We purchased a Leisure Unity yesterday. Our experience was sterling. We worked remotely with Dave and his manager Eric to put the transaction together. We negotiated purchase terms remotely on a Tuesday, flew in Wednesday evening and drove our new to us RV back to CA on Thursday. Zack, the tech who walked us through all the RV systems and Leslie the finance person who processed our paperwork were courteous, knowledgeable and thorough, Well done. Also your staff would not ID the business owner and I could not find the business license anywhere on the properties. I asked to speak with a Dealer gen manager and the just left me on hold. AGAIN FOLKS they still will not take my calls nor pass me to any manager or GENERAL MANAGEMENT. They all hid from me and I could make a list but I see that YELP is now allowing these guys to even change the name of the business to avoid direct bad reviews. The response to my post is unreasonable and disappointing, which is not surprising from this dealership as I stated in the previous post the problem is from management down. Reaching out to you at a customer service email is not professional. In addition requesting that I send an email to customer with the purchaser's name, RV VIN, and purchase date, is not customer service you should already have and know that information about me and what I purchased. I think that the email is a way of you getting around your failures and doing nothing. On a side note, my kids purchased a new 43' fifth wheel this weekend from a different dealer and had very pleasant experience. Word of mouth is a great way to bring in new sales and customers, not so much in your case. The parts were Not there we were told it would take another day. We said you said you had the parts and we were good to go. The service manager said well take it someplace else. This guy should loose his job. That is unacceptable. I have been in management and that is Not something you tell a customer.period So I went back and they said it was fixed. They had replaced my ducted air conditioner with a non ducted and just taped off the ducts. The bedrooms would Not have any air. This was put on our warranty insurance. That makes it insurance fraud. I complained to the service manager and he put on a similar unit to the one that was taken off / duct and complete. But they did use the old inside plate instead of a new one. I will be calling the extended warranty insurance to let them know. As a side note when I called the corporate to complain. The girl Christian acted like I was bothering her and said I needed to complain to the service manager and I told her that is who I am complaining about. She acted like it wasn't her job. WORST service and parts department I have ever delt with. Unfortunately, we purchased from them and have to go there often for warranty and other service. So, this review is after many encounters with them. Appointments are useless. Our rig isn't even looked at for days to a week later. Neither service or parts return calls. They don't order parts until you've called to check on them, then they don't call to let you know they are in. Service passes the buck to parts and vice versa, then the both drop the ball. I will be telling everyone in our RV community how awful La Mesa is. read more

needed a w/strip for the slide on my 2005 Winnebago. They are a "certified"Winnebago dealer. Drove up there from Benson and talked to Robert in parts, taking a piece of the w/strip. none in stock-said he would order it the next day and let me know. never heard from him. called in 4 days and got "give me a few moments and I'll call you back". As a new RV owner, I went to La Mesa RV in Tucson, AZ for some Expert Advice. What I got was the wrong advice that could have cost me 4000.00. i feel they wanted to Rip Me Off!!! I did not need the work they had told me I needed. I was told the braking system on my car newly bought car, an INVISIBRAKE, would not work with my rig. They wanted me to buy and have them install thier proprietary brake system. I called two other Credible RV shops and invisibrake as soon as I left and discovered I was being ripped off in the worst way. I will never step foot in a La Mesa RV property ever again. Oh and I was told my Roadmaster towing hookupsworld be better with a more expensive Blue Ox tow hitch system. read more

Purchased a used Entegra class c in December. Chris Johns was our salesman. Thank goodness for him. He has great integrity and cares about his customers. Unfortunately, he does not always get complete cooperation from the staff at the dealership. He does try his best, where he has pull. There were a few issues and asked that they be repaired. A major one was alignment a weird wear on tire. Mercedes repaired the alignment issues and replaced front tires. Great. We made this all conditional on final purchase. However, the list of other issues that were to be done by the dealer were completely ignored. A SOS light was on, navigation did not work, Sirius radio did not work...all related. It should have been fixed at Mercedes (under warranty,) if service department was paying attention. we said something was wrong with the jacks, they did not fix. It goes on and on. Delivery was delayed and we had to head back to Maryland before weather hit. We should have stayed parked in their lot until they got it all done, but we probably would still be there, weeks later. THey had some sort of shake up in finance and elsewhere, and our payoff wasn't sent in a timely manner. We spoke to AJ who is apparently in charged, and he just rattled off some BS that it takes 45 days. I said our contract shows a 15 day payoff. He said well, you will just have to make the payment. This is about the 14th RV we have purchased over the years and 3rd with LA Mesa RV. This AJ guy is clueless. Finally, Chris Johns helped us get in touch with the correct people and payoff was being made accordingly. La Mesa has always been a good company, we purchased our 1st rv from them in the early 80's and another in 2020. Not sure what has happened since. If it wasn't for Chris Johns, we would say stay clear. But Chris Jones stands by his customers and works hard, long after the sale. read more

We purchased a 5th wheel from them 3 months ago. Not all of the slides work. We brought it in to be fixed, and they have had it for a month, and the RV is still not fixed. Whenever we call, we get excuses and the runaround. I would not recommend this dealership for buying an RV. We got scammed. read more

we went into La Mesa May 2025, we the salesman that we were possibly interested in trading in our 2018 Winnebago. We advised him that there was some damage to the back of the RV. We told him what the extent of the damage was, they insisted that it was no problem. They would just have it repaired and bring it on in trade in. In fact, they even gave us a trade-in value even before looking at it. they asked on a scale of one to 10 what condition the RV was in, my husband told them he would rate it a nine aside from the fact of the damage on the rear of the unit. The salesman, who we had absolutely no problem with, showed us a Mercedes sprinter. It looked to be perfect for our needs. there was a few things on the sprinter that needed attention, the rear tires were not acceptable. There wasn't that much tread left on them, so we wanted replaced. There was a cabinet knob missing so they ordered one of those. The generator wouldn't fire up when the salesman try to, he said no problem. That'll be working by the time we pick it up. The next day we brought our RV in for the trade-in. they proceeded to do the walk-through on the Mercedes to show us how everything worked. However, the tires were not replaced. The generator still was not working. The cabinets in the unit were dirty. It obviously was not detailed like it should have been, then they proceeded to tell us we needed to pay an extra $10,000 because the damage to our RV was more than they anticipated. so much of what they did was ass backwards. they were so eager to get a deal signed whereas they should've waited until we brought our unit in for the trade-in so they could themselves before they gave us a value on our unit. They should not have even shown us everything worked in the Mercedes until we knew this was gonna be a done deal with all the negotiations. They said that they took the Mercedes into their shop for the mechanics to make sure everything worked properly and they said it was in good working condition. Wrong! The generator wouldn't kick on when the showed it to us and the rear tires were not replaced. We ended up down to an additional 5000 out of our pocket and we had to replace the tires and we had to get the generator fixed. This was a huge ordeal when it really didn't need to be. We will never recommend La Mesa RV to anyone! read more

This is our fourth RV purchase and our second purchase from LaMesa RV (our trade in was from Quartzsite AZ and this purchase from Tucson AZ). We have also had work done at the La Mesa in Sanford FL. We are repeat buyers and customers with La Mesa for the simple reason that the level of service is BAR NONE! This particular purchase from La Mesa Tucson was unexpected. We went to their RV show at the Pima Co Fairgrounds just to see it and spend a day out. We were very happy with our Winnebago, and found it's only fault was it was a gas coach. We found a diesel coach and Greg in sales meticulously showed it off to us. We were given numbers and decided a trade wasn't necessary and left the show. We thought about it that night and came up with max numbers we could make work and returned the next day. Although the numbers weren't quite where we wanted, it was still a good purchase. Tony walked us through the process for the days to come. The next day, Ian the manager made financing happen and kept us in the loop. Leslie in financing assisted us with a warranty, matching the price of the warranty we had on our other coach. Zach gave us our orientation and walked us through every aspect of the rig, answering our many questions and assisting us with getting the coach to techs for small repairs on our due bill. Eric was also available to answer questions. Robert, Carlos, and Scott worked diligently to get our coach in near perfect shape. John had previously given Cindy a driving lesson to feel comfortable with a 40' coach. We will 100% recommend the amazing La Mesa Tucson team to anyone looking for a new or used RV. Do NOT bring your RV here for service. As others have said...LIES. They kick the can down the road for weeks, and blame it on warranty companies, parts, etc. I took my RV in with 6 weeks to go before a big trip. Figured it may take them 2-3 weeks to get it done which I was fine with but built in extra time just in case. Fixed some things but it sat for about 5 of those weeks with nothing done. The water heater had a bad element. They replaced it. I had to bug them down to the DAY BEFORE I was leaving on my trip (six weeks after when it was going to take 2-3 weeks). I get to my camp and water heater leaked. Damaged the floor, and made the trip very uncomfortable. Brought it back to them with about 3 weeks notice before my next trip, and they said they would get right on it since they screwed it up. It stayed there for the entire 3 weeks and was met with lies after lies about warranty company response (which was NOT a warranty issue because it was not leaking when I brought it first time) and their parts department having trouble finding parts. So the VERY LAST day before the trip we finally get it back, with nothing done but a "temporary fix" using their words...to keep it from leaking so we could use it while they wait for "parts" (still never said what was wrong, and remember, it wasn't leaking when it was broken originally). Got it home and not 20 minutes after being home....IT STARTS LEAKING. This has screwed yet another trip, and will likely screw the next trip because of the holidays and trying to find someone competent to fix it. I truly believe that both times we had this in for service, the coach sat there the entire time and they jump on it the day before I need it. This place you need to stay far, far away from. read more

SERVICE Department: I have brought my new RV in five times in the first year due to a number of warranty-covered problems (on one of our first trips to The Badlands in South Dakota from Tucson, the navigator took us down a rough19-mile dirt road just before we arrived - my guess is that caused a lot of the problems, as this is our fourth RV, and we only had minor issues with the other RVs); my contact was Steve M., and he was great. He made a point to listen to my issues as best I could diagnose them. In some cases, I was right, in others (e.g., leaking potable water tank), I was wrong. In other cases, I had no idea what was wrong - for example, the leaky shower was the result of the drain-pipe (which see couldn't see ourselves) being cracked. Regardless, once diagnosed, he explained what the problem was, and the subsequent repairs by the Service Department were timely and effective. Steve also verified that the repairs were complete. I highly recommend the La Mesa Service Department if you have an RV issue. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!! What should have been a purchase of a lifetime has turned into a terrible taste in my mouth and a whole lot of anger and disappointment. Had I only read reviews first!!! The salesman was great, the guys at the top directing their employees SUCK! I bought an RV on my visit to Tucson. Had to arrange the financing so scheduled a trip back the next week. Inspections on the vehicle were not done prior to my pickup. I was there ALL day for them to do the inspection, found out that the batteries were the problem. They literally asked me if I wanted to sleep in the RV in their lot cuz it had to be plugged in all weekend. They literally had to pay for me to stay in a cabin at the KOA. On Monday morn, they said it wouldn't be ready till after noon. I finally got out of the dealership around 2:30 AFTER I had to remind them that they hadn't fixed the exterior scratches nor had they topped off the fuels .It was a long 5 hour drive home, thru Phoenix traffic. The next day, it became obvious that they had NOT detailed the interior of the vehicle as was promised. One of drawer slides is broken. Unless I was willing to spend a day of my life driving back down to the dealership, they were not willing to pay for me to get it detailed here at home. read more

We purchased an RV at La Mesa Rv less than a month ago. Sales and finance were a nightmare to work with. Super unprofessional. We took our rv out for the first time last weekend and we ran the bathroom sink and water started coming out from under the bathroom door. We called John our salesman and he said since we didn't purchase all their bs insurance they will do nothing about it. They are definitely scammers, I would never recommend them. Took my Toyhauler in for repair estimate. Initially the customer service was great with communication. The estimate was delayed due to customer work being needed. After about four months with no update, I found myself being ghosted by the estimator. Took two calls to the manager to get a call back. I was told they couldn't handle the repairs due to the job being too big and couldn't complete the estimate due to lack of resources. Manager had no response on why I was ghosted nor why it took them four months to tell me they couldn't even do the repairs. This was unacceptable in my book. read more

I took my RV in and ask them to check the propane tank, the regulator was covered under my extended warranty. I asked them to do a oil change which I paid $250 plus $64 for paper towels insane! And the real problem which was my sewer hose was stolen, in 30 days they could not even get the part ordered much less repair it. Went to camping world within an hour had the part ordered scheduled for 2 weeks to have it installed. Wasted 30 days at La Mesa with Michael, who wouldn't call me back then lied when he did call me back and kept putting me off because he had new sales. I waited two weeks for that appointment and they had my RV for 30 days. Don't waste your time and money here. They charge $196 an hour cost me $64 to have my battery replaced in my fob which was a $4 part. Scam! read more

We had a great experience with them right up until we went to leave with our new to us Verona. Jose and his daughter and Leslie and everyone else we dealt with through the whole process was great, even when we had a family emergency that kept pushing back the pickup date on the coach. They were all very understanding and very nice about having to keep waiting on us to come (We drove from PA) I have absolutely zero complaints about any of them EXCEPT the one service guy (don't remember his name) that was supposed to help us with the flat tow hookup of our jeep, which we had driven from PA. Which they knew was needed. I'm pissed about it and so was my husband bc we were on a tight schedule to get home to PA. I seriously think it was because it was Friday end of day and he was too worried about leaving for the day and didn't want to do it. It's not completely our fault that they scheduled us later in the day. And that complaint doesn't include the guy at the parts desk that unfortunately didn't have the extra connection we needed but told us where to go get in 5 minutes and we went to get it but then the we got the jackass that didn't want to hook it up for us. I really don't think it's that big of a deal to do but he just didn't want to bother on a Friday afternoon. read more

Absolute joke of a company constantly scams its customers with false things watched a tech one time spray black paint all over the rust on the bottom of a coach so the customer wouldnt know and it could be sold, has some very shady advisors That tell techs the work is approved and talked to the customer but never did the coaches are almost always broken if not broken they stole parts out of it to get a other one sold the techs constantly half ass fix shit and then say its fixed for the customer to come back with the same problem that we charged them thousands of dollars because it was "fixed" And thats just a little of what i had seen. read more

Purchased brand new RV and spent the next 18 months in and out of the repair shop. I was told repair s were completed and they were not . Some were completed but what ever they did, did not fix the problem. Traded it in on another more expensive RV and was told I would not have any problems because it was a better quality RV. Turned out to be another lie. Same issue as before. RV was thorn together with no quality control. La Mesa can't be trusted. Shame on me for giving them a second chance. read more

La Mesa has decent prices, so we bought a 2024 Quantum Class C from them. Chris in Sales was great to work with, and very fair. Since the RV was new, it had a few minor things that needed to be fixed. For those new to RVing, this is normal. It's not the dealer- it's the manufacturersacturers with their Quality Control (or sometimes lack thereof), and usually not found until the first 'shake out' trip. On the whole, it was in great shape- but Service has been beyond exceptional. Michael Guevara is the Service Advisor. He has kept us up to date, told us we can call him anytime and he asks that we let him know about anything we need. Nothing but great reviews for La Mesa, and we've had about a dozen RVs in our many years of RVing. These guys are great- from the sale to the service! Thanks to all of you!! read more

Purchased a brand new 2025 class C in January 2025 and everything flowed well and salesman and his boss were great. Flew in to pick up the coach and again smiling faces. Gentleman that explained the inner working of the new RV was very nice, but rushed. Still, I felt fine. As we finished the inside review, found a latch that is missing on bathroom door and one of the kitchen storage doors is warped. Apologies given and told they would be ordered and sent to me as I had a 10 hour drive to get home. Got home and went to winterize the coach, and didn't work. Called the number the fellow who showed me how to use the coach gave me (private cell of his) no answer so left message and text as I was directed. No answer tried couple more times, nothing. Tried my salesman multiple time.....no answer or reply to message. After phone tree, I did speak with nice guy from repairs who confirmed there is an issue with the pump/system and I need to take it to dealership 90 minutes away. Then I get a call telling me they won't send the door because it is a warranty and I cannot be trusted to take off and then replace 8 screws in hinges. I try to get assistance from salesman again, nope..no answer. At his point it is becoming obvious they are happy to take your money, but that is when the friendly good service ends. read more

Promises.... promises I write very few negative reviews as I always want to give the biz the benefit of the doubt. If the sales process was anything like what I hoped the delivery and post sales process would be like we would have a long standing relationship. Unfortunately, delivery and post sales is where they drop the ball. We identified a series of issues on delivery day, which ranges from tank water leaks, door molding coming apart, broken propane cover, and just learning the new RV. We were assigned a personal tech who they said we could call anytime and would help us with the new rig. Well, the water seemed to keep leaking as the water pump wouldn't stop intermittent pumping, the door repair fell apart within a couple of days, and we could not get anyone to answer or respond to our calls for about a week. At which point, they said bring the rig in and they will take care of the issues. Even their corporate helpline is closed Sundays. So much for testing out the rig on a weekend. After a few days in the shop I was called to come pick up. The door molding appeared to be secured, however the water pump continued it's intermittent pumping. After having more techs observe the issue, they needed to go back to square one. At this point all I wanted was the rig fixed so we could enjoy our new $100k purchase. A few more days and the issue was resolved. As I sat in the waiting room where I had spent many hours with no updates and observed a sign with the hourly rate they charge. I believe it was upwards of $130 an hour. I would expect professional troubleshooting, precise diagnosis, and timely repair. None of the above. After promises to call me and replace a damaged propane outlet door when it arrives, as you can imagine, it has been months since that promise and just crickets. Don't be fooled by the VIP treatment when you arrive to look around. As this does not continue once you hand over the check. read more
