It all started with our garbage disposal suddenly not working, which led us to call Volt Tech. Adrian arrived promptly the next morning, quickly troubleshooting and diagnosing the issue. It turned out we had some branch circuit and wiring damage. While he was there, we also asked him to take a look at a few minor electrical issues around the house--things we had been putting off for years, like outlets not working properly. We've lived here for 18 years and never had to call for any major electrical work, so most of the setup was still original. Adrian took the time to explain and show us the differences in the newer electrical panel switches and reassured us of the updated safety features. Given the age of our system and his clear explanations, we felt confident that upgrading was the right move for our safety. My project was a bit expensive (new GFCI plug installation in the restroom) and did get a little involved but was able to get it done in about two hours. Definitely people who will get the job done and in case anyone is not comfortable with doing drywall patching themselves, they do offer that service if the task done involves creating holes. read more

As a woman, I also appreciate that they didn't immediately default to my boyfriend, who happened to be there but does not own the home with me. No condescending tones and only explained things in simpler terms if I explicitly asked. Which tbh should be the bare minimum but I've had a plumber ask me what I did for a living, I told him I'm an engineer, and then literally 10 seconds later he says "let me dumb this down for you" even though I already fully understood what he was talking about and didn't ask for a simpler explanation.
