Another cutesy Equator location that just opened! So stoked about not having to drive all the way out to Marin to get an Equator matcha. The line was super long (good for them especially with just opening). I loved the energy of the community gathering to see this baby open! My matcha was good, it wasn't quite to the usual consistency and taste which I kind of figured as I saw the barista training. No worries, I'll be back again and hopefully by then training is fine tuned!

Staff is so friendly, sweet, and helpful! Great vibes inside and there is plenty of outside seating. I love that they stay open later than most coffee shops! I got their mocha with Black cherry cold foam and let me tell you it was bomb! They also made the cold foam with almond milk so the whole drink was lactose free which is so great because most places cold foams are not lactose free.

This coffespot was right across the street from our hotel, so it became our go-to during our stay in Sonoma! We obviously walked over each morning but there is a large, shared parking lot available for use. The space inside is quaint, with just enough room for groups of two to sit inside. Nothing too special, but welcoming! The staff was friendly during our visit. The real star is the carmelized banana latte, which was so scrumptious it had us returning again and again! Highly recommend! read more

So happy to have a new coffee shop in Sonoma & one that is so popular for their delicious coffees! Located in a cute shopping center near the Sonoma Plaza, with plenty of outdoor seating as well as a few tables indoors to enjoy your coffee & pastry. The service is friendly & they do well in explaining their drink options. The Shakerato, a triple shot iced coffee is my new favorite coffee ever! They offer seasonal drink options, which I have yet to try. Definitely going to be a new favorite spot. read more

Checked out the new Equator Coffee today, near Black Bear Diner and Darling Ice Cream here in Sonoma. They haven't been here long, but seem to be pretty busy. I ordered a Habibi latte after learning it featured cardamom (a favorite spice) and a piece of coffee cake. The latte was smooth and not too sweet, with just the right amount of cardamom. The coffee cake was plush, no dry cake here, almond-flavored, with an almond-crumble topping. The baristas were friendly, answered the questions that didn't answer themselves with a quick glance at the menu board, and executed my order perfectly. The seating looked welcoming. Unfortunately I took my order to go - errands were calling. Maybe next time! My only grumble is the hours - they open just a smidge too late for me to swing by before I drive to the office and close too early for a late afternoon or early evening visit. read more

Great coffee...their matcha is also delicious. They have a really good avocado and toast, you must add the prosciutto though Their indoor sitting is limited but they have plenty of outdoor sitting. Staff is always so friendly! Glad this new coffee shop opened up. read more

I've been a faithful drinker of Equator coffee for a few years now so I'm really happy a cafe opened in Sonoma! The drinks are so delicious and the staff is so incredibly friendly. My go-to drink is a mocha with the most delicious housemade whip cream. The location is perfection with outdoor seating next to the gorgeous water fountain and near a gazebo that's all lit up with a gorgeous tree for the holidays. It's like having my very own Hallmark Christmas moment. I've been quite a few times now and every visit has been wonderful! It's a geat addition to Sonoma. read more

Whoever scouted this location for equator coffee did a great job. It faces out to a beautiful courtyard in a southern orientation. They have a cheerful staff in the coffee is first rate. This is quickly becoming one of SONOMA's favorite coffee houses. On cold days the inside is rather limited so they may not always have the biggest crowd, but that's OK. read more

The fresh roasted beans are particularly fresh. Fresh roasted beans make the best pot of coffee. I normally purchase on a pretty regular basis cofff from this coffee shop because of its focus on Swedish decor. I also can attest to the real tasty muffins and some of their other food selections. My words to you all tea snobs unite and all coffee snobs unit. All snobs of coffee and tea are united today and forever. Those who arrive 1st make sure to be very nice to employees so they continue returning to their jobs and making their customers feel valued. Remember the small business owner is an employee who worked themselves up in life to have enough money to open their dream business.

We started with The Morel mushroom tartare, which is morel mushrooms, with an egg, shallots and chives oil over a perfectly well toasted sourdough. Delicious! The steak tartare did not disappoint either. Great balance of flavor between the two. The mushroom earthy flavors along with a light hint of pesto from the morel tartare really balanced out the richness from the steak tartare. The pickled figs served with in the steak tartare really called my attention as they were delicious as well. That was my first having pickled figs :) The salad was delicious, I am a sucker for cheese and the perfectly ripe figs along with the chèvre cheese truly hit the spot. The wild flounder pouched was the wild surprise! I love a restaurant that preps their seafood just right. I love seafood! And I do not like it when it's over cooked. This dish did not disappoint! It was so rich and delicious. Flaky yet nicely seared on one side full of that citrus flavors along which just enhances fish's flavor once it hits the taste buds! The flounder was served over a bed of mashed potato and spinach. That perfect combination. The drinks were delicious as well. Honestly, the service, the food, the vibe, the sunset it was all perfect. I'd like to come back up to try the mussels, duck or some other entree next time I'm in the area, though I probably wouldn't go out of my way.

Simple ingredients done really well; fresh meats, crisp vegetables, soft bread straight from the oven. The owner and staff always seem genuinely happy to be there, and it gives the whole place such a warm and welcoming feeling. They also have little Italian drinks, snacks, and specialty goodies that make it fun to grab something extra alongside your lunch. It's a smaller little shop, so I recommend taking your sandwich to go and eating over at the Sonoma Plaza. Such a special little spot in Sonoma.

As I was heading back to the square (where there is an abundance of restaurants), I didn't want the busyness of the scene; thankfully, I got on Instagram, typed "good eats in Sonoma", and BAM! Salumeria Ovello popped up on my feed, and thank goodness it did! An easy 4-minute walk from Vallejo House, Salumeria Ovello is owned by Andrea, who is a Michelin-star chef from the area of Piedmont, Italy. Having been to Italy twice this past year alone, I remember quite well the quality and taste of the classed Italian Sandwiches. The worker who served at the counter was very helpful, and within the restaurant --- there are just a few seats. I'd say, 3 tables with two seats at each table. For my food, I decided to order the Massimo --- which is on "sliced Focaccia, and has sun dried tomatoes, stracciatella di burrata, prosciutto cotto, basil pesto and crumbled taralli (crackers)". Each sandwich is made fresh-to-order, and you can taste the quality. Each ingredient worked together in harmony, and to satisfy the americani in me, I definitely enjoyed the taralli in the sandwich --- reminded me of putting chips in my sandwiches in school. While I waited, Andrea also brought out some slices of salami for me to try --- free of charge, which was very kind of him to do. All in all, if you want to get away from the busyness of the Mission Square, take a 4-minute walk to Salumeria Ovello, and you'll find a little piece of Italy in Sonoma! Ciao tutti!

Family oriented and pet-friendly winery with a small play area for the kids. Parking lot is kinda small, had to park across at some other event that was going on.

Some street parking available, but also off the main drag in Sonoma, so it's very walkable from wherever you find parking. We chose to hangout on the patio, so we didn't really see inside. The patio is spacious, well-decorated, and has a bit of shade to escape the California sun. The staff was really friendly and conversational during our visit! They have a few beers and plenty of wine available to sample! We tried a few of their brews during our visit! They were refreshing and crisp. Nothing to blow you out of the water, but a great alternative to all the wine throughout Sonoma.

The winery itself is very cool and super fun to hang out at. The even serve beer for the non-wine drinkers. I'm not sure how to leave photos but I wish I could. I highly recommend checking this place out. These are the kind of wineries that make me like Sonoma over Napa. Ended up buying a case and will be back very soon for more.

This is the best Café known to man kind. I got the iced strawberry matcha latte and it was the best matcha I have ever had. The service was so good the workers were the friendliest people ever.
