Communication before the appointment was great, as they followed up the day before and day of the appointment. David, the electrician, was prompt, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem, suggested some updates to my breakers, and provided a reasonable quote. I also got quotes to replace some lighting with led and install an external socket. Unfortunately the install for Level 2 EV charging: Nema 14-50 was complicated due to panel upstairs and garage not directly below the panel in the condominium complex. I got quotes from 5 electricians in about the same ball park (2-3k). Main reason I went with Volt tech was because Ben explained things very well + he himself would get the drywall fixed(unfortunately they didn't color it, will need to do that separately) After some scheduling issues with Ben having some emergency, on install day Austin and Edwardo came and they did an amazing job as can be seen from the pics. They even cleaned up after, and now I have fast charging for my daily commutes. Next day Jose came to fix the drywall, and he too did an amazing job. Ben and Austin even followed up after the job, and gave a 1 year warranty for piece of mind. Overall amazing job. Wish they had agreed to do the painting so I didn't have to worry about that, but that's okay. I now never have to go to the gas station again :) read more
