next house in the future... and I'll be sure to find a place with more attic crawl space for him to make it a little easier haha read more

Can't recommend Gabriel enough! Work: Converting a convert 10-30 to 14-30 (or so I thought) for a dryer, adding in a new breaker for Washer+Dryer, and stringing a new line to the breaker for the washer. Workmanship: Very friendly and down to earth, walked me through the process of what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what the problem was from before. Had no issue crawling around in my small attic to string the new wire to the breaker. Made sure everything was done correctly and ensured everything was working before completing the job. Bonus: Offered to help me figure out what the random "?" breakers were that were listed on my breaker-box from the previous owners, answered my many questions about what this random wire was for/to, or that random switch was for/to, and to top it all off he didn't mind my small talk and many questions! Just before he was about to leave I had asked if he could help me look at the office once he had finished the initial job and help me figure out the tom-fuckery that is the wiring situation in there. With no questions asked he came in, helped me figure out what was going on with the wiring in the sockets and switches (which is a job for another day) and what the solution may be to fix it. All of this was done at the preset price, nothing extra added in at the end like other contractors, no hassle, no fuss, extremely simple and straightforward! Gabriel is 100% my go to electrician for any work I may need in the future! read more

Gabriel is experienced in his field, knowledgeable in his craft, and fair with price. I interviewed multiple electricians and knew I wanted to go with him after he came out to meet with me and went over the detail with what I wanted to have done. He investigated the best avenue to complete the work and also took care of me not only as a customer but as a person and homeowner as well. You got a customer and advocate for your craft for life, and, a fishing buddy if you ever get some time off. Thank you! read more

I contacted Gabriel last Friday afternoon and he was literally here at my home in less than 30 minutes to evaluate my needs and provide a quote. He and Thomas came out on Wednesday and ran a new 240V. line into the inner wall cabinet so we could replace an old gas oven. He also added ceiling drops in 3 upstairs bedrooms that we've been wanting to put ceiling fans/lights in for as long as we've lived here. They did a great job and both are extremely personable. I would not hesitate to recommend his services for electrical work done right and at a very fair price. read more

All the light and power went out at one area of my house. Gabriel worked patiently and checked every single possibility, and finally found a broken wire at the crawl space. His work is very clean and he never leave even a tiny piece of trash behind. His price is very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with his work. I recommended Gabriel to my neighbor who needed a new electrical panel and EV charger. Gabriel's price was the lowest among all the quotes. My neighbor is another happy customer. read more
