NOPE. Service STINKS. The service advisor, Stephanie Johnson, was very nice, but the place is so chaotic, it doesn't surprise me that she and her leads undoubtedly have difficulties managing their service techs, ensuring they do a proper and professional job. I've never seen a garage so incredibly and embarrassingly messy with parts, tools, and junk strewn all over the place. The higher-ups should be ashamed and motivated to get their facility cleaned up and organized, but it seems they really don't care. I had my 5er in for warranty and insurance repairs. While there, I made the mistake of having them do a multi-point check on all the appliances, slide-outs, vents, fans, lights, etc... basically all the moving parts. When we finally had it delivered to our destination (we have a service move our rig as we opted not to buy a giant truck), the roof vent/fan didn't work. A ceiling light that was out before we brought it in, still wasn't working. Waste of money. Bad decision on my part. After they did the insurance repairs to the back end of the trailer, they installed the shore cord socket in a cock-eyed position. They mounted it so that when I attempted to plug in our shore cord, the cord wasn't able to hang straight down as it's designed to do. I had to remove the socket myself and remount it by spinning it into the proper position. Not a big deal for me, but what moron doesn't take the 3 seconds to ensure a proper re-install? No-Nothing Flunkies. The worst thing was, when the rig was delivered to our destination, several hundred miles away, before they closed everything up, a plastic tray had come loose in the main room and got wedged in-between the kitchen island and the adjacent slide-out. The tray was smashed and the broken pieces were pushed along the floor by the incoming slide-out, ripping a huge gash in the flooring - approximately 1 square foot area. They didn't bother to make sure the areas in which the slide-outs were to come in, were clear of any debris or objects that could cause damage or impede the movement of the slide. I'm sure the plastic tray made a loud cracking sound that alerted the tech to the problem while moving the slide-out in, but no, they obviously heard it, saw what it did and looked the other way. Pathetic. Never again will we use this poorly managed and calamitous "repair" facility. read more

Possibly the best RV repair experience EVER - never thought I'd say that! Whoever installed our auto levelers on our Forest River Class C at the factory must have had a bad day because the hydraulic lines were criss-crossed, so the unit would never level. We were referred to Freedom as they have a lift. We scheduled an appointment and met with Dusty Sharp, the Service Advisor, to discuss the issue. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and really seemed to care. We got a call later that day saying the repair was done and the bill was less than $100!!! Dusty's positive attitude and empathy with our issue really made a difference. If you need RV service, Freedom is the place to go and be sure to ask for Dusty! read more

Buyer Beware, this place will take your money and not stand behind their work. This is a safety notice for those concerned about safety on the road. Freedom RV installed a tow bar incorrectly on my 2005 Monaco, and on the first trip, the tow bar became detached from the RV. The car slapped around the back of the RV, and when I was able to get the rig to a stop, I found out the hitch pin was missing. A hitch pin does not go missing unless the securing pin is not installed or hitch pin breaks which almost never happens. I got a locking hitch pin and made it home with my smashed-up car with no further issues. When I brought up the incident with Freedom RV, they acted like they were completely innocent! This could have killed someone, and they were obstinate that their install was my responsibility to inspect before taking to the road. That is why I paid them $5000 so I would know it was done right. Well it wasn't..... Couple that with they got grease all over and ruined my carpets, they scratched my vehicle while installing the tow plate and somehow managed to make my auto flusher inoperable. Save yourself the grief, do not let these amateurs touch your rig or you will be sorry!!! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Not only will they not do what they need to fix it . But they will have someone call you and be. As rude as he could be with excuses for everything. And when I call the office of Forest River they told me the exact opposite of what the service manager told me about the noise lifting my pop up it was out of adjustment and the service manager told me there is no adjustment. Sounds like you're just hiring people giving them a screwdriver and turning them loose. You can always prove me wrong by fixing it the right way and not give an excuses but I'm ready for more excuses you can call me just don't have that rude ass call me. If I could add a video you all would be horrified by the sound the motor makes lifting the roof and they tell me there's a button at the top that stops it that's nice except when it stops it drops down an inch and when I call Forest River they tell me it's an adjustment problem when I call Forest River they tell me that's just the way they are. That's funny people that can't work on it telling you how it's supposed to work. Like Forest River said they make a manual the mechanic should read it better. read more

I bought a class A in June of 2024. The service I received before the sale was great, but the after-sale experience was terrible. I was overcharged sales tax (my state, South Carolina, has a cap). I was told not to worry and that the matter would be taken care of. After 90 days, nothing had been done about the overcharge, and I had not received the title for my vehicle, which meant I was unable to register it in my state. I was told there was a software glitch and that it would be handled, but after communicating with Freedom RV until mid-November, I have not been able to reach anyone at the company. I have not received a response to any calls, texts, or emails. Needless to say, this has not been a good experience at all. I'm interested to see if I get a call or email after this review. I took my rv in because the electric black tank valve wasn't closing completely. I cycled the valve several times while squirting water at the valve and ultimately blew the fuse. I asked them to replace the fuse and inspect the valve to determine why it wasn't closing completely. They replaced the fuse and told me it was operating properly. I asked them if they had put water in the tank to ensure that the valve was sealing. They had not. Told me they would and I went to pick it up the next day. They told me that the valve was not sealing and there was a large crack in the black tank. I had just emptied the tank before bringing the rv to them and there was no leakage from the black tank so I can only assume that they damaged it when they put the rv on the lift. I asked them to give me the old parts and the only problem with the original valve was there was a piece of debris preventing the gate from closing completely. Obviously they never bothered to inspect the valve as per my original request. To make a long story short(er) what should have been a 2 hour job ended up costing me almost $3,000. Wow is an understatement when talking about their Service Department. I had the now famous Fuzion Crack. I called them in July and got an August appointment for repairs. I was told they had performed this repair on others and it would be about 6 weeks. It took them just over 5 weeks and a majority of that was waiting for parts. They were very prompt at providing updates of where they were in the process. Dusty was really on top of keeping us in the loop. They allowed me to get pictures of the internal frame breaks for my records. Daniel explained exactly how he was going to fix and reinforce the weak areas. I picked it up yesterday and am absolutely pleased with their work. Oh yeah they also fixed all the issues that we discovered in the first 6 months of ownership. I bought my 2017 Fleetwood Strom 34S in August from Freedom RV. I have been Full timing it since. I got lucky, very little problems with it. Some yes, but no the dealer fault. But what I want to warn you about is how little they know about what they are selling. When I asked questions, they would say, you will have to check the manuel on that, I then asked, is there one with the rig? Answer: I don't know maybe with the rig, it's used so I don't know. Wow....was there one, yes in the overhead cabinets. They had not even gone though the coach. They charged a standard charge of $1800. to prep and do anything that needed to be done before they handed over. What did my $1800. pay for ‍. I didn't get a list of work, I was told the water system would be sanitized, put in new batteries, that were dead, fill propane, fill gas tank, and fix any safety hazard issues. When I had an inspector come and inspect the RV, they were very upset, and put my RV on the back burner. The inspector found one issue, a $20 fix. They had it for a month to to what needed to be done, guess what they did nothing, when the part came in, they didn't even put it on right. Had to have it redone a month later. When I picked up my RV it was late in the day, I was happy to get it finally, drove away, spent the night in Tucson , planned on getting home the next day. Gas tank on empty. Upset, but did not want to go back for gas, I wanted to get home. Once home I realized, no propane either, and the batteries were not new. They died after sitting for 3 days. So what did my $1800 pay for 0, zero, zilch, it lined the service department pockets. Don't even get me started about the service department. Not friendly, and did nothing for me. All talk, no action. I would have taken back to them, but I was more than 500 miles away. To there advantage. There was a lot more I wanted to say, but wanted to wait at least 6 months before my review. So as you noticed I still am not happy, but not as mad as I was. Because I got lucky with a nice coach. Nothing they did. I will say Charlie in the service dept. did try as hard as allowed to answer as many questions as I had, even after I got home. I did make appointments to go back, but decided not worth going 500 to a place I don't trust! So I say to you, be careful. Do your homework. I was an easy target and they took advantage of that! During the pandemic, like many others we de used to purchase an RV. We looked at every make and model all over Tucosn and Phoenix for months. We kept gravitating back to the same trailer. I set out to find the make and model at the best price. Freedom RV Was the dealer that sold the trailer we settled on buying. Of course there are none on the lot. So they suggested we place an order and get exactly what we want, colors, options, etc. Great! Expected time......12 weeks. Ugh, but ok maybe it will get here sooner. Well, 12 weeks has now passed and we have not heard from the dealer once! We have called our salesperson on several occasions for updates and do not get a return call. THAT IS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Even if you don't have any information...stay in touch with the customer. Called the GM and he called back with a message that his rep is not calling back (2 weeks ago) but nothing since. So we are at the 3 month mark and still have no clue when to expect our RV. Covid has given everyone the excuse to be non-attentive and rude and I'm sick of it. As long as companies and reps are making money, they don't care about the customer. I'm very disappointed. First I would like to start off saying I did not purchase from this dealer. I found a unit online that I liked so I went to look at it without telling the sales person as I wanted to look at this without the salesman present. I was looking at the 2018 used Rockwood they have on the lot. I really liked this unit has plenty of storage set up nice. Upon inspecting the inside the bathroom door is completely separated from the top of the ceiling!! Major issue. Second upon looking at the outside the axles are out of alignment. HUGO FLORES who handles internet sales when I brought this to his intention said it is sold as is! And I could purchase a service agreement for 1800 dollars and I could get it fixed that way. Wow what a crappy way to do business. I'm the customer and I need to pay to get something on a rv fixed. I also asked HUGO for the owners name so I could talk to him, and he never gave it to me. I'm not sure if the owner knows this is going on but I tend to think he does from some of the bad reviews. The very good reviews I take with a grain of salt as anyone can write one to make them look good. It's to bad HUGO told me what he did, as I probably would have bought this unit from them If they would have taken care of the issues. Also the NADA price they have listed is above the average price another bad business move especially considering the shape of this unit. If I could give negative stars I would. So my wife and I have decided to get an RV and do some traveling. Well, we went to one place and they were high pressure buy now or else so we left. We next went to Freedom RV based on their TV adds. We walked around and a sales person came out and talked to us about what we were doing. Not what we wanted or what we were looking for just what are you doing! Not a god start. We looked at a few RV's and found the prices very high in my opinion! So were were taken to the back lot and showed a great RV that we really liked. He told us they had just taken it in and had to clean it before it would be ready. W said ok and we loved it and wanted it. He said he would call us when it was ready. We went home and waited. After a week and a half we called them and they said it had been sold. They suck! Never going back. They TV adds are BS. Although we got a great deal on our RV we were very happy with. When we took off on the road for days later less than 24 hours into our trip we had no electricity, generator not working, no one able to help or assist you when we called multiple times. We have had major issues finding a reliable, trustworthy service provider for our 40ft Country Coach. Freedom RV was a step up from our first stop in Tucson, but I would never characterize as "Premier" anything from our experiences. They did fix our dash AC, while other shop could not. They did the work, but their charges and add-ons were high, they took too long to complete work, and they could not or were just unwilling to locate and replace our airbags - So, we are now off to a 3rd RV repair shop. We could never reach a person by phone and they never returned a call. They didn't protect our carpets or contents of our RV and after weeks of delays, we got home to find our RV had been totally cleaned out (Linens, cooking pots, lawn chairs, and even the RV toilet paper - ALL gone!). So - despite hopes we may have found a decent RV repair shop, we are now left totally disappointed (again) and there is no recourse for stolen items inside your RV, which their signage clearly notes. Lessons learned- clean out your RV before you take it to this place, don't expect follow up calls, don't expect any quality control and other than the cashier - don't expect any semblance of customer service. We are learning, so our review is an attempt to help others with similar struggles and hopes to locate reliable RV service options in Tucson! Will keep sharing until (or if) we ever do find a trustworthy solution. Good luck if you choose this company. For all new residents of the Tucson area like us, it sucks to have so many disreputable service providers with no regard for their reputation or concern for whether you will ever come back or not. We were interested in buying an RV from Freedom. I didn't even talk to a salesman yet and they ran my credit thru several banks. Solid hits on my credit. Then claimed that it was very difficult getting an approval. I believe they did this to prevent other dealers from being able to get approval so that we would HAVE to deal with them. We purchased a year old class C motor home from the Marana location. The staff was very friendly and not pushy. However they were not very knowledgeable about the RV. They never even realized that there was still a warranty left on the chassis. And since it was COVID times, we specifically asked them to please empty and disinfect the black tank. We realized later, it wasn't done, which was not only gross, but seemed unhealthy. I did not appreciate them stressing we were buying an '' as is'' motor coach. We realized it was a year old, but for the price we paid, they could have taken time to disinfectant it better. All in all, happy with our purchase. I brought it in four times to fix water leak under sink, they installed a new faucet $$ which was not the problem and next trip they installed a new outside water connector there was nothing wrong with. Last time in there was mud tracked all over inside and didn't even bother to clean it up. I would give a 10 star rating if possible. From upper management, to finance, to sales, and service this is the best RV dealership we have had the pleasure of working with. We bought a new 2016 Dutch Star from Hugo and Greg. The quote was better than expected, and we received a fair value for our trade. We had specials completed by the service department that were efficiently completed and perfectly performed. We are extremely picky, and always afraid to leave our RV with service departments. This is not so with Freedom from Brad and Eric to all of the guys they care for the RV as if it were there own, treat us with respect and are always willing to explain things. Purchased a new Keystone Travel Trailer 6 months ago. Sales experience went well but that's where it ended. We have used this trailer 3 times since purchased with major failures each time. The most recent being a break failure on the way home from Colorado. After spending several hours trying to locate someone that could help I was able to get a repair done at a tractor and trailer shop. I called Freedom RV to let them know what was going on and how to have the warranty handle this. No one had an answer. In the interest of getting the trailer home I told Freedom I would pay for what needed to be done and they could reimburse me. I was told to bring the invoice and parts to them and they would see if they could get the cost covered under warranty. As that trailer is just six months old one would think a dealer who wants everyone to believe they stand behind what they sell would reimburse me and deal with the manufacturer to be reimbursed. When I took the trailer to Freedom today it was made very clear that they just sell the product and have no responsibility for any issues, that is up to the manufacturer. When I pointed out that I purchased this trailer from Freedom not the manufacturer it was mad very clear by a general manager who has quite a case of himself that that is not how it works. Also clearly the fact that this trailer has had issues all three time we have used it is of no relevance what so ever to them. In fact when I asked the general manager if this would be acceptable to him if he had purchased it his reply was "Yes, things happen sometimes". As of this review I am out close to $200, the trailer is sitting at Freedom while I wait to hear if the manufacturer is going to authorize additional repairs for damaged axle, breaks and break drum. I realize things happen but when this trailer has never functioned correctly from the start and several of the issues are total neglect on Freedoms part they would be a little more interested in a resolution rather than blaming it on the manufacturer and saying it is not our fault. This purchase has become the most disappointing miserable purchase I have ever made. At this point I am waiting for the manufacturer to decide if they will cover anything? Clearly Freedom and this POS for a GM could not care less. Should the owner Devin Murphy actually decide he does stand behind what he sells I will be happy to amend this review but find myself doubtful after speaking with his staff today. read more

Unfortunately, another scummy sales outfit. I offered to purchase a coach from them, and drove eight hours to see the coach. When I was walking up, the coach was ACTIVELY FLOODING!!! This wasn't their fault, rather a bad ball valve in the bathroom likely stuck in the "open" position. This thing was dripping from every inch of the chassis (I looked in the basement/bay while this was happening) and water was pouring out of every corner, slide point, door, and every inch of this coach. What ticks me off is that THEY HAVE RE-LISTED THIS COACH FOR SALE!! Yes -- that's right. They flooded a coach in their own parking lot, temporarily removed the listing, but have now re-listed it. Please tell me just how "honest" you think they'll be when they sell you this "as-is-where-is" coach for sale??? Well... like I said, we drove 8 hours to see this coach, and since I wasn't going to purchase a flooded coach (and all the problems it will have down the road due to the flooding), they asked me to visit their other lot to see what if I would be interested in anything else. I told them that we just lost our home (we full time in a RV) due to a fire, and we have four children, and everything we own fits in the back of our minivan. I mentioned this in the hopes that they would possibly try to put away their need for greed and be kind and only try to sell me something that was a good deal, or a solid coach. Unfortunately, the moment I arrived at the other lot I was immediately shown an OLD coach with a book value of $12,000 that they listed for close to $80,000... and it had HORRIBLE sidewall damage inside and delamination due to extensive water damage on the outside, in addition to a number of other problems. The sales guy even went out to get a more aggressive sales guy to try to close the sale. I pointed out all the delamination and wall damage on the interior and he simply paused for a half second and then beat on the ceiling with his open palm while stating, "These things are built to last... top of the line!!" What in the world was that??? I mean... I'm an adult. I'm standing RIGHT THERE, and you're trying to toss me a shiny object in the form of a statement thinking that I'm going to IGNORE all that damage??? Seriously? He then tried starting up all sorts of other things (engine, generator, AC units, etc.,) in an effort to quickly turn the conversation AWAY from the obvious damage but I just stopped him and let him know it was a "deal breaker" for me. We walked away and instead of taking us back to the entrance they took my family off to the side (in a golf cart -- I was walking) to see a different coach... an old, tired, Pace Arrow GAS coach (we were interested in diesel pushers)... and this Pace Arrow was missing a lot of things, and the AC wouldn't even work. I kept putting my hand up to feel the AC blowing out of the vents... but it just went from warm to warm and even warmer. I checked the AC over at least seven minutes of time... and that 'high powered' sales guy came back to lend support to the first sales guy, and he must have seen me holding my hand up to the AC vent, and he made the comment, "Oh... these ACs are GREAT -- ICE COLD -- they just take a few moments to get started." HAHAHAHAHA... that is the biggest line of B.S. I heard that day. But seriously -- what kind of respect do you think I have for a company, with MULTIPLE EMPLOYEES FROM MULTIPLE LOCATIONS trying to SCAM a family that they KNOW has JUST LOST EVERYTHING TO A FIRE!???! This is not a one-off thing. This is the way they do business. The fact that they waited a month and are NOW re-posting the original coach I was looking at -- the one THAT FLOODED -- is proof that they are scumming and will sell you ANYTHING to make a buck. They do NOT care about people, they do NOT care if they sell you a lemon. They're selling you as-is-where-is coaches and RVs for a REASON. What a shame, as the original guy I talked to seemed to be very nice... but you just can't trust them. Beware folks. Beware. (I even asked them for a CARFAX on the RV... and they went on and on about how the RV industry isn't connected to CARFAX and the info isn't good -- so I pulled one myself, and found out it was an auction RV. Just ask Camping World, LazyDays, and other big dealers -- they send things to the auction block that have delamination, rotting floors, soft floors and walls, and any other problem that is deemed too costly to fix. While on a roadtrip from San Diego, the overhead storage compartment fell down on us. And the next day, the macerator stopped working. I was referred to this place by Roadtrek, and I admit to being skeptical at first, due to their Yelp review. However, the service I received from Stephanie, Jeremy, and Eric was absolutely first-class in both courtesy and competence - they even showed the same professionalism towards our Poodles.
