We put in an emergency request within Yelp for an electrician for a circuit breaker problem. From Yelp, the request goes out and electricians respond. Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Scam artists! I called and repeatedly asked for quotes after telling him what I needed to have done. Said he would give a quote on arrival. After arriving 5 minutes before I told him I was scheduled to leave for an hour and his technician seeing that I had all the materials and simply needed installation he quoted me $800. I declined the service, suddenly the quote went down to $550. I said I wasn't interested. Then they complained about having driven all the way from Riverside. Doubtful, but that's why I asked for a quote ahead of time. But all the sudden I'm wasting his time when he will not give a quote before arriving. Then there were stories of misquoting because they thought I needed supplies even though they quoted a price after seeing I had already purchase everything that was needed. Then the price suddenly went down to $400. And I said I would not be rewarding their scam with the job and in no way was I going to leave their technician alone in my home for an hour. Hire at your own peril and know that the first quote you get is double the actual cost of the job. Bad businesses like this should be drummed out of business.
