In the process, he dropped a power tool on my $10,000 Air Conditioning condenser unit. He knew full well that he damaged the unit but didn't even have the decency to tell me that he did it. I only discovered the damage when my AC technician came out to do annual maintenance on my system. I then checked my security cameras and saw the recording in which Owen carelessly dropped a power tool on my unit. It took more than 6 months for Owen to pay me for the repair of the unit. He insisted that I use his contractor when I clearly preferred to use the company that installed and services my AC system. Ultimately, he only paid me half of what my installer charged to repair the damage. This too only after I submitted a fraud claim to the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and with the State Department of Labour and Industry. This business is run by an unscrupulous scumbag devoid of ethics. Avoid at all cost.

A few days later he called back not with an estimate but to say he "was interested" in doing the work, so now he would have to come back and take some measurements to actually estimate. Second time came out, took measurements, realized initial hacky solution wouldn't work and left again, with no call back heard from agent he was not interested in the job. This is not how you do customer service. You are busy, you don't want to do the work, fine, but don't leave a customer hanging, and don't take multiple trips wasting customer's time to come to this conclusion.

They already have claims against their bond and their contractor license is already suspended as of this date ( https://secure.lni.wa.gov/verify/Detail.aspx?UBI=605256308&LIC=ADAMSC3761CG&SAW= ), so maybe this review is unnecessary; but I think it's worth documenting in case they somehow get back into business. I had them put a new membrane roof on our garage in late spring 2024. By December 2024, I had multiple extensive water leaks into the garage. I contacted them for repair; they said I'd have to wait for warmer, drier weather, so I spread tarps on the roof and waited. In April/May of 2025, I contacted them to remind them we were waiting for repairs under their warranty. I kept getting the runaround, and by the start of July, after repeated attempts to get a commitment for a date of repairs (no matter how far out) and getting only excuses instead, I gave up and hired another contractor so I could have a proper roof before the rainy season started again. The new contractor said Adams failed to properly seal the joints of the membrane, and that's why it was leaking so bad. So unless you want a contractor who will do a bad job and then never return to fix it, don't hire this company.
