We recently purchaed a new Jayco Baja. The salesman was very nice; however, the trailer came to us very dirty, slapped together very shabbily, just showers sawdust constantly. The locks on all the compartments were inoperable, the main window shade was broken, no shade on the door, the entry door won't close with the sriker in place without slamming. No battery tie downs, one battery was loose and slid back and forth. We're on our maiden voyage and the clean water tank is now leaking. Camping World should have done a better job of inspecting the products they sell before delivering to customer. Very very very disappointing. Today, the kitchen faucet has revealed a drill hole that sprays water!! Gorilla tape will have to do for now...unbelievable how things keep popping up! read more

This place was AWESOME !! We drove in from Waco, Texas to purchase a travel trailer. Worked with Michael M. And Ms. Stephanie Tan. They had the camper & all the paperwork ready when we arrived. We arrived late. They stayed after hours to make sure everything was right. A most excellent experience. The camper was ready, clean , and filled up with propane ,plugged in for us to view and ready to go. Also, they let us spend the night on their lot and let us plug into their electricity because there was some kind of convention in town and all the RV sites and all the hotels were either full, or charging three times the normal rate. I can't say enough good things about Micheal and Stephanie . If you're looking for a high-quality, excellently maintained RV, this is your spot. Thanks again guys. read more

I have not purchased anything here, but I have been here plenty of times with my daughter. I have had multiple sales team members walk me through the selection of RVs, and they have treated my daughter and me with respect and patience. They never rushed me and never pushed anything onto me. I respect those who showed me all their products, which are close to what I requested. It's hard to find salespeople to take someone seriously and not treat me as a second-class citizen, but I have not had that issue here. I was a little disappointed since my last visit here. They were able to help my husband with tire pressure monitoring for our RV. They appear to have expanded their maintenance products on the shelves, but have greatly reduced the home and decor section. I needed organizers and wall-mounted holders. There is very little to offer. They also eliminated the Good Sam discount. Although they offer a 5% military discount, there is no longer a veteran discount for the Good Sam membership. We drive 50+ miles to get here, so a little frustrating. read more

I'm writing to warn people to never use or go through Camping World especially this Tucson location. The process I have experienced from sales to finance to service has been absolutely horrid. After speaking with the GM during my buying process it was evident to me that he does not care about the quality of sales and ethics of his sales people. He is only there for his bottom dollar and profit. I had to make sure I did all of my homework and research on pricing. Otherwise the sales people will lock you into the highest possible price without a single word or offer of any findings of a sales drop for the exact same make and model. Finance manager started out very friendly and then once the process was completed even after my issues. I decided to cancel the extended warranty now I receive lies about when paperwork was submitted and processed. And then turned into refusal of returning to respond/acknowledge emails or phone calls. Service department is a reflection of the GM and sales department. Although, it's maybe 1 step above. When in person my service advisor is friendly and quick to get answers. communication via email or phone is spotty at best. When she is not in and I work with a different advisor in person or even via phone, I am ignored. They refuse to return phone calls or even answer the phone, especially when they are sitting in front of their desk and computer playing on their cell phone. Multiple times I was ignored and not even acknowledged when I walked to the service department. Of course waiting on parts for repairs is at the discretion of the manufacturer and shipping. That is pretty standard. I have even tried to complete repairs with the Camping World San Diego location and was fed some outrageous line of their appointment process. They said I make an appointment to drop off my rig and it has to stay with them for at least 48 hours for them to submit a warranty claim. What's the point of an appointment then if I have to leave it??? I was finally able to get in touch with the extended warranty company after finding out their contact information and doing some calling around. I was given submitted and processed dates of my cancellation which was 4 months after my original signing of the documents. I repeatedly reached out to the finance manager and she fed me lies. Even in person lied to me about when she would be submitting the forms. absolutely disgusting. I have message in with the GM to receive a call back sometime this week but we know how that works... I'm more than confident he'll be ghosting me now as well. Absolutely disgusted with this company and I absolutely should have walked away before I made the purchase. Tim in service ROCKS! We were on a road trip from California, and our RV started beeping every 30 seconds. Talk about annoying. We pulled into Camping World, and waited until they opened. Once they did, we told Tim about our issue, and he came out and investigated until he found and fixed the problem. Turns out, before this trip, our RV had sat for a while. Because of that, the propane sensor battery had run low, so it started beeping to alert us. But we didn't know what it was or where to reset the sensor. Thank you, Tim for your help! Absolutely unprofessional and shoddy business practices. Purchased a motorhome from them April 18, 2025, they collected over $5000 for sales tax and license. To this date (August 6, 2025) I have not received registration and license plate as they have not paid the tax nor registered with the AZ Motor Vehicle Dept. Finally called Corporate Office as nobody from the Tucson store would return my call. Seth in Mesa office said he would get to the bottom of the issue. To this date has not. I'm a Good Sam life member and have been shopping at Camping World since the 80s. I recently purchased a used travel trailer from the Tucson store, it has the worst experience I've ever had! The walk through was expertly staged, hiding the fact that the water line to the toilet wasn't even hooked up and the refrigerator didn't work on LP. Was told the tires were only a year old and discovered they were mfg in 2017!!!!! They did a quick wash to make it look good under the surface, but I discovered cat urine and cat hair hidden everywhere throughout the trailer. I fixed the refrigerator and toilet. Now the bathroom floor creaks really bad. Buyer beware! After a new couch, tires, toilet and refrigerator repair, I'm finally able to enjoy it. read more

I have called back every day for a status and I have been told my camper hasn't even made it into the shop to be looked at. I made a reservation for an oil change. When I dropped off my RV, I learned this is not like a mechanics shop where the work gets performed within a few hours of my reservation. In fact, the only reason it got done in the same week is due to my frequent calls. I got lame excuses about lack of mechanics. Then, don't take reservations until you get caught up. POOR MANAGEMENT! I also read your reviews. They suck! You have almost twice as many 1's as 5's. In addition, all the replies are one of tree canned responses. No one at CW really cares. Do not and I repeat do not go in here to buy a camper and if you've already bought a camper, do not go to the parts and service department and trust them. I bought a TV mount from camping world a few weeks ago. I gave them the description of my camper trailer type serial number all that they told me the TV mounts that they carry our universal fits for Campers. I was insured that the TV mounts they carry will work. I got the TV mount home to install on my camper. I installed where the mounting sticker is after installing I went into my bathroom and noticed I had screws through my wall after this would not happen and everything would be fine. I called into camping role today. Spoke manager. He told me they would be doing nothing about this because I installed it myself, but if I would've had to bring it to would be their fault regardless of who installed it it would've been the same outcome because of the product they sell they sell in their store. I had an issue with my Keystone trailer with the exterior siding. When I contacted Keystone they told me it was still under warranty and gave me a list of authorized dealers to take it to. Since I bought my trailer from Camping World in Phx and they were great to work with I figured I would go to Camping World in Tucson. They told me they couldn't get me in for two weeks and I was ok with that. I am assigned to work with Matthew Betts in their service department. Before he even looks at my trailer he stats it probably won't be covered under warranty. Which I thought was odd since Keystone had already saw pictures and said it would be. He looked at my trailer and said man I do not know how that panel would of even came off. I said I do when driving down the freeway the wind was so bad it ripped that panel off. Matthew Betts said he was gonna submit the paper work to Keystone. Which was back on April 12th. Two weeks go by and I have not heard from him. So I have emailed him multiple time and my wife has called and texted him. I prefer to do everything through email and not over the phone due to the paper trail. He has not responded to anything. I reach back out to Keystone and they advise me they have not received anything from Camping World about my service ticket. Now I am over a month and still no trailer and I have no clue what is going on. I told Matthew Betts when I dropped off my trailer if they are not gonna honor my warranty my insurance company said due to weather it would be covered under my policy. But now thanks to the lack of communication from Matthew Betts I have no idea what is going on and have already had to cancel multiple trips we had planned. Now I will just wait for my generic response from Camping World on this post and still have no idea what's going on due the lack of communication from Matthew Betts and Camping World just not caring about their clients. My instore experience was amazing, got a lot of information that I either did not know or know already and just reinforced it but it was when I got home that the experience went from 5 star to a 0 if I could have selected such an option. I was trying to buy a travel trailer as I have really bad anxiety according to the wife when it comes to flying with 3 kids under 3. We did some extensive research and found out that we could pull one with our van given we set it up correctly, Frank Martinez was very nice and helpful by telling me instore that the van would not be able to and here are the reasons why but did show us the only 1 option that may work but stressed that we would be risking the transmission on our daily driver if we did that for a yearly trip, so we decided on a family members vehicle that would be able to pull it but we said that is a big IF because in the end it's not our vehicle and theirs. So, we left Camping World with figures to see what we would be working with and told Frank we were just looking now and planning as we still have 3-4 months before our planned trip to decide how we will be traveling because we still did not come to a decision on that. The next 3 days I got blown up by Camping World from Frank Martinez, first call was "Hey nice to have met you, when you're ready or have any questions, here is my info" ok whatever that was expected, the next day "hey we have a random one-day sale and I don't want you to miss out" did you even listen to me in store? You told us the van wouldnt pull it and showed us 1 travel trailer that would work and it hasnt even been 2-4 months yet but only 36 hours so I'm definitely not ready so whats this sale going to do for me then? 3rd day called again, and I blocked the number right away. I was excited when I walked into Camping World but after being pestered in only 72 hours from leaving the store, I am happy to say I have put my dream of RV'ing aside..for now at least, until I find a place that treats me like a person, actually listen and not treat me as a commission sale, I know people have bills to pay but there's ways to talk to someone in closing a sale and that was not it. So if they ask for phone numbers to "check in" or to fill out an "application" don't do it if you are not ready to buy yet, its just so they can annoy you until you either go back in or block them. read more

Camping world In Tucson is the worst place to go. Please don't buy from this company the are full of lies. I purchased a Motor home from them and it's been giving me so much mechanical problems. First of all I bought it back in May 2025 and I haven't received the plates and registration due to Motor home is missing the emission. The day that I was going to buy it they said to give them a week for them to get the emission done. I went to pick up a week later and sales Person Frank Martinez said it was ready to go that the emission was done. After 2 months I gave them a call and email them letting them know I haven't received plates and registration. Finance department told me that the reason why I haven't received the plates and registration is due to motor home missing emission. I mentioned to them that when I purchased it back in May the emission was supposed to have been done. That was a lie no emission was done. Now they are expecting for me to take the motor home to get the emission test done. I'am so disappointed. Camping World in Tucson are full of Sh**t. I regret it big time buying from them. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!We purchased a new generator on Friday May 3rd 2024 on Monday May 6th we contacted the sales representative because after following the sales reps instructions the remote does NOT work also the push start does NOT work. . At the time of purchase the sales representative Carlos told us to add the oil we also purchased from camp world and gas then run the generator for 4 hours then drain the oil and put fresh oil in. We followed those directions exactly as instructed. Today we called camp world to let them know the two main qualities that attracted us to this generator did not work and we were told " As soon as you put oil in the generator it cancelled our ( Camp worlds) liability you have to call the manufacturer. WOW, really? because how would anyone be able to try the push start or the remote without putting oil in it? It has to have oil and gas to even attempt to start the generator!!!!!! HORRIBLE Sales representative, HORRIBLE company. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CAMP WORLD. I saw the LP detector I wanted on the CW website for a competitive price. When I went to buy it at the store, it wasn't available and all the other detectors were at a much higher price. A salesman pointed out a detector that was not the same shape, but the price was reasonable since it was on sale. When I tried to install the detector I was not happy with the look or the fit. When I returned the LP detector, I noticed all the detectors had taken another jump up in price. Looks like another order from Amazon. read more

Well well where do I start with this store? They refuse to give me my deposit back because I decided to pull out of the deal because of family reasons. They still won't refund me and I used my card to put a deposit down. They are stating they won't refund it because of "prep fees" which are NOT listed in the contract anywhere. The only way a deposit would be non refundable is if you're within 48 hours of them telling you that your trailer is ready. We were not notified it was ready, we set a delivery date for a Tuesday, we pulled the plug the Friday before through calls and texts and I went down to the store on Saturday and that's when all of a sudden the trailer is "in the shop" and they won't process the refund! Yes I did go off on Brandon AND Adriana because I had family reasons why we had to pull out and nowhere in the contract did it state we couldn't get a refund for our deposit. We were not within 48 hours, we had 3 days left until our "delivery". Brandon was on his cell phone ignoring me and Adriana wanted nothing to do with the facts and what was NOT in the contract. We even contacted corporate and they said the same thing about "prep fees" which once again is NOT stated in black and white on the contract. I will be pursuing legal action against this store! I highly recommend going to a different store to do business because this store is completely shady and will take your money and come up with all kinds of stories on why you can't get your refund back! I will also be blasting this store everywhere to let everyone know how this store does business! I WILL get my Deposit back one way or another! Do NOT do business here! After multiple attempts to contact the Service Department to no avail. We drove to the store to make an appointment, and to check all systems prior to end of warranty. The service advisor informed us that the Displayed and listed service packages were not available, and that the Service Department was not affiliated with Camping World but were an outside entity. Upon arrival to pick up our RV, during the walk around, we identified items which had not been addressed resulting in the need to leave our unit for additional time to complete the overlooked maintenance items. in the future we will avoid utilizing Camping World. read more

By far the worst repair service experience I have ever had. Camping World had my RV for a total of 60 days during peek camping season for my kiddos and I. In addition to slow service on the oil change and repairs someone backed into my RV with a fork lift. I was not notified until days later and after they had an estimate on the repairs. They notified me by email saying your invoice is ready and unfortunately your rv was hit by a forklift. I had to ask for a discount and the manager gave me $200 off for poor communication (it states that in the invoice). I had an oil change, replaced AC and fridge circuit replacement. Failure to communicate was across the board from service rep to managers. When I was finally able to pick up my rv the forklift damage was not fixed properly, meaning they failed to inspect it before calling me to pick it up. I recently was in the market for a dark water tote for the Rv. Saw one for sale at Camp World. It was posted as $248 reg price/ sale price $193. No requirements or prerequisites listed. It also said buy online or pick up at store. We arrive at Camp World and surprise !! it's not on sale. I see an employee stocking a shelf and walk up but someone beats me to him, no big deal I'll politely wait my turn . when he finishes with the other customer he makes eye contact but abruptly turns and tries to leave without acknowledgment of my need for help. I shout "excuse me sir I have a question". I ask if the item sale price was expired. He answers " are you a good Sam member? because if you're not I can't match the price." I stated that I was not aware of any membership requirements for this sale and showed him the ad. He stated " I can't help you if you're not a good Sam member. He then tried to inquire on my willingness to acquire a membership as I turned and walked away. I walked up to front and asked for help and was told that the person who I was speaking with previously was the store manager . So I guess the place should be named Good Sam or Keep Walking. Probably just another corporate greed tactic to dangle a carrot in front of an employee so they can harass and try to bait and switch customers to reach a bonus for selling memberships. read more

Not recommended at all.. they have bad communication between clientele and within themselves! We had set a finance & pick up appointment for a Friday. We took time off to do this and when we get to the store.. they all think the appt was for a Saturday.. finance wasn't done or ready, the finance guy claimed he called me twice.. I did see one call only and I returned and never heard back... so, no finance was done, the RV wasn't prepared (a 2k dollar charge) to "have it ready for pickup".. so we decided to back out just because of bad service.. We had left a deposit and requested it back from The sales associate. He claimed that they were keeping $1000 of our deposit & this led to a discussion between him and us.. finally, he said that we would have to talk to a finance manager, and will not give us a name of any of them... We returned to the store and spoke to one of them, and they immediately said that we will get a full refund. We finally got a refund and went next-door to La Mesa, RV and we were treated 1 million times better. Don't recommend camping world at all!
