Went to Napa, came to the market to figure lunch options. We knew Lattes were a must for the drive home. I think as I get older my taste in coffee has simplified. As a teen anything sugary sweet, but now, I just want a good tasting espresso latte. No added syrups. I'm always on a hunt for a place that just has great tasting espresso that shines through with the milk. Their espresso was delicious and had great flavor. I'd def come back. read more

First off, Ritual consistently makes one of the best cappuccinos I've had. Perfectly balanced and smooth. Way better than most coffee shops in Napa that either burn it or drown my poor espresso in milk. Also, I want to give kudos to Jewelyanne (I think I spelt her name right) who made my day! The coffee was excellent as usual, but the real cherry on top was her positive energy that is uplifting and genuine. She even brought my coffee over to the bar where I was sitting which I didn't expect at all! It felt more like an experience than just getting coffee. It's the little things like this that keep people coming back and I surely will! I totally recommend going to Ritual if you're in Napa. Great coffee! We always make it a point to stop by for a cup every time we're at Oxbow Public Market in Napa. They are located on one corner of the market and easy to find. Their Foggy latte was our go-to a few years ago but has since been rotated out. That drink consisted of earl grey tea, orange blossom water, and espresso. Since this drink wasn't available anymore, we went with their new seasonal drink, the Smashing Carrots - spiced carrot cake latte topped with nutmeg. Highly recommended! It was incredibly delicious and tasted exactly like carrot cake. The service was quick and friendly. While you place your order at the main register, the drinks are collected from a separate counter around the corner. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to watch the coffee being meticulously crafted. You could sense a real passion among the team. read more

One of my favorite spot in Napa -Located inside of Oxbow Public Market, a must spot to visit when visiting Napa. This place is known for their great selections of coffee and seasonal drinks. This time I went to hoping for their seasonal Hojicha latte (after checking from the Yelp page), when I arrived it was no longer available. There's also convenient canned coffee you can choose from as well. The barista was kind in explaining the different drinks and catered them to my taste. Ritual Coffee is a very tasty spot inside of the Oxbow market in downtown Napa. After an initial cup of coffee and breakfast nearby, my wife and I decided to grab a second cup of coffee at Ritual. We ordered a cold brew and a vanilla latte. It was quite a wait to get those coffees. It seems they prioritize espresso orders which means that even a quick pour on a cold brew took awhile. The coffee was tasty and the pricing wasn't awful. Cool vibes at this location with great people watching. I've heard only good things about Ritual Coffee Roasters, so naturally I had to check them out for myself. I ordered an iced mocha. I love when you can still taste the coffee (not watered down or overly sweet) -- and I sure did after my first sip. The coffee was smooth and had a perfect balance to it. Location is prime, inside the Oxbow market. Lots of foot traffic there. Plenty of seating available inside. There's also pastries available to purchase. My toddler picked a sprinkled scone. We got a 8oz nitro cold brew. It is quite smooth not bad. They are a famous coffee roaster after all. The location is inside Oxbow Public Market and the space is open and clean. However, service is quite bad. Staff was quite indifferent and unwelcoming.. it really kills the coffee experience.. Considering the cold brew plus tip is $6.5 we are definitely not expecting bad service at such a fine price point. I was very excited to try this place out but left with a bad taste in my mouth (emotionally). There are other coffee options that are more fairly priced and better service in the area so I don't think I would recommend to anyone or come back myself. Approach with caution. read more

The iced matcha was just okay and quite small for the price. Service was poor. I asked to add whipped cream to my drink and was told it wasn't possible. However, my friend's iced drink had whipped cream, and they told us that was the only drink allowed to have it. I would have gladly paid extra. The staff was friendly but if you are planning to sit down you may be competing against other folks who may be dining around. Just a bit further is the patio with heaters that you can sit and relax. Think of an angsty teenager that has better-than-you attitude, but then also doesn't really care about the job or service. The coffee and the snacks/desserts are fairly standard and decent. Prices are definitely on the high side, especially for coffee, and even for the Napa waterfront area. Parking is limited and challenging in the adjacent lot. Would probably grab coffee outside of Oxbow Market to avoid this place if possible. read more

We got two teas and a decaf coffee so I can't say we can judge their coffee, but I've heard they roast their own beans and their coffee menu looked great. Their tea variety was awesome with some unique flavor blends I hadn't had before - they weren't quite as flavorful as I'd hoped, but I like the uniqueness. I'm told these guys roast their own beans, and I believe it. The aromatics alone are so convincing that this has to be the best coffee shop in all of Napa. It's located in the Public Market so easy to get to on foot or by driving as there is a huge parking lot right outside the market. Service is extremely quick and efficient. You can watch the barista(s) grind and press the coffee beans directly in front of you as they prepare your perfect cup of Joe. read more

I always stop by ritual when in Napa to get some good coffee. I'm not one to stray from my basic latte, but the seasonal menu had me curious. I ordered the 'SPROMONI latte - (a take on the Italian classic with pistachio syrup, espresso, and cherry whipped cream Concocted by Colleen at the Roastery). Do yourself a favor and get this!!! I truly had no idea what to expect but this drink was an experience. Drinking it feels like you walked into a 1960's ice cream shop and ordered a classic sundae. I am a coffee brat and have toured coffee shops all over San Francisco/So cal/ Portland, Oregon etc and this is probably my top 3 drinks that I have tried and I have tried a lot of unique lattes! The pistachio syrup was a unique twist but the drink still tastes like coffee/espresso. I LOVE the classic spin to this latte. It's not overdone, it's not too sweet and it still feels like it compliments a latte and coffee well! Compliments to Colleen at the Roastery who created this special drink. After trying it, I came back the next day to get another one. This drink is now a core memory for me. It's not everyday you get a flavor experience in your taste buds, but this is it. read more

It's sort attitude " We only serve a cappuccino the correct way, and we're here to let you know those flavors have no place in our store. But wow, that croissant was expensive beyond belief. So what did I do?! I bought the croissant. I was just curious to see what would justify the price. Now, I live part time in Europe where the bread and croissants are a religion. Serve a bad pastry and you'll be arrested for assault and bakery! I've eaten just about every kind of croissant in every place you can imagine. There was nothing about this croissant to recommend it. And they wouldn't even warm it up! I can't remember the exact price but I remember the sting of it. And the croissant was waaaay too crispy.
