Friends and I came here for a midday coffee pick me up! We ordered an iced caramelized banana latte and a banana matcha cloud 1/2 sweet with oatmilk. The banana latte was great, strong and sweet with a nice banana flavor. The matcha had a strong matcha flavor which I like and loved the banana cloud tasted like real bananas and not overly sweet. We had great service and spent some time in the shop which isn't big but big enough to hangout for a little bit in. Loved the shops pop of red color. read more

This coffespot was right across the street from our hotel, so it became our go-to during our stay in Sonoma! We obviously walked over each morning but there is a large, shared parking lot available for use. The space inside is quaint, with just enough room for groups of two to sit inside. Nothing too special, but welcoming! The staff was friendly during our visit. The real star is the carmelized banana latte, which was so scrumptious it had us returning again and again! Cute coffee shop! Very friendly staff & lots of drinks to choose from. They also have a variety of pastries & sandwiches. I got an Iced Brown Sugar & Cinnamon Shakerato it was so yummy! So happy to have a new coffee shop in Sonoma & one that is so popular for their delicious coffees! Located in a cute shopping center near the Sonoma Plaza, with plenty of outdoor seating as well as a few tables indoors to enjoy your coffee & pastry. The service is friendly & they do well in explaining their drink options. The Shakerato, a triple shot iced coffee is my new favorite coffee ever! They offer seasonal drink options, which I have yet to try. Definitely going to be a new favorite spot. read more

Last time I was in the area of Sonoma, this place was about to open. It was nearly almost to completion. Fast forward to last weekend, I had found myself n the area again , and it was 1 st priority to check it out. I frequent the Oakland many times and the Coffee and quality is the same. Completely slow and almost a ghost town since it was a Holiday parade down the street. The counter gals were nice and it was a normal Vanilla Latte day. I can't till the Orinda location to open soon which will be a lot closer location to visit but it is my favorite chain to visit for a quality cup of coffee. read more

Checked out the new Equator Coffee today, near Black Bear Diner and Darling Ice Cream here in Sonoma. They haven't been here long, but seem to be pretty busy. I ordered a Habibi latte after learning it featured cardamom (a favorite spice) and a piece of coffee cake. The latte was smooth and not too sweet, with just the right amount of cardamom. The coffee cake was plush, no dry cake here, almond-flavored, with an almond-crumble topping. The baristas were friendly, answered the questions that didn't answer themselves with a quick glance at the menu board, and executed my order perfectly. The seating looked welcoming. Unfortunately I took my order to go - errands were calling. Maybe next time! My only grumble is the hours - they open just a smidge too late for me to swing by before I drive to the office and close too early for a late afternoon or early evening visit. read more

Another cutesy Equator location that just opened! So stoked about not having to drive all the way out to Marin to get an Equator matcha. The line was super long (good for them especially with just opening). I loved the energy of the community gathering to see this baby open! My matcha was good, it wasn't quite to the usual consistency and taste which I kind of figured as I saw the barista training. No worries, I'll be back again and hopefully by then training is fine tuned! read more

Been wanting to check out Equator for sometime and this location is the nearest to me, yet a drive. Was able to get there right before closing (hate doing that)but so wonderful to see that they were still welcoming in patrons (so glad they didn't close early)! Very friendly, warm smiles upon walking in to a very clean, sterile space. Lots of fun matcha and cold brew foam flavors. Tried the vanilla iced latte (could use a little more vanilla as it was faint) and a decaf Habibi latte (orange, cardamom) which was good after a few sips of seeing if I liked it. Will be back to try more! read more

This store is a little bit small for the crowds that frequent it, but the staff are always super friendly and uplifting and seem to enjoy their jobs and place of work. The drinks always taste high quality and are obviously prepared with precision skill and care, ready on time whenever I order ahead, and they have even offered to replace my drink when I ordered something I wasn't sure I liked (a matcha lemonade) I decided I liked it but the offer was confidence inspiring. 10/10 on the best places to get an artisanal drink in Sonoma. They also have really cool ethically sourced merchandise. I love equator coffee and company! read more

Great coffee...their matcha is also delicious. They have a really good avocado and toast, you must add the prosciutto though Their indoor sitting is limited but they have plenty of outdoor sitting. Staff is always so friendly! Glad this new coffee shop opened up. read more

Staff is so friendly, sweet, and helpful! Great vibes inside and there is plenty of outside seating. I love that they stay open later than most coffee shops! I got their mocha with Black cherry cold foam and let me tell you it was bomb! They also made the cold foam with almond milk so the whole drink was lactose free which is so great because most places cold foams are not lactose free. read more

I've been a faithful drinker of Equator coffee for a few years now so I'm really happy a cafe opened in Sonoma! The drinks are so delicious and the staff is so incredibly friendly. My go-to drink is a mocha with the most delicious housemade whip cream. The location is perfection with outdoor seating next to the gorgeous water fountain and near a gazebo that's all lit up with a gorgeous tree for the holidays. It's like having my very own Hallmark Christmas moment. I've been quite a few times now and every visit has been wonderful! It's a geat addition to Sonoma. read more

Whoever scouted this location for equator coffee did a great job. It faces out to a beautiful courtyard in a southern orientation. They have a cheerful staff in the coffee is first rate. This is quickly becoming one of SONOMA's favorite coffee houses. On cold days the inside is rather limited so they may not always have the biggest crowd, but that's OK. read more

I ordered a 16 oz iced caramel latte, and it cost over $7. The drink only came with two shots of espresso, and I was even more surprised to learn that adding an extra shot costs $4, which seems excessive. The service also left a lot to be desired. When I walked up, there wasn't a single employee in sight. I waited around 12 minutes before someone finally came out to take orders, and there wasn't any acknowledgment or apology for the wait. To top it off, the coffee itself just wasn't good. The latte lacked flavor and wasn't enjoyable, especially considering the price. It's the worst tasting coffee I've had in a while. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for a good cup of coffee. There are plenty of other local coffee shops that offer better quality, better service, and more reasonable prices.

The breakfast burritos are also DELICIOUS! They serve food from Valley Swim Club next door (same owners), who also hold a Bib Gourmand. The staff is always friendly, and I genuinely look forward to coming here on the weekends. Definitely one of my favorite local Sonoma spots!

They utilized a unique flavor combination with coconut that I had never tried before and ended up rather enjoying. I can't say much on the quality of their beans as I chose a slightly more sugary option from the menu that would have drowned that out anyways. When I returned to The Oxbow later in the year, I was interested to try their Matcha option. As multiple other reviews have noted, it tasted grainy, unmixed, and barely anything beyond green milk. I hardly tasted the syrup in the drink. It was supposed to be a brown sugar flavoring and it practically didn't come through at all. The service was curt and direct, but not unpleasant. Almost as if the barista wanted to move on task-wise to whatever came next (despite me being the only one actively ordering at the time).
