This place is my favorite of all the breweries in the IE for two reasons. 1. The beer. They make a mean IPA. The Hop-O-Matic is perfect. If you're a hop fan, you'll love it. I debated so hard about buying that growler to make myself drive out their often to fill it up. I, instead, bought a tall bottle to open on a special occasion, like tomorrow. Wit's End and their single rye IPA are also delicious. 2. The atmosphere. Big, open warehouse with community tables, corn hole and 2x4 Jenga games, beer tanks, and friendly people behind the bar. There is also a stage where I assume they have live bands. I haven't experienced that yet, but we're bound to luck out one of these days. It's really hard to understand how any true beer drinker could say anything bad about this place. It has everything a brewery could offer. I miss you already. read more

This place is HARD to find!!! Drove right past it! They need a big lit sign on the building! I had kind of written Ritual off as just riding on the coat tails of Hangar 24 creating the Redlands Brewing Scene without even trying it, my mistake! They are brewing some really quality beer here and definitely giving Hangar a run for their money! The people that they have working here are really helpful, friendly and beer-educated! They explain in detail each beer in the flights and really know what they are talking about, great work training Ritual! The staff is not stuck up or snotty at all, like at some breweries, big relief!! The tasting room is unlike most of the brewery tasting rooms I have been to, the brewery is in a large industrial building, so the tasting room is all indoors! They have corn hole courts, with regulation distances too! They had signs up that they were going to be expanding and under construction too. I am sure they are doing well! They have some really nice beers, i think their most popular is the Ritual Red very tasty if your in the mood for a lighter beer. The Single Rye IPA is great if you are looking for something a bit heavier. I'll be back, for sure. MY GO-TO: Ritual Red and Single Rye IPA, but Flight it up! read more

Local brewery interested in a wider range of beers, not just IPA's. Has spot for kids to play outside. Growlers are available for purchase. If you have a glass one from another brewery, they'll do an exchange for theirs. They won't use another type of growler so be aware. The hellion is a delicious Belgian style golden ale and a nice option to try out. Snacks and small plates are available too. read more

I have been to ritual twice now, and I like it. My friends and I all like this brewery. As everybody says its somewhat tucked away in a business complex (as is becoming the norm with start up micros). It's not all that hard to find though, and I say it's worth it. I have not had a beer I didn't like, but the 2 standouts were definitely Hellion and Extra Red. I took a growler of hellion home and have thoroughly enjoyed it since. I wish they were closer. I look forward to seeing their distribution increase and get on tap and in stores in the OC. Go in, try some beer, and chat up the employees a bit. read more

Anyone who knows me at all knows I'm s HopHead...that is, a true aficionado of craft and microbrews ales and lagers. It's something my cousin got me into a couple decades back and been a very enjoyable part of my life ever since. I'm a big fan of Hangar 24 and what they've helped bring to the Inland Empire; so with that in mind I decided to give some other local IE breweries a try. To that end, I decided to start with Ritual. I had tried a bomber of their "Wit's End" what beer from a local store and liked it..so I thought I'd try their stuff straight from the tap. The place is a little hard to find. It's located in an industrial park down the road from Kaiser. The building itself is very nondescript. But look on the north Side of the street for all the cars and a sign that says "beer here" and you'll find it. The place is roomy..I'll give them that; with a stage for music performers and an area for corn hole and giant Jenga set up for people to enjoy. There are also many long tables for seating that are made from reclaimed bowling lanes. Seating is plentiful. The beer tenders were very friendly and knowledgable and didn't mind when I brought up the name of their cross town competitor. They did a great job describing the beers and comparing their tastes to other ales I might have tried in the past. The wife had a refreshing light ale called "Monk's Lunch" which she very much enjoyed. I tried one of their hoppier sampler flights. I rather enjoyed that that featured different flights for different styles and tastes...and will even customize one for you. The beers were tasty. I rather enjoyed the Rotational Rye IPA and their Art of Dsnkness Double IPA. Very floral and hop-forward without being tongue-raking. If your a fan of craft beers this is certainly a place to visit! 4 solid stars. The only thing holding them back from the 5th are the limited days and hours that the tasting room is open. read more

This was my first visit here. I love their set-up. They had ping-pong tables and bean bag games. The staff is also pretty friendly. I ordered the "Year Round" tasting flight and it had good all around flavors. My favorite part of the evening was when we where leaving and one of the staff members said "see you tomorrow" hahaha. Whatever your taste in beer is Ritual Brewing has something for you. Every time you come in, there is something new and different to try. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their beers and very friendly. They are making world class beer in Redlands! Their Fat Hog barleywine and Big Deluxe Imperial Oatmeal stout have won gold medals at GABF. There are plenty of games (cornhole, jenga, etc.). During the COVID-19 pandemic there are very few breweries I feel as safe at as Ritual Brewing. Face masks, social distancing, hand sanitizer and all surfaces are being continuously cleaned. This week's hottest brewery is...Ritual. This place has it all...Twinks, gypsies, clones, freaks, screaming babies in Mozart wigs, and a Russian man on a prepaid cell phone. OK it has none of that, but what they do have is amazing beer. Everything on the flight was top notch from the rum barrel aged Extra Red to their hazy IPA. Nice open area within some corporate office looking building. Had four corn holes and giant janga to play with. The servers were friendly enough and offers mini cups to taste. Double red ale was my choice of beer. Had that bitter but smooth taste with a very rich color. Nice to look at, better to taste. Wasn't as strong as a double ipa which is a little too bitter for me. Love that it's kid friendly. They allow dogs and is very spacious inside and out except for parking. The service is great as well. They didn't have food 2 years ago but now they do. You just scan the barcode that's provided on the table or menu they give you and a digital menu will pop up from the restaurant across the street (Surfer Joe's) I believe? And place your order. I'd leave zero stars if I could, let's first talk about their beer is not that great I'd rather go to escape or bootleggers if I want something to drink, we were happily having a good time with we had a group of 10 and we were enjoying our fitness birthday. Then a staff had the audacity to come up to us and tell us we had too much because we were to loud and talked to us like we were a bunch of 12 year old , considering this was only one round of drinks we found this extremely rude. The guy who wouldn't give us his name "Denver" he was wearing a green shirt and had no remorse to us and walked away. We all left and didn't finish we went down the street to bootleggers where we were treated with better customer service, I will never come back. So if you would like to be treated like actual customers I'd recommend going across the street to bootleggers or to downtown Redlands read more

This place is awesome. It has corn hole and adult size Jenga. It's very large and has a stage 4 live music. They have many different beers that they make there and you can see all the brewing equipment right where you're at when you're sitting down or playing cornhole. They also have several different shirts and different things that you can buy there for souvenirs. They are in an industrial area and it doesn't look like it would actually be a place that you can drink it's just a door that leads to a very awesome place. There's no food there but apparently there is a food truck that goes there sometimes on the weekends. There beer does taste good I tried one of their double ipas it was a little bit strong but it was still really good. read more

I really like this place. It had a spacious floor area where you can stand and talk or play 1 of 4 corn hole games while you sip great ale. The bartender was very friendly and made great suggestions. He is very confident in their product and happily suggested other places nearby we should try but said we would be back and we probably will. The inside is rustic but inviting. Breweries fall into two categories to me these days: - Hipster town - Traditional brewery To start I wouldn't say one is exclusive of the other, but imagine a spectrum and a brewery can lean one or the other. Hipster town usually has a huge extensive menu of brews far from being perfected. More of a scene that making good beer this, Hipster town is the cool place to be. A traditional brewery has a less extensive menu than hipster town but the brews on tap are of quality. The focus is more on the brewing and serving good beer. Ritual is hands down the best brewery in the area and most notable for Southern California. Brews are top notch, beer tenders are awesome, and its my favorite place to hang out. For the more intrigued research the owners, most important Owen and read his credentials and work history. What a great brewery! Let me list the reasons I love this place: Great open space... You won't feel crowded when coming here. It's located in a large industrial/warehouse type of building, but it's still very clean inside Great beer! I'm not a big beer drinking gal, but my husband is, so I stuck to a lighter Belgium beer called Wit's End. It was just right! Light, crispy, and refreshing. My husband had the hop o matic and the darkest beer called Fat Hog. He loved them both! Atmosphere is also really chill, with plenty of space to play (buzzed) Jenga, and cornhole beanbag toss. There is a stage, so I'm assuming they have live music at nights... We came on a Sunday around noon. Bottom line is, this place is great for a new place and deserves to get checked out! This is a fun brewery in the San Bernardino/Redlands area. I've bee here on a couple times and it hasn't been too crowded. We were still able to find a table and also get in a game of corn hole. The beer selection is pretty good, but nothing really stood out to me or any of my friends. However, I really like how they have a lot of games (4 corn hole and two jenga) so that you're not just sitting around and drinking. Unfortunately, like many breweries, they neither have any televisions nor do they serve food outside of some snacks (chips, pretzels, etc). So, it's not a great place if you're trying to grab a drink and watch a game. But, it's nice that they do allow outside food. We actually ordered a couple of dominos pizzas and played corn hole while we waited for them. TLDR; adult drinking games + decent beers. read more

Ritual makes the best IPA I have ever had (it's called the Habitual Haze), which is not surprising as it seems that they put a lot of thought and effort into all of their beers. Their many beers are high quality and definitely worth trying! The tap room is nice and spacious, with lots of space to sit and a few cornhole boards and giant Jenga. I do kind of like the open industrial feel, even though it's not always what I'm looking for in a place to hang out and have a couple of beers. While there's a lot of open space, I did feel rather oppressed by the volume of the music, which made it hard to carry on conversations without yelling.
