Excellent and friendly customer service. I bought a cheap- o , e-bike on Amazon that died. Pima street bicycle was the only bike shop that would actually look at it , it's my go to bike shop from now on! read more

Pima was able to replace my e-bike brake pads in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable rate. They took the time to also answer some additional questions I had. When future servicing is needed I will be returning to Pima Street Bicycle shop. read more

New to this shop since the Roadrunner shop closed. Extremely friendly and understanding of senior needs. I took my mountain bike in for tune up and will probably buy a new ebike here soon. read more

True story: I had an older road bike and took it to Pima Street Bicycle to have them put new tires on as I hadn't ridden it in years. When I picked it up, they had also replaced the handlebars like they were doing me a favor. I hadn't discussed the handlebars at all. They were exceeding nice and I was happy with them. Several years later, I learned that these particular handlebars were exceptionally rare and worth a LOT. They should be ASHAMED! read more

Very nice shop. Took my newly acquired bike in for a safety check and to have the tires filled. Purchased a bike lock and a water bottle holder which they put on for me. They even cleaned my bike up so it's nice and shiny! Thanks for your help guys. read more

This week my husband and I brought our mountain bikes in for a tune up. Why?? Because this bike shop gets an A PLUS rating!! Last month we had our road bikes tuned up and now they are both running like they are brand new!! I also appreciate how they want satisfied customers and here is a recent example: I needed a new seat and they told me to try it out and make sure it works for me and if it doesn't work I can return it within 60 days. Wow!! This is awesome customer service!! So far the seat is working and yet I'm glad I still have some time to make sure it works for me. read more

Pima Street Bicycle - Storefront - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I had a bad experience at a local bike shop, so I took to Yelp to find a better one. All the reviews told me to try Pima Street... and they were right! Gary and Jessie are the owners and they are there every day, treating customers like family. I explained how my previous shop indicates an issue I was having with my bike was my fault - not the bike's - because of user error. Having been an avid cyclist for over a dozen years I knew that wasn't the case. I took my bike into Pima Street and despite them being so busy prior to El Tour, they were scheduling a week and a half out, when they heard my story they took my bike right then and twenty-four hours later my bike was ready to go. Gary had found and fixed the problem. Turned out it was not user error - it was bike shop error! The other shop had made a mistake. Thank you, Gary and Jessie! You have a new lifetime customer! read more

I broke the chain on my bike. I tried to fix it and screwed it up... brought it to PSB and asked Gary to take a look. He fixed it in less than 10 min and didnt charge me anything. This is how you create a long term customer. This place is the epitome of a mom and pop shop. Gary is knowledgeable nice and looking around I found the prices reasonable for anything and everything you could need to fix bikes on your own. If you want Gary to do it for you, it'll be a reasonable service charge.... and if you want to buy a new/used bike you cant go wrong buying one that Gary has tuned up. This is now my go-to bike shop. I cant recommend this shop more highly. read more

Awesome! I had sent in my road bike for a tune up and received quick service. The owners are a very kind bunch and are willing to save you some money here and there. They are also very helpful with any tips and assistance. I had sent in my bike for a tune up which was $70, then a brake bleed for $20, and a replacement chain for $35. Coming out to a total of $128.02 after tax. Very reasonable compared to other bike shops that offer the same level of tune up for $180-300. (Excluding parts!!!) read more

Pima Street Bicycle - 2021 Specialized Roubaix Sport - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I've known Jessie & Gary, owners of Pima Street Bicycle, for over 20 years. When I decided to take up biking again in my 50's, I bought a hybrid bike from them & rode it on Jessie's famous Tuesday coffee ride. Since then, my biking skills have improved & I now ride a carbon frame Trek. This past fall I was in a collision with another cyclist on the River path. Fortunately, I didn't suffer any serious injuries -same with the other cyclist but my bike took a major beating! I took it to Gary hoping he could fix it & he did but it was a challenge for him. Trek no longer made parts for my bike. Who would think a bike of 8 years is considered old? Gary didn't give up! He made calls & found a way to use similar parts to make my bike whole again. He clearly went above & beyond to help me. I'm not back on my Trek & it rides as well as it did when I first purchased it!!!! Thanks Gary & Jessie!! read more

My wife and I bought our first bikes from Gary at the onset of Covid. Over the past 3 years they have been wonderful and my go to place for maintenance and annual service. I highly recommend them! We live on the far west side about 15 miles away and with heavy traffic through town, we decided not to continue with Pima St Bicycle. I left my bike there for about 10 days for annual maintenance. When I went there to pick it up on the promised date it was not ready. I had to drive all the way back home empty ended and return the next day. I wish they would have called me to say it wasn't ready on the promised date. My advice is to either call ahead or wait for Jesse to call you to say the bike is ready. Don't assume it is. They are really nice people and deserve your business. It just didn't work for us because of the time and distance going across town. read more

Pima Street Bicycle at 5445 E Pima St, Tucson, AZ 85712, in the good ol' USA. Phone: +1 520 326 4044 -- is where you'll find Gary, Jesse and James! Gary and company have been taking care of our bike needs since they first took over this bike shop. In our opinion, they've always been THE most courteous bike shop owners of all; their customer service is very professional and unmatched in Arizona! They've always provided excellent refurbished bicycles, we've purchased quite a few, consigned quite a few, and utilized their most excellent repair service as well! Again... NONE better in Arizona! Thanks for ALL you guys do! ~ d&p read more

I am so pleased that I found Pima Street Bicycle. My Townie cruiser needed a new tire, chain, light, odometer, and a tune-up. Gary & Jesse provided all of this at a price lower than I expected! The turnaround time is reasonable and Jesse called to approve additional parts that my bike needed. I highly recommend Pina Street Bicycles to everyone! read more

So friendly and welcoming. They did a great job with my bike tuneup and were honest about what pieces I needed or didn't need to replace. Very fair price and amazing service. Support local businesses - I would definitely recommend PSB to take care of your bike. read more

Outstanding service, reasonable price, friendly and knowledgeable owners and staff. I have a 20-year old LeMond Buenos Aires. Brought it in dusty, rusty, broken spokes, looking like crap. Before the end of the day, it was tuned up beautifully: trued the wheels, fixed the broken spokes, changed the tubes, cleaned up the chain ring, adjusted the breaks, and so on and so on. The bike hasn't looked or ridden this well in years. I expected to be charged 50% more for the work. I've been to a few other bike shops in Tucson, which were okay, but these guys were far and away the best, as well as the best value. Thank you again!!! read more

Amazing fast service at a great price every-time. I will never go anywhere else for bicycle repairs.

Been dealing with Pima shoo since they were located at the old store a few blocks west if new location. Always been happy with results.

My wife bought a bike a while ago and we wanted to make sure it was in good shape for riding since we've just moved to Tucson. We brought it in and Gary and Jessie were able to have it ready to go in one day even though we needed a full tune up. I just have to state that they are incredibly helpful, positive, and know pretty much everything and anything related to bikes and to nice places to ride here in Tucson. I'd give them 6 stars if I could! read more

You guys are AMAZING. When I came into your shop and asked to see if you could switch my road bike's drop-bar over to a flat bar-- you guys went for it! You have converted my traditional road bike into a much more fun and flexible bike. I'm finally enjoying it so much more than I ever did with a drop bar. You added new handle bars and redid the brakes. The bike rides so much better. Thank you, Gary and Jessie! I appreciate you guys being able to text me and let me know when my bike's ready for pick up. Makes communication so much easier for me. I'm loyal to you and your business!! Love, loren read more

Pima Street Bicycle - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Great costumer service and prices they took care of us very quickly and the bikes are like new

I have to stick with my 2 star review. I was foolish to take your advice on the new tires without researching them on my own. They don't roll anywhere as easy as my old tires. When I said they were heavy, I meant that I felt heavy riding it. It is like riding up hill all the time. My bad. I questioned the rear bearings, because I wanted to believe that the tires were not that slow. The chatter and ghost shifting is real bad in the middle gears. It is easy to demo, but Gary rode it and did not have a problem, so I guess it is all in my mind. It is too bad that you can't post videos here. read more

Took my bike in with a broken spoke. When I picked up my bike, I was told I would need to buy a new wheel next time which would be $80. I took my bike on a ride a few days later and same spoke broke again during the ride. Disappointed and distrusting of Pima Bike mechanics, I went to JJ Bikes who said I didn't need a new wheel and fixed my spoke. I am sticking with JJ Bikes. read more

I have owned my Cannondale Caad 10, Mary Christina for nine years. In those years Mary Christina and I have logged over 38,000 miles. I've had her tuned up in shops from Georgia to Texas to Arizona 14 times. The last Master Bike Mechanic to touch my second love was Gary Menard of Pima Street Bike...and hands down, without a doubt he has renewed Mary Christina to her first ride state! I've logged a couple of hundred miles since I picked MC up the first of August and I'm still shocked. I was thinking about retiring MC but how can I....she rides better than the $15,000 Specialized Tarmac SL7 I tried out. Gary is the best Master Mechanic I've ever met, and his wife Jesse is the sweetest! Whatever brand bike you ride, if it needs new life, Gary is your healer! read more

I just got my adult 7-speed tricycle back from Pima Street Bicycle and I'm thoroughly satisfied. PSB deserves the good ratings it has. The trike was ordered on-line and I arranged for it to be put together. The person only got the bike half done. A part was missing, a part was broken and another part was slightly damaged. I couldn't get any satisfaction from the seller. I called around to see what a local bike shop could do. Most didn't want to take on my problem. PSB took on the project and rapidly put the trike together for a very reasonable price. read more

I came in with my bike poor condition. They quoted me a price and kept to their price even though the parts went over budget. Next time I'll call Pima Street Bicycles. read more

I'm a relatively new bike commuter and the 2006 Raleigh I bought to get me back and forth to work has been having some issues. I tried several other bike shops and, despite good on-line reviews, found their mechanics were the 'throw some parts at it and see if that fixes it' variety. The problems persisted as my bank account shrank! Pima Street Bicycle has excellent reviews too, so I decided to give them a shot. I could tell as soon as I walked in that this place was very different from the other shops I had visited! I was greeted by the owner, Gary, who immediately began diagnosing the problem. He was friendly, and clearly knew his stuff. He also clearly really loves what he does. Long story short, I have a rebuilt bottom bracket a new bail housing and a straightened derailleur hanger -- all done at an extremely reasonable price. I bought the bike used and it rides better now than it has at any time since I've owned it. I'll definitely be using this shop for all of my repair work and to source any accessories I might need. read more

I am new to riding bikes so started last year - the new bike I got last year was not a top brand but it helps me to try this new endeavor - like anything else - the bike needed some maintenance after a year of riding and a "different" shop kept telling me the maintenance/repair cost was not worth the value of the bike - obviously disappointed - I took it to Pima Street Bicyle - they not only made the necessary repairs and tune-up but not a word about how this bike was not "worthy" - highly recommend this shop - outstanding service and high quality work!!! read more

Love this place because its honest, straightforward and doesn't try to up sell you on things you don't really for your bike like other bike repair places that we have went before!
