My wife and I were looking for new bikes to replace our 20-year old road bikes. From the moment we entered Oro Valley Bicycle, it became obvious this bike dealer is a first-class operation. We were pleasantly and immediately greeted by Margarita. She was super attentive, listened well and made us feel very comfortable. She patiently showed us multiple bike options, adjusted seats for proper fit and let us ride a few bikes in the parking lot. That was an invaluable exercise as the bikes we "thought" we wanted were disappointing. Next Margarita showed us the latest in Specialized lightweight fitness bikes (both road and hybrids) with "Future Shock" front suspension and carbon forks and we were hooked. There was never an ounce of pressure; just the opposite actually. Margarita introduced us to this cool machine that measures the spacing of your sit bones, kind of like an electronic version of an ultrasound that's built into the seat of an electronic bench. This insures proper saddle sizing. After the sale, she followed up and reminded us to bring the bikes in for no-charge adjustments for as long as we own the bikes. Margarita went out of her way to insure our satisfaction. Oro Valley Bicycle on Oracle is our new bike shop for sure. Thanks again for the outstanding customer service Margarita, and for showing us these great Specialized bikes. We love'em.

I've never run into any issues with this bike shop. We have several bikes that we've taken to them for work and one that we bought from them. If you're unfamiliar with cycling, they'll help you get into the basics and start you out on a bike that you're comfortable with. They've got gear, equipment, bikes, maps, snacks, etc. Like every bike shop, there are certain brands that they carry and certain ones they don't; some of the ones they do carry are Specialized, Felt, Scott, Pivot, BH, Raleigh, Diamondback, Co-Motion, Moots, and Animal. Their website also lists local rides/events if you're interested in getting involved in rides locally.

Paul, Chris, Frank and the other wrenches at Oro Valley Bicycle Shop are excellent sources of advice and quick to help.

Don't let the "Pricey" rating fool you, their prices are great but they carry some really great, thus expensive, bikes . . . along with very affordable models. No junk. Bicycle buying is always a pleasure in this shop. Paul, the owner really knows his stuff and it is reflected in the inventory he chooses. Chris and Frank are the two most experienced wrenches (along with Paul). I have never seen them stumped, even when I was. There are two other locations, both similarly attractive. Did I mention that they have an amazing selection of bicycles and accessories!? You will always feel welcome in this shop no matter what your experience level as a bicyclist, even a complete beginner.

Good service, low service prices, good selection of bikes. What more do you need from a bike shop?

The support mechanic couldn't help so I took my bike to Oro Valley bike and they fixed it immediately.

I figured I would also pick up a helmet and shorts while there, but ended up getting so much more thanks to Steven, who went above and beyond! He took the time to properly fit me for my very first bike and walked me through everything I needed to know -- from how to ride more efficiently, to ways to practice, how the gears and tires worked, and even how to clip in (which felt intimidating at first, but he made it approachable and easy to understand). His knowledge and patience really made me feel confident and excited to start riding! He helped me find the perfect helmet and guided me through the uncharted territory of buying cycling shorts - the shop has a great selection of both (and literally every other thing you might need to ride). They also have a nice selection of nutrition and he gave me tips on how to fuel for race day which was super appreciated. Everyone who came through the door was greeted and all seemed to know each other which was a great sign of a strong community. The prices are a bit higher than what I'd seen on Amazon, but the products were far superior in quality and so in my opinion, totally justified. One customer I chatted with mentioned that when you shop there, the service is better than anywhere else, and so based on my experience you get what you pay for so the investment is well worth it. Also, shoutout to their resident shop dog Miska -- total sweetheart and an unexpected highlight of the visit The store has a great selection, welcoming vibe, and an incredibly supportive team. Highly recommend for anyone getting started or leveling up their cycling game!

In spite of Tucson being an international biking Mecca, the city streets here are still very much the wild west. I had gone through life thus far accident-free but was hit head on by another bicyclist a few weeks ago. The Ogre survived but it was time to get stronger brakes and tires. In Tucson, bicyclists need all the help they can get. Fortunately, Sam is the right guy to spec out the right improvements. He installed Growtac mechanical brakes, Gravel King tires, and a new Chris King bottom bracket. I took the Ogre out this morning and the changes made the bike feel new again. I had read glowing reviews about the Growtac mechanical brakes and, indeed, the stopping power is excellent. (I'd put them up against hydraulic brakes.) The tires give me much more traction on the many streets under construction in the city, too. I've always enjoyed bicycles because there is nothing else for me that provides such a sensory hit of adventure and fun. The little things that Sam did on the tune up added up to a dramatic difference that made for a joyful ride this morning. Thank you, sir!

Today I had the Dubai chocolate donut which I enjoyed. The only thing I would have changed about it is that I wish the chocolate top was a less syrupy glaze and more of melted chocolate cover. But that's just a personal preference and I still enjoyed it. I detected a citrusy flavor in the filling. The donut itself wasn't overly sweet which I prefered. I always like visiting here in terms of atmosphere too. They have alternating art from local artists on the walls which is fun to check out. I like their murals too. They also have games and puzzles and also one outdoor table in the front. They have cold water that seemed filtered available on the counter. I love that they do not up-charge for milk alternatives. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
