There's never been a line which means I can wait for those adjustments. I have Continental Gatorbacks which are notoriously difficult to change out. I had a race this wknd and decided to hedge my risk after training all winter by having thornless tubes installed last week. The charge was $15/tube and $10 labor per wheel, so $50 total for both tube replacements (totally reasonable). It took barely 15 minutes which was nice and the mechanic shared a few pointers during the process. Unfortunately, one tube came with a bad valve and it "revealed" itself mid-triathlon resulting in my first ever DNF :-/ I brought the bike back the following day and the young gentleman (same guy) confirmed the bad valve. He replaced the tube for free but then said he'd have to charge me another $10 labor. I thought he was joking at first but then he said the boss would likely be on the fence about comping this circumstances entirely so I just paid him the additional $10. Parking can sometimes be a little challenging but otherwise, all things considered, this is a good little shop for quick repairs or adjustments.

Absolutely Outstanding Service & Unmatched Experience…read more From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and taken care of directly by the owner, and the level of attention he gave us was truly top-tier. He was incredibly attentive, interactive, and very specific about matching the bike to my body size, carefully aligning my proportions with the proper frame and tires. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting it right. As first-time bike renters preparing for the largest biking tour in Tucson, we were nervous. We asked for help getting fitted, and they went above and beyond--not just a quick adjustment, but genuine human kindness. They adjusted the seat, watched our posture, and even encouraged us to ride the bike on the side of the shop so they could observe and fine-tune it. They took their time, never rushed us, and made sure we felt confident and comfortable. We rented the bikes for 5 days for only $200 (about $40/day), which is an incredible deal--especially considering other shops in Tucson quoted $100-$200 per day for the same type of bikes. The value is amazing, but honestly, the exceptional service is what makes this place stand out. Phenomenal care, rare to find nowadays. These gentlemen made all the difference in our first cycling experience. Highly recommend!

Dropped it off on a Friday during my lunch with the freehub of my choice and was told they would need to measure spokes and would go from there as far as how long it would take to finish. Called the following Thursday to see how it was going as I haven't been riding because I don't have a spare wheel and they hadn't even looked at it. Almost a full week... the following day they looked at it and had to order spokes which is fine but knowing it took almost a whole week to look at the wheel just to find out it'll take a few more days for spokes to come in sucked. (Meanwhile i have still been without a wheel this entire time and have been riding indoors but that's very different then being on the bike you want to ride!) it's now been two weeks since I initially dropped it off and still have not gotten a call about it being done. I had to go and call them once again to check on it, spokes came in the following Wednesday, called the next day and was told it's not done yet but I'll get a call when it is. It's now Friday evening two days after the spokes arrive and nothing... point being if you are interested in upgrading your bike and love having things done in a timely manner don't come here. They did however lend me a wheel to use in the meantime which is deserving of an extra star.. otherwise barely a 1 star. My main issues... 1- took almost a whole week to even look at the wheel I dropped off. (Just a wheel to measure spokes) 2- seems like there is no rush to get the item done and not considering how long the customer is out a main component on a bike they may love to ride. 3- no initiative to communicate. Had to call multiple times just to understand what point in the job my wheel was in.

Update Jan 2021 I ve…read morebeen looking for a mountain bike shoe that is just right. I think I found a pair of leather Shimanos. They fit my feet but will they go with the kind of pedal set up I have. I ll have to sit on the bike with the shoes on and connect to the pedals. I hope it's good. I m tired of hunting. Hank , the sales guy, was patient, measured my feet in the socks I wear. Thanks And they offer a military discount. All good. Later : Came home and tried the new shoes with My cage pedals. They fit right. Think I'm In the Clear. Later: When you have a Shimano Shoe that will accept step in clips, "but " you won't be using the clips , Shimano has a adapter called a clip cap. I didn't want to call the factory if they are in stock. So not in stock , but he will order for me. They don't have many riders that read the instructions and Warranty. I ll never use step in clips on the Mountain Bike. Just the Road bike. & I ll need new shoes for Road later this year. Another good reason to come back here. Inventory and Service. Thanks Hank!
