Jose from Rite Cost Plumbing has been to my home several times in the past few weeks. He first repaired a pipe leak under the slab of my house. Today he installed a new box in the wall behind our washer that contains the water valves to feed the washer. If I could give them zero stars I would. They were sent by our home warranty company due to a leak in the ceiling. He was rude when he came to evaluate the pipe. Made of mess leaving water all over the floor and left it. Then once insurance had been processed they no-called and no-showed 2 times. They also didn't return calls until we called the warranty and they intervened. The pipe was not fixed correctly and is leaking AGAIN. We have called and texted multiple times and the home warranty has also called numerous times but has yet to hear back. WHATEVER YOU DO FIND ANOTHER COMPANY! Big Time-Little Time. Yes, my family and I had the pleasure of working with Jose and his business, Rite Cost Plumbing. We had some broken pipe issues and he was sent out immediately by the insurance company. Jose assessed the situation and found the problem and gave us several recommendations and options to fix the problems. We went with the whole house being repiped with quality parts as the house was older and needed upgrade. Jose and his team took the job seriously and were always polite and courteous to all family members and the dog. We were staying at a hotel during home repairs and Jose and his team were always good about cleaning up and locking up the home as they worked late into the night to get the job done. looking at the rest of these reviews....I am shocked and not at the same time. Our home warranty company sent Jose out and he was super nice and accommodating while here. As soon as he left he failed to update our claim to take necessary steps and 3 days later no word. I call him and he asks me to call him back in 5 in so he can check on update ...just so he could then not take anymore of my calls. The warranty company called and he answered and told them he would update it right away and 3 hours later and he still hasn't updated anything. Dude....if you are going to be like this specifically when working with home warranties WHY BOTHER?!!!!!! This guy Jose is a crook at best. He was dispatched by our warranty company to repair a plumbing leak and we have to prepay him directly for the copay, (just like health insurance or a deductible as in car/home insurance). He showed up and instead of attending to the leak problem from the toilet tank which is what we paid him for, he helped himself to find faults with other plumbing fixtures, in other words he is trying to create more works for his owned company. He stated he will check with warranty company for the part approval and will come again to fix the plumbing leak once he has the part approved. Of course, he never showed up. These rampant crooks usually operate under the shelter of home warranty companies. They are no name/no brand service companies or individuals, typically no physical address, just one phone no. or email for rescheduling or cancellation. They could be LLC's but that is BS. They will pick up jobs from warranty companies, please GOOGLE SEARCH them and if in doubt reschedule for other service providers. Once prepaid by CC, they do not need to show up or they will show up just to collect your free check or cash and give you BS that they do NOT have the part and will come back with the right part and of course, you know the rest of the story.
