I wasn't going to post anything but now I'm upset because i feel like this place really messed up my toe. After she cut me, she kept putting alcohol on it over and over again. The nail polish is clumpy, it's not a clean job. My French tips don't have defined lines. You can see the swirl of the paint brush on my nail. I was just so disappointed. And i just don't like nail shops who charge for every little thing.. example.. if i go get my nails done.. I get hard gel and she's really efficient with cleaning and nail prep. While that's the boring stuff, it's so important to get right so that your nails look good and last. Came on a Monday morning and they were able to get us in right away. We booked online the night prior and booking was super easy! We both got the royal pedicure. There were several pedicure options and we opted for the one that came with the paraffin wax, sugar and salt scrub with 10 minute massage. First impression- clean and bright. Relaxing, soothing music in the background while we got our pedicures. Helen was super attentive, making sure I was comfortable the entire time, checking in with me throughout the pedicure. I went in here today for the first time with two friends of mine. We all got pedicures and I usually don't get pedicures in the winter, but I had put it off for long enough, that I thought it was time to just go ahead and get one anyway. I was instantly greeted and helped by Lynn; she allowed me to look at the colors right away, while she prepped the pedi chair and then was given the price menu along with the color books. I felt very relaxed as there weren't too many people here either at the time and one of my friends commented that she liked the music. I was also given a drink menu and they have snacks and water here too if you are hungry and thirsty. I thought it was a good selection of drinks to choose from, and I got the viet coffee which I enjoyed. Not that many salons offer food and drinks to customers, so it's a nice gesture. Lynn was very personable and gentle with the massage. I would come back here if it was closer to my house. I am glad though that I decided to go with my friends here as that can be more fun. The interior is clean and well kept. The bathroom also is big and spacious. The only slightly confusing thing to me was that they have a cash price and a regular price for cards which i am not sure if it's some sort of fee or tax, as that needs to be a bit more clear. The amount doesn't seem to be that much different either way? I asked about it but not sure if I fully understand still or if they were not sure either what I was asking about. Amazing price for the value. Helen and Tiffany were so sweet, patient, and accommodating as they worked on me. They offered me tea and kept checking in to make sure I was satisfied. They didn't mind when I asked for changes to the nail color. Often times, I've experienced nail techs who get frustrated when they are asked for modifications. This has put me off from nail salons in the past. So it was very comforting to see the opposite here. They genuinely want you to be happy with your nails. I called and left them a message if there was anything they can do and they didn't do anything. Now I have to deal with my foot in pain from being burnt. I arrived 10 minutes early to look at their color options. 15 minutes later I was assigned with Helen. I asked for a gel manicure with solid color on my nature nails. Unfortunately, I broke 4 of my natural nails so Helen fixed it with gel extension. (Thumb, index, middle fingers are all extension) Helen was fast! Simple manicure done within an hour. Paid and left the door at 6:10PM. My only complaint is on the extension. 2 of which were little lifted. I rarely get extension so I did not check. Could've avoided it by pressing down firmly onto my nature nail. Will be back in a month once my nail gets longer. read more
