Really impressed with this local firearms business model... Recommend: Absolutely. Walked in after being stationed here for 8 years and NEVER knew this business was around the corner from Davis Monthan AFB. I was impressed with their remarkable customer interface and met a few that showed you how to use the computer at the front door entrance to search for whatever your interests were. Staff were plentiful, questions got answered and the sheer VOLUME of items to outfit your firearms right down to cases, ballistic proof wearable gear, swag, and cleaning tools and magazines was nice. They did have a LE/Military discount and really zero negatives to note. When my party and I asked a few deeper questions about a couple of subjects to two employees who DIDN'T have the answer, they correctly stated, 'I don't know that answer, let me please inquire with someone who does.' VERY good! That is exactly how you answer a question. Don't B.S. it, go get it. Really appreciated that customer interaction! Highly recommend this business. I just picked up another Ruger today at SNG. I used to shop at what was the best gun shop in AZ, at the time, Jensens's Custom Ammo from the early 1970s until they closed in the late 1990s. SNG reminds me of a smaller version of Jensens's. Large selection, friendly knowledgeable employees and good prices. You won't find the arrogance you find in other places. it seems like every time I go in here looking for something they either don't have it or it's priced higher than pretty much any other retailer in the area. This last experience was about the same. I was looking for an Incog X holster. I was pretty sure they wouldn't have them, and they didn't. I did find a Bravo Concealment holster that I thought might work instead. I bought it, went out to the parking lot and tried it out. I immediately decided I didn't like it so I put it back in the packaging and went back inside. All of the original packaging was there, in tact, and packaged as it came when I left the store. I owned the holster for a whole three minutes before I went back inside. They would only do store credit for the return, which I think is garbage because I had literally just bought it. To me this is a cash grab tactic that forces customers to return instead of just refunding the money. For people looking for guns and accessories I would probably go to The Hub in Tucson before coming here. I will likely not patron this store again. read more

I like that they have a wide selection of items in a fairly small location organised very neatly. The 4473 process is done online so it expedites your buying process when submitting to the department of.public safety. Purchased a firearm and the transaction went smoothly, they do want to complete ATF form 4473 on a laptop which gives me pause because of the risk of sensitive information being leaked out. Going here is always a treat for me and my dad.. we've always enjoyed window shopping and buying our shooting stuff here. If only SNG is not 25 minutes away I'll be here almost every week. I was/am looking for a handgun. I had a fairly serious shoulder injury and have to look at many different types such that I can hold it well and fire it without causing significant pain. These guys are patient and quite knowledgeable. And, unlike another shop, do not ridicule my choice of a .22 caliber. I went in for a light to put on my handgun on November 28 2022. I asked for a product that was on sale and fits my handgun, the cashier gives me a crimson trace 208 and went home. When I arrived home I was excited to open the light and put it on, but the thing was the light was to big. I found out that while looking for holsters online that night. So I go back the SNG tactical the following day with the plan of exchanging for a Streamlight TLR-7. The people were very rude and informed me that I couldn't exchange the product. The shop manager had the excuse that the product was a clearance item and couldn't be exchanged. I had no idea it was an clearance item all I asked for was a product on sale because it was cyber Monday and I thought sng would have deals. I explained this to the manager and he refused to let me exchange the product and pay the difference for the streamlight tlr-7. Now I'm out 100 dollars (yes 100 for a crimson trace 208 which Amazon sells for 50 dollars) and will still have to buy my streamlight tlr-7. Although I will do so somewhere else. read more

They tried to force me to provide my personal information my first visit, the manager allowed to make a purchase without providing. I know I should be grateful... They have a pretty good selection and I planned to buy local to support local businesses during these difficult time. Staff handled my FFL order swiftly despite it being extremely busy at the time. Staff embraced my questions and didn't try to haggle me into buying anything. They more so suggested my attention to items within the range of my existing order, which is a sign of situational awareness as it pertains to retail. Very knowledgeable staff but not arrogant, I keep mentioning staff because 3-5 different staff interfaces with me during my visits there, very helpful. The inventory is always good and they typically have key items I seek in abundance. I am reluctant to even make this post because I don't want vultures flocking this spot lol. Buyers beware. All sales final unless you create a profile (meaning you have to give up name address email phone number). Went in to buy a first responder bag and the cashier told me that I could not return the bag if "anything went wrong" unless I was willing to give up my personal information. Maybe I should be glad it happened, found the same bag online for $12 less. read more

I used SnG Tactical for their FFL transfer system to pickup a handgun I had ordered online. The communication on when the handgun delivered and when I was able to come pick up was spotty and unnecessarily delayed by 3 days hence the 4/5 stars. The actual picking up was seamless and the guy helping me was courteous. Heads up: If using them as FFL transfer, its cash only! I would use them again for transfers. Hopefully next time communication is more thorough when handgun is available for pickup. read more

I have purchased a few items from this nascent Mom & Pop (literally!) store. I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting an owner that will just "shoot the breeze" instead of rushing you through a sale. There have been novices in at the same time as my wife and I and from my observations (and I am a trained Army 'observer') they have been treated with respect and dignity - - - never belittled or made to feel foolish. I went in once looking for a nice little additional CCW-appropriate HC 9mm. When I told the owner the model I had pre-selected based on articles from online mags, he inquired more about my intent. After explaining the hows, wheres and whys he made a suggestion. I ended up with a SWEET Springfield Arms and saved myself about $100. Don't see that everyday. Yeah, their inventory is small, as is the store, but as I said in the beginning, they are brand new. Given their great personal interaction with the customers they WILL GROW. read more
