I tried a short squirt with the one I purchased because I had never owned one and wanted to make I understood how to operate it. I then regretted that I hadn't paid attention to how far the spray went. So I tried it a few days later and it didn't spray at all. . .so if one misses attackers eye area, one would not be able to re-aim and correct your aim. . . and beware, some may have no spray in them at all.

Not only was it cheaper at Big 5 but they were helpful and I was happy to support a local in-person business rather than Amazon or another online retailer. I think I got a better quality item at Big 5 for approximately 60% of what it cost through Amazon so I was very pleased! Not only did they have sporting goods stuff but also shoes, slippers, clothing, pool toys, and even some little plushie toys. He asked me to trade in the Bar in question , gave me a 60 pct credit on original purchase price , I bought another used curl bar with a military Discount with the stops included. So a better bar , complete for Less net $$ than new collars on EBay. And I could make sure it all fit. He said he would deal with the other bar and figure out a way to make it right later on.
