5 stars for Cindy - she was wonderful and thank you for taking great care of my mom!…read more Took my mom and myself to get a pedicure as a treat for Mother's Day. We did the same thing last year here as well and unfortunately I was disappointed with my service both times. I got one of the older women both times (I didn't ask her name as I was unhappy and just wanted to get out of there). The paint job is nice, nothing wrong with that. But this is a huge treat and part of the service they offer is a 4 minute massage. Both times this woman just rubbed my legs the entire time (after she wasted almost a minute drying my gel). I work on my feet and looked forward to get my feet rubbed even if it was just a couple minutes but unfortunately after paying $106 for both pedicures I didn't even get to enjoy the full service. It felt extremely rushed even with absolutely no one else in there and having to say something about not getting the full service. Everyone else was very nice and the atmosphere is clean enough. Just maybe don't go for the older woman if you want a decent service besides the color. Will probably be trying out a new salon after two strikes

Thought would be closed due to holiday but YES they were available today! Nail tech said yesterday was super busy for all those ladies wanting NY nails. Today's visit was removal of gel X , back to natural nails since back to work. Sounded like it has been taken over by another owner. Staff very friendly, was served coffee while there. LoAn did fantastic job. Will miss my long nails but feels good to go back to regular length.

I can't say enough good things about this place…read more LOCATION: Centrally located on the border of Fremont and Union City on Alvarado Blvd. It's in a strip mall with lots of available parking. SERVICE: Customer service is great. Mimi was a little quiet, but very sweet and extremely talented. She listened to my requests and checked in to ensure I liked what she was doing, before moving forward with all nails. Owner is also very kind - was open and direct telling me to save time and money when I had requested cat's eye on my toes and said to just use chrome as my toenails were so tiny. LOL. Do NOT sleep on that Vietnamese coffee if they offer it to you! It's absolutely delicious! I'd go back for that alone! QUALITY: My first time there, I was the happiest I'd been about how nice my nails turned out in YEARS! It was a pink chrome with French tips and looked so elegant! Received so many compliments at the wedding I attended and for weeks after. AND, due to crazy schedule I didn't get back to them for 4 weeks and both nails and toes still looked great, no chips - just a bit grown out, of course. Went back last Friday and could not be happier with my pink cats eye nails...WOW!! They're mesmerizing! Now, it has been a little time consuming when I go - but they make it worth the wait. Last week, they had small staff due to graduations. So hoping next time will be a little faster. BUT - again, worth the wait! Just don't go when you're rushed, you'll only frustrate yourself. Other than that - run, don't walk, if you want a fair price for gorgeous nails!

First, I was shocked that a basic kids' pedicure for my 8-year-old son cost $27. All they did was trim and clean his nails, followed by a short leg massage. That price seems extremely high for such a simple service, and there was never any discussion of pricing beforehand. The biggest issue, though, was my own nails. I paid about $55 for my gel manicure--$35 for gel polish, plus an additional $20 for a French tip and a small Mickey design. When I woke up the very next morning, less than 24 hours later, the entire gel polish had already peeled completely off one of my thumbnails. The French tip and Mickey design on other nails were also already lifting and peeling. I've never had a gel manicure fail this quickly. If I lived closer and didn't have to drive across the bridge, I would absolutely return to request a full refund because this level of quality is unacceptable. Between my dad, my two kids, and me, we spent close to $500, so we expected much better workmanship. My daughter's nails actually turned out great, so this review is strictly about the quality of my nails. One other thing that bothered me was my dad's pedicure. The staff kept offering him additional services during the appointment, and he kept saying yes without realizing each one came with an extra charge. By the end, his pedicure totaled over $100 plus tip. I really think pricing for add-on services should be clearly explained before they're performed so customers can make informed decisions. I've attached photos showing my thumbnail the morning after my appointment, along with photos I took the night before. It's incredibly disappointing to spend this much money and have a gel manicure start peeling in less than 24 hours.

Update to the update…read more I was unable to return for the nail correction that they offered- which was very appreciative of having that option. I went back for my builder gel fill on my natural nail and was satisfied with this set. Shape is on point , almond and I like more slender and the tech did that for me. This time around they did have new colors that caught my eye like the cat eye chrome and a client next to me was having some airbrush art work, which is something I never saw before so I will be back to try some funner creative sets. Full transparency my builder gel fill was 60$. My nail tech was swift, and detailed. For this experience I had - well worth it!

I was really excited when this place opened up. I'm the type of person that likes to get pretty intricate nail art and collaborate with their nail tech, so I went here three times just to give them a chance and see what they could do. The first time I went with my friend and her technician kept complaining that her nails are too short for the design she wanted. My friend told her many times that she needs them short for work. In the end, that's on the skill level of the nail tech and should not have been the customer's fault. My set went fine, my nail tech was very kind, and the art work was cute. Second time I went there for wedding nails, they said they could do the design and had their tech practice the design in advance since I sent the pictures early. My tech was actively getting trained on the job how to do the nails, which is fine, but the owner was making passive aggressive comments on how she has to keep telling clients the design will not be like the picture, only similar. I left with a "good enough" nail set because I was already there for a few hours. Third time, I gave them a photo of the design I wanted in advance and mentioned in the client comments when you book that I wanted them black and white. Again, amazing that they get their techs to practice, but hope was already dwindling. The day of my appointment, the owner showed me how the nail design turned out on someone she practiced on, and it looked PERFECT! I had hope my nails would turn out the way I wanted them to. Then things took a turn when her partner reminded her that I wanted black and white. She decided to have an argument with her partner in the middle of the nail salon about her wasting her time picking out colors and decided to not do my nails. Instead, she leaves the tech who is prepping my nails to carry on with an intricate design, plus there's communication issues between the two of us when I try to tell them what I want done. The tech tried their best, then visibility got overwhelmed because of the language barrier, and told me the owner would take care of my nails. She had already left me to do another client's nails that came in well after my appointment time because she was upset. Honestly, what kind of owner has an argument with their partner in front of clients and then proceeds to neglect their original client??? I wasn't going to wait even longer (I was already there for two hours) for her to finish with another client, so i walked out. I had never ever walked out on a salon before. The partner insisted I didn't have to pay for an incomplete job (my nails only had two layers of solid color without top coat), but I insisted that I at least tip my nail tech that struggled with me.

Sadly, I will not be coming back to this place. I came to do my nails (French tip) with Lisa. Barely a week in my tips were turning brown, and the paint was cracking! I had to wear it like this to the event I was going to And TO My job. The last time I addressed this problem Christina said it was the heat from flat ironing my hair. This time it's my fault bc of "chemicals I'm using". (No I did not use any heat or hair dye in my hair and I don't tan!) when I texted Christina how can I fix it she said come in and so I did. When I got there I can tell the atmosphere was different. They were asking if I dyed my hair, did I go tanning, and I told them again NO. they kept talking in between questions in their native tongue I started getting uncomfortable at that point. At the end I got charged with another fee of $30 after I spent over $100 the last time I did my nails. I will not be back. Thank you but no thank you.
