I didn't go to the Blue Ash office, but did got to the office in Maineville - it may be the most disorganized business I've ever dealt with. Long waits, stuff not orders, bad service - no way I'm going back and I highly recommend you find someplace else. read more

The doctor we saw was amazing she took her time and really made sure prescriptions were accurate. They were very patient with my anxious child who was upset with the entire eye doctor appointment. The doctor gave each child her entire attention and talked them through the appointment. One child needed glasses, another was boarder line, and the other didn't need glasses. The doctors and assistants get 5 stars. We are off to try glasses and this is where everything goes downhill. Since this was our first time there we needed time to look around since my child has difficulty making decisions we needed space. The woman helping us was NOT personable AT ALL. She seemed either bored or disappointed in her job which is fine whatever... we finally settle on frames. She comes up with a price of over $300!!! Uhm no, no way at all, my spouse's multi focal extra lightweight super lenses are under $200. There is no way these are over $300 not for simple lenses and frames. She keeps on insisting this is the price after much nagging she finally realizes that NO she has not applied our medical insurance or our vision insurance. Tells us the frames will be ready in a week if we have not heard from them to call. I call to see if the glasses are in and of course they aren't. Why you may wonder because she "forgets" to order the frames. We finally get the glasses child wears them and of course within a few months breaks them so we have to use the warranty to replace them... the frames should be in within a week. I hear nothing of course because that might actually be good customer service. I give 2 weeks because of the snow storms and hear nothing. I call and they are not sure about where the frames might be and will call me back... oookkkaayyyy. Yeah them they call and tell me that they did not put my child's name on the order so it got absorbed into their stock but the frames are in and we can come in anytime. Spouse takes the child in and the glasses are NOT the ones we had ordered they try to give him a completely different color. Are you kidding me... are you completely kidding me?!?! So spouse looks to see if the ones we originally ordered are on the shelf they are not but a different color are and thankfully INSISTS they use the color closer to what was originally ordered. The fact that a lot of persuading had to be used to switch the frames and get the kid what was ordered is disheartening. The fact they didn't call to let me know that the original frames were discontinued and give us other options was disappointing. The fact they charged us for such an unprofessional experience is rather expected because please let me give you $20 to not live up to expectations and be indifferent to your client's needs. Honestly I am so disappointed by this place we will never ever use them to buy glasses again. read more

The optometrists are fine. But be very careful to pay attention when they present you with the options as you pick out glasses. They will try to steer you towards more expensive options, and they will encourage you to make selections which may not be covered by your insurance. I feel I was ripped off at my recent visit. I will not return. read more

Have only seen Dr. Hagee (for yrs), and he is the best I know. Unlike so many in healthcare these days, he actually takes whatever time you need. You never feel rushed with Dr. Hagee, and he explains all and answers every question you might have. The only attitude you'll get from him is a good one. Beyond that, it is readily apparent that he is as professional, up to date, and competent as any can be. You will leave there knowing you're exam was performed by the best. I've lived in many places in USA and foreign, and Dr. Hagee is number 1! You will feel as much a friend, as a patient. So... I can't say enough good about Dr. Hagee. My only connection to him now is as his client, altho I did once attend the same church as he did many years ago. That's how I heard of him originally. There is/was no other connection, business, social, or otherwise. As for his staff and the business itself... we (my entire family) have never had any negative issues. They have two offices - one in Maineville and one in Blue Ash and shift between weekends when they are open. I've been to both many times and Blue Ash always has a much better selection of glasses to try. I recommend Ritter-Haggee without reservation. read more

Hang onto your pocketbook when you go in for an appointment. They will try to upsell you all kinds of different eye exam add on's which are very expensive. You wont find this out until you get the bill later on. Its not clear which tests are included in an eye exam and which are up sells. I wont be back. read more

Bought a new pair of glasses as well as a new pair of lenses for another pair, never wear the older pair pulled them out of the case and the lenses are delaminating after 2 years. They said sorry lens technology has changed and the old stuff isn't very good. Thanks for standing behind your product. read more

Ritter Hagee is a great optometry practice in Blue Ash. It is much different than the corporate vibe you get at a Wing Eye Care or similar. The doctors and staff are all very friendly and attentive, and spend as much time as needed answering questions, concerns, etc. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new eye doctor in the area! read more

i was schedualed at 10:30 at maineville location. the tech who took me back kept inquiring about my pupils being large, as i had no clue why nor how they were large. she implied and literally asked if i had been "partying" which i dont party nor do i do drugs. i told her i use these antihistamine eye drops, and she shrugged it off. the eye dr told me those particular drops DO dialate pupils and i have nothing to worry about. during the whole visit with the actual dr, i felt so rushed. he flipped through the lenses to fast i was not able to make easy decisioons regarding if #1 was better or #2 was better and whatnot. after we were "done" , he gave me a set of contacts to try on. i sat for 10 minutes and instantly about fell over and had a severe headache. i told him the poweres were not right and i needed a stonger set and the numbers were off. of course since he is a "dr", i had to have been wrong as he let out a long *SIGH* as if i were inconveniencing him in some way. so he gives me a different pair to try on. SAME THING. after another 10 minutes he lets out another long breathy *SIGH* and gets a really annoying attitude! he gives me a couple glass lenses to hold over my eyes to see whats better or worse. low and behold the pompous idiot says he "under powered my numnbers" and finally gave me a pair that was correct and to where i can see. so after all of dr. know it all's *SIGHS* and hurry hurry attitude, was in fact WRONG and was severely unsuccessful in rushing an unrushable process. he then threw his coat on and left within 45 seconds of all this as if his saturday was so much more important and my vision was not worthy of his attention. i then go over to get the ball rolling on my glasses. the lady followed me around the racks and was pulling pairs and coercing me to pick this or that pair. i never got to look at frames for more than 3 minutes. this whole experience i was rushed, called a drug addict, and was a victim of a doctor not wanting to do his job. this joke of a dr told me i couldnt see because my pupils were diulated, B/S!!! IMAGINE IF I WALKED OUT WITH THE WRONG SCRIPT OF CONTACTS AND WAS IN A WRECK! I WOULD IN FACT SUE BIG TIME. you have to listen to your patients, and if they tell you its wrong, ITS WRONG!!!! if you dont want to work, spend time with your patients, and listen, STAY HOME or go work at mcdonalds. i really wish i could get a refund, and i hope dr shat breath reads this! read more
