I worked with a gentleman named Tim who was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. After explaining what my bike needed, Tim assessed my bike and recommended a couple of additional repairs which I agreed to. When I picked up my bike it rode better then when I first purchased it!! I called this shop today as soon as they opened, and explained what I needed. KJ said to bring my bike by and they'd do what needed to be done... it took KJ ~15' to re-assemble my Cannondale gravel bike and it only cost $15! FANTASTIC!! We recently moved to Tucson and needed some work done on my boy's bike. He's in that in-between bike sizes stage, and we could not afford to spend too much on a short-term bike. Thankfully, we found Broadway Bicycles . . . Friendly, Honest, Affordable, and Professional! They took care of us, and we are grateful. I'm not sure what their average repair turnaround time is, but I barely got home and received a call that my boy's bike was ready. Wow! I highly recommend Broadway Bicycles . . . a wonderful place for repairs, and from what I could see in their showroom . . . a wonderful place to buy a bike. Back in May 2020 my wife was having issues with her back and legs when riding her regular bike and I thought we should go look at some electric bikes. I liked the Townie 7d and found that Broadway Bicycles had some so we went and had her try one out. She liked it so we bought it for her. In late May we went up to our summer place near Show Low and brought the bikes with us. It was the first time we brought them up. We were used to walking and decided to try riding. It was not long that I found the altitude and hills were too much for me and my regular bike so I contacted Broadway Bicycles again and ordered a bike for me. At the time I also ordered the Yakima EVO Holdup 2 for a bike rack for the car. It took a while to get the bike in but on Jun21, a little under 3 weeks, I went down and picked up my bike. We absolutely love them! The bike rack was another story. Before I tell you this, I need to let you know that I am totally happy with the results and the help I received from Scott, the owner and Tim who was the original person we bought the bikes and rack through. I received a call August 15 from Broadway Bicycles informing me that my rack was in. I was excited and although we were scheduled to come back down to Tucson in late September, I decided I would drive down the next day to pick it up and drive back to the mountains the same day. Needless to say I was in a hurry and when I picked up the rack it did not seem right but I was assured that it was the one I ordered. I left and all the way back to the mountains I kept thinking it was not right. When I got home I found the receipt and looked it up. Sure enough, it was the wrong rack. I decided that I would drive back down again the next day to straighten things out. Since the rack I ordered was $200 more expensive than the one I actually had I was a little concerned. I met with Scott, the owner of the shop and we went over everything. He agreed that I had indeed received the wrong rack and that he would make it right. He let me keep the one I had picked up so that I would have a rack to move my bikes back down the mountain and said we would just trade them out when the new one came in. That was August 17. Today, November 20, I finally received my new rack! It is the correct one and I am extremely happy to have it. It was just a few days shy of 6 months to get it. Broadway Bicycles has been extremely busy, as have most other bike shops just about everywhere as far as I can tell. Though this whole thing I was kept up to date on what was going on, how they tried to get the rack from other dealers, and even had an alert set up so that as soon as one would arrive somewhere Scott would be notified. I would highly recommend them for your bicycle needs. They are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly and bend over backwards to do their level best for you. This is our new favorite shop! We basically did a bike shop tour of Tucson today. I was looking for a specific bike/type of bike for myself. This was the last shop on our list that we knew (google) sells Electra bikes. We were greeted when we walked in and each person we spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. They had so many great quality bikes! The shop was clean, the bikes were displayed and organized nicely to prevent dings. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when shops beat up their bikes. I would not pay retail for a bike that's all chipped and dinged up. I was glad to see these bikes were well taken care of. Even the "shop bikes" were in great shape. We ended up finding two bikes we loved. One of them was a shop bike that they didn't really want to sell but selling bikes is their business so they still cut us a fair deal. I will definitely be back to this shop. I already have my 2 kid's next bikes picked out. While I didn't purchase any extra gear, I noticed they sell a lot of nice accessories, tools, and clothes. BMX, mountain, road, cruiser, and fat tire options. Plus, they can always order in something for you if they don't have it in stock. Go get a bike today!! read more

Amazing service!! Casey and the others were friendly, kind and worked well beyond what was expected. I flew into town and my Di2 shifting was not working after the bike came out of my bike. Casey called Shimano, got my battery warranty, got me an excellent rental bike, and then got my bike fixed up quickly! I bought a used bike that they had on consignment from them and it ended up having a problem that was a challenge to diagnose but easy to fix. They cheerfully spent the time necessary to figure out what was going on and got it fixed. Broadway Bicycles bike rental experience was completely seamless and professional. When I arrived they began preparing my bike right away and had me out the door immediately. The store was incredibly clean too! The bike was solid and functioned well. But what really impressed me was the level of service Kevin offered when he retrieved my bike front a car accident I was involved in while returning the bike (the bike was fine, car not so much! ) He even returned with my pedals after bringing it back to the shop to remove them. I don't think I've been on a bike since I was a kid. With covid, me like a lot of others wanted a bike. I looked online for a few weeks with no luck. I stopped by Broadway bikes early last Sunday. They had a trek they recommend, but they didn't have a small put together. Jesse called me on Tuesday and my bike was ready. He went over the bike with me in detail. Driving away thinking to myself what did I just do... spending $500 on a bike! Turns out.... I LOVE IT! Why didn't I do this earlier! Highly recommend these guys for maintenance or parts for your bike. I just recently bought a used 1975 Fuji special tourer and need to replace the double brake lever. Scott was very quick to respond and helpful on the quote I submitted on yelp. Jesse that helped me when I came in and was very helpful also and I told him exactly what Scott had quoted me and what I needed. Jesse also gave me a heads up before hand that I might need to replace the brake cables when I dropped my bike off which was awesome and was not hit with any unexpected charges. I've purchased several bikes here both for myself and my family. Scott, is the manager and has been there a long time. He's probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and never feels pushy to me. Buying a bike is just the first step, getting it fit properly and keeping it maintained are important as well. These guys have always gone the extra mile for me. Granted, I've been going there long enough that I have a relationship with the people but still if I need a quick adjustment on something they will often try and do it right then or that same day. They have been able to help me address problems like tingling hands due to bad fit and make adjustments to alleviate the problem. Like any local bike shop, they are going to more expensive than buying bikes from Target or Walmart [insert big box store name here] but the quality of what you will get is far, far better and the personal service they provide after the sale is important. Broadway Bikes does a lot with BMX bikes and mountain bikes. They do have a good road bike selection but often you'll need them to order specific things for you in that category, especially if it's a higher-end or more specialized product. The one thing I like with them is that if you have a problem with something they will work with you to get it resolved - whether it's been an odd sound or clicking in the drive train or a problem with a paint job on the bike that was only discovered a month or so after buying it, they have never let me down. I highly recommend this shop but keep in mind, the level of knowledge of the employees does vary some. When in doubt about something I usually just talk with Scott and that's my recommendation to you. They love cycling and want to share that so you'll always find an enthusiastic crew there. read more

I brought my bike in because I thought I needed new inner tubes. They checked it out and found I didn't, but replaced another part for free. Then I asked to have my tire pump checked, which had a broken valve, and they replaced that part for free. When I picked up my bike the next day, I was told there was no charge, not even for labor! Luckily for them, I needed new handle grips and ended up spending $11.80 including tax. Knowing all this, this wonderful guy named Ryan helped me mount my bike on my car and talked with me for 20 min just because. Support your local bike shop! This is a great local bike shop for us Eastsiders. I went in to see Steve to get my road bike properly fit for my upcoming triathlon. It took 2 hours and cost $150 but was worth every penny. He's certified in Trek's up to date fitting techniques and was very thorough. Don't want to spend that type of dough to have someone measure your cleat position on your shoes? For $35 he'll make sure you're set up for optimum comfort and power on your road bike, whether you're cruising around town or training for El tour. This store specializes in Trek but they service all brands (I have a Cannondale). They have a full-service shop which I haven't tried yet but plan on dropping off my bike for a full tune-up and will update with my review of their service. They recently remodeled and are shifting their merchandise around, but their service is top-notch! read more

All of the staff took Covid very seriously and I think only 5 people were allowed in at a time. I felt very safe. But anyways, about the bike shop... Bruce helped me choose an excellent Trek hybrid bike which was exactly what I was looking for. I took it for a 10 mile ride as soon as I got home and it was such a huge improvement from the 90s Bridgestone I had been riding around town. It has been difficult to find a bike during the pandemic, but I am so pleased with what I found a Broadway Bicycles. Honestly, there wasn't a ton of selection, but that is an issue at every bike shop right now, not unique to Broadway Bikes. However, the bike I ended up with is high quality and will last a long time. I will definitely be back for servicing and gear, eventually my next bike. Fantastic place to rent nice bicycles. We found the prices to be very reasonable given how nice the road bikes are, and the location is very convenient to Mount Lemmon and the Tucson loop. Kudos to Broadway Bikes for being kind and quick on a minor repair DURING an extra busy Christmas season! I thought I needed brake pads. I was going to make an appointment but one of the bike mechanics just took it and put it on stand to look at it. He spent 10-15 minutes adjusting them, saying I didn't need pads. Charge: Nothing. How nice. I've stopped in many a bike shop for a minor fix and it's probably 50/50 on who charges. I bought a bike there last year but that wasn't the one he looked at and he was unaware I've been a customer. They just are good people to deal with. I highly recommend them. read more
