The staff here is fantastic! I consider myself a "competent beginner" when it comes to cycling and triathlon, but hardly a pro, and they always treat me kindly and never make me feel like a n00b. They're super helpful when I have questions, like when I came in for a fit and bought my first aero bars. The fitter was also fantastic-- I signed up for a fancy computer-aided bike fit, but the tech was honest and said that was overkill, so we just did a "basic fit" and got things set up properly! I came back a couple of weeks later to switch saddles, they let me do test rides in the store (on a trainer) and it was no hassle to exchange my previous saddle for store credit. read more

So... I'm a noob... but I tend to get very into whatever hobby I attach to. In my recent quest to change my lifestyle and overall health, I have picked up cycling with the eventual goal of competing in some triathlons. Initially, I decided to Just go cruise the local bike shops and ask general Questions. I just wanted to get a 'feel' for the places. A few shops were complete and total Dicks to me... I mean, I'm a 6' 4" brown dude with a neck tattoo... I am used to some initial hesitance in certain places... but some spots were just downright rude to me. When I finally went into Tucson Endurance, I was delighted by the 20-30 minutes conversation I had with one of their staff about his experiences, and how he got into cycling. He was very aware that I was just trying to garner some knowledge and was no where near ready to purchase a bike yet, and he didn't pressure a sale of any kind. He just HELPED me and educated me. In the last few months, I've purchased two bikes, and one was a cervelo... I am a tattoo artist, so I wanted to customize it... they happily stripped it to bare bones for me and seemed excited to see what I planned on doing with it... and when I finished, I brought the bike back and they flawlessly assembled and dialed it in for me. I wasn't expecting it to be cheap, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of custom work they did. My bike is beautiful and runs flawlessly... not to mention they stayed open late so I could go pick it up... I'd give the gentleman at TEC 6 stars if I could. Wow! Stellar staff!! I needed a bike rack and Pam took a good 45 minutes on the phone to go over in detail her recommendations and the particulars of a hitch mount for my little car. She knew her stuff! Then the hard part started. Bike racks are an extremely rare commodity in these COVID times. Pam said they were flying off the shelf and they only had one left that worked for my car. I hung up the phone and chased to the store which was only 10 minutes away. But I was too late. Someone had already claimed it and it was getting transferred to their second store. I spent a grueling day and a half looking for something else to no avail. Was feeling so discouraged. Then I got a phone call saying it hadn't been sold and did I still want it? Boy did I !? Way to go TEPC staff!! That's the way to look out for your customers!! read more

I have been coming to this store since moving to Tucson 2+ years ago. The service and friendly vibe are excellent. There are two locations . Both have knowledgeable and helpful staff. Love this place! Went in to get a fitting for an upcoming race on my TT bike. Worked with Tyler who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He spent a good amount of time covering everything from body mechanics to specifics on how I could optimize my bike/equipment for improved performance. And while service and knowledge is one thing, the results are what really matter. After a few short weeks of adjusting into the new position my FTP went up by 16% and my speed improved dramatically as well!!! Definitely will make this my main shop for all of my triathlon needs and highly recommend them to anyone, novice to experienced! read more

I'm in town for a 30-day 'boot camp' to recover from a surgery when I blew a spoke on an old pair of Rolf wheels. I limped home and called the shop. I went into the shop to find a seat for my racing bike on a trainer. The seat they wanted to show me was out of stock. After a couple of weeks I got a call from Tyler that the seat had come in. The idea that I actually got a call was truly amazing...since most businesses in Tucson don't follow through like this. The seat works great and it was only $30. This is my go to shop for cycling needs. The owners and staff are super knowledgeable. They have their Skunkworks division for build custom bikes per the customers specs. Guru Suspension is in house to rebuild the sensitive bits on all brands of mountain bikes. Triathlon training and coaching. In house spin training. Professional Bike fits that are NEXT level. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can walk in and talk about your hobby with the crew as if they were long time friends. No feelings of disconnection. Over the years I have had loads of services done and advice is free. If they don't have my size or part in stock it's just a couple days away. They also provide discounts to cycling advocates and its members so ask about available savings and join a local club to reap the benefits monetarily and on the trails and roads. read more

Last fall I was referred to this shop by another bike shop. That alone should tell you something. I was visiting from Colorado and had a wheel emergency. They rebuilt both my wheels that day. Every person in the shop was friendly, courteous, out-going, and professional. Their space looks like it would be filled with elitist snobs catering only to shaved leg racer types. They treated me like I was a pro when I clearly don't look like one. This is the best bike shop I've ever been to and I live in cycling paradise.
