I am just now getting into archery and heard great things about the PSE pro shop so I thought I'd take a look. Being new to archery I wanted to start out on recurve. I was pretty disappointed in their selection. They don't actually make their recurves in the factory next door and have to order just like everyone else. When I told the workers that I was new to archery and what I needed to get started and set up for a recurve bow there responses were aloof and minimal. After finally finding a bow I wanted to try I was able to place an order which would arrive the next day. I was told I would be called when it was ready and that didn't happen so I called myself. I was told the bow I ordered was given to someone else and that I would have to wait two months for another one. If you are looking to start out on recurve don't go to these guys. They tend to be more knowledgeable and helpful with compound users. read more

Bought a bow online, the limbs split and splinter every year during non use, for no reason, pse warrantied the parts the previous years, this year, they ask for a receipt or they won't warranty.... pse registered the bow, but won't warranty because I don't have a receipt from 6 years ago. Customer service just tells you to bad. Buy a product from a company that will warranty their product as they state they will. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this location has an Outdoor and Indoor shooting range for $7 a day. (I think they should create a membership pass). The Staff was knowledgeable and the selection of Bows was quite large. This is the Factory outlet so only PSE bows, but in that arena these guys are pretty awesome. The shop is pretty large, i didn't get to se everything, but Im going back for sure. read more

First off walking in the front door is like heaven for a bowhunter or an archer for that matter. I picked up a brand new 2012 Brute X in skullworks camo and man this bow is sweet the set it up sized and draw weight for free with new resized d-loop. i brought my own sight and drop away and they even installed those.. PSE is just plain top notch service and top notch products. I have been back twice since and you get a free month use of their indoor range when you buy a bow. Bought my PSE Dream Season Decree here, which was set up as a manager's special. Got a good deal on it, especially compared to what I have found online. Bow is awesome, but I wish I had spent more time there getting it set up to my liking before taking it home. I shoot the outdoor range once a week, Monday mornings it has been empty for the past few weeks I've gone, which is nice for getting your bow dialed in (and helping your girlfriend with her bow) without interrupting others. 7 bucks to shoot all day. The café recently was closed, which is a bummer, they had some pretty tasty food. I worked with Gabe when I bought my bow, but haven't seen him the last few times I went in. This is my 3rd PSE bow I've shot, and a big part of that is wanting to support local Tucson businesses. read more

These guys were the best. I drove an hour and fifteen minutes both ways to get my bow worked on and it was totally with it! I tried getting my bow worked on at a shop near me. They had me schedule an appointment only to not be able to work on it at that time and couldn't finish what I needed in 5 hours. PSE I walked in handed my bow over and he didn't put it down until he was done. I recommend everyone if you can to go here. I know I told all my hunting buddies about my experience already. Came in for the single hour lesson. Instructor's name was Zac (may be a different spelling). It was a Thurday and there was no one else. Had fun shooting a bow for the first time and Zac was a good conversation partner while shooting. No pressure to buy and just learned more about the community in Tucson. read more

DO NOT BUY THE 2016 PSE DRIVE R!!! I can't even believe these people want to call themselves one of the top archery brands! I'm disgusted and appalled. No longer do I want to buy PSE products. I'd rather take our future business to a better more respectful company.Their FAULTY Product could have severely injured/ killed my husband who is an experienced archer and hunter, and that makes me infuriated. I hope they put out a recall but they most likely won't so I'm trying to save some lives. Customer service was alerted to the issue, and I basically got the big fat middle finger, and them trying to blame my husbands " improper " use. A top rated company should have good customer service not an instant screw you attitude. Here's how it all happened: My husband received this bow in the skull-works II color for Christmas. We went down and bought it at our local PSE archery dealer, after hours of research, as he had shot a compound bow before, and wanted a better one for larger game hunting. PSE SHOULD HAVE inspected their Product BEFORE it ever left their factory but they did NOT. This specific bow did not even just have one problem, it had MULTIPLE! A $500 product made by a top rated company should have 0 Problems NOT multiple. With all the issues of faulty craftsmanship, it broke 24 of the arrows we bought for it. When you would go to release the arrow, the cable guard knocked off veins and swings the arrows to the left causing him to miss the target all together. Which in turn, damaged the arrows when they scrapped along the ground and hit the wall behind the target. This would not have happened, had the bow not been faulty. We owned the product for exactly 5 days before the string stop wore almost all the way through the cable, and the cable guard was placed by the factory in the wrong direction. Due to the issues that were caused during manufacturing, if he were to draw it back at its 70lb draw weight again, the cable could have snapped back from the pressure easily damaging my husbands face, and potentially taking out his eye or getting him killed if he had been hunting large game and been spotted by an animal who decided to charge him. It is supposed to be placed to the right, but this one was placed to the left. So we had to take it in to be repaired, and the shop ended up replacing the bow when they had it for an entire week after they discovered the multiple problems. All of the issues would not have happened if it were manufactured properly instead of carelessly. So please don't buy yourself a headache and injury waiting to happen. read more

The shop is nice lots of bows and accessories. The bow smith's they have are great. They seem to always be there. Jess is one of them and the other guy can't remember his name but they are knowledgeable and anyways very friendly. Now the bad part and the reason for a low rating. The pro shop manager Justin. Not a friendly person or the one you want to do business with. Seems more interested in sitting behind a register and not willing to do anything for the customer at all. I have been to other shops in town that are just way ahead of the customer service skills than this guy. I was happy to here they take care of military members from some of the guys I work with and that is mostly true. Justin will not. I even asked about the military discount and he proceeded to inform me he will not do it that the item was already discounted hmm I bought the same item a week or so ago and got the discount. So there you have it. I usually don't take advantage of military discounts but when a company like PSE promotes it and says to come and use it, all I can say is I tried and was declined by their manager. So unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere. Bull Basin is right outside the base on craycroft and Robinsons is on Speedway near Pantano. I have a PSE Stinger X that I purchased elsewhere and it was not set up properly for me. I called and spoke to Jess and he assured me he would be happy to help me. I went into the Pro Shop and that is just what he did. Jess was very friendly making me feel comfortable and assured I got the right bow for me setting everything up for me and allowing me to shoot and helping me sight it in. New at archery. Made a rookie stupid mistake by dry firing my bow within hours of purchasing from Sportsman's Warehouse. Store said they could not help and suggested I go directly to PSE here in Tucson. Went to the store, was honest about what I had done and they fixed me up only charging me $25.00. I later learned that there was close to $300.00 in repairs. Jess, THANK YOU brother! You have a customer for life. While Jess fixed my bow, I spoke to other staff members and they were all friendly and knowledgeable. After talking about it for 20 years I recently decided to get into archery like most of my friends. I wanted to stay local and support a hometown business that makes products in the USA. I'm very glad I decided to go with PSE. I purchased a 2013 Brute-X in skullworks camo. They are currently 25% off. Their carbon fiber arrows and some releases are 25% off as well. So my whole package came at a 25% discount - not a bad way to start out! The best part of the whole experience was working with the two techs in the pro shop, Chad and Will. They were very helpful and patient with a newbie full of questions. They got me set up with my proper draw length and arrows, and Chad gave me a quick tutorial on the basics of shooting form, and I was off and running. When you buy a bow, you get a month of free range time (indoors and out). They do now offer a range membership, $35 a month or $200 a year for unlimited access. Or you can pay $7 a day or $5 for military. PSE does offer a military discount, I believe it's 10%, might be more. I have heard some bad things in the past about the PSE proshop, but those things seem to be just that, in the past. The problematic, rude techs are long gone and things are looking up! I highly recommend this place for all archers, whether new to the sport like me, or seasoned vets. read more

I have been to the PSE PRO SHOP three times . The truth is- I did not get an inviting welcome. It was like , if you find something - like let me know & I'll take the money. Seemed like the regular customers get all the service. Maybe I looked too old & not strong enough to be shooting an expensive bow; I am 80+ , but I am still a very avid archery hunter . My best Bull -410 score- ,unit 11M-sEPT. 2012. Now it's time for me to switch to the Crossbow. I have researched different ones & it seems that PSE makes the one that would be best for me. The Shop: PSE is certainly my favorite archery shop in Tucson, they really can't be beat. Their service is exceptional, their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. Moving from a Diamond Infinite Edge to the PSE Brute Force was a great transition, and they made sure I was set up before I left the shop. When they don't have what you want, they make sure to do everything in their power so that you still leave happy. There are times when the staff may seem unfriendly or disinterested, but I've realized that the only times that happened were when they were busy with bow repairs. They really give it their all. The range: Unfortunately, the range is a different story. It has its pros and cons, but the cons seem to carry more weight. They have an indoor and outdoor range, and the outdoor range offers targets every 10 yards out to 100 yards. This would be fantastic, except for the quality of their targets. They use compressed, stacked carpet targets (as opposed to rolled carpet or compressed foam). With the Sonoran heat and the relatively unused range, this means that your arrows are going to stick like it's the end of the world and the only safe space is deep inside that carpet stack. Normally I wouldn't gripe, but if you pay their range fee ($7/day), it would be nice to be able to spend more than 50% that time shooting, instead of fighting to get your arrows out. The staff understands the difficulty and provides arrow pullers, but it still took a good two minutes to get an arrow that was sunk into a 50 yard target with a 60# draw. read more
