Augh! So the cashiers really made a big deal that I went to exchange some baby formula within 10 minutes of buying it. I got home and the formula had already been opened, both seals were broken, so I went back to let them know and exchange it. The lady at the counter was like I talked to my manager and he said that I'll change it this one time but next time it's not going to happen! I was like WHAT?! Like how are you going to tell me I can't exchange something that was clearly opened by someone else. She said to make sure that I open up the formula and check! Like it makes no sense for me to open and break the seal. Isn't it their job to ensure that all their merchandise are closed and seal before selling it??? I was annoying and disappointed! read more

Horrible customer service... It's like they're trying to hand off issues instead of resolving them. I ordered prints and got an email confirmation as well as a pick-up date. Before heading out to pick them up, i checked my account online to verify they were ready for pick-up. When I got to the store, first they said they already gave them to someone who came in earlier that day. Then they said their printer was down, so I'd just have to go to my online account and redirect it to print at another store. Luckily, I had my trusty iPhone and immediately tried to do that. Turns out, you can't because the order's already 'printed' and 'ready for pick-up'. I show the manager and she says I have to called photo support hotline. I call 1-800-RITE-AID on the spot and after 15 minutes of holding and talking to tech support, he tells me the store has to call their internal tech support hotline and have the order transferred to another store. I ask the manager and she calls and gets my orders "redirected" to a nearby store. She provides me with the new order numbers and tells me they should be already printing at the other store and would be ready for pick-up in about 30 minutes. I GPS my way to the Rite Aid on Concar Drive off the Delaware exit of Highway 92 and when I arrive, the photo center said they received no such order in their system. The order number I was given could not be found and on top of that, my old order had disappeared. I ended up having to reorder the prints from my iPhone to this other store and they printed them there. 2 stars and not 1 because the workers at this store are friendly and helpful, but the management is new and a failure... if you don't know what to do, find out and give the right answer to the customer instead of pawning them off to a sister branch. When the second Rite Aid I went to tried to contact this store to figure out a solution, they were told by this store that I was now store 2's customer and that I should be taken care of by store 2! Way to take responsibility... SMH, yo. Thank goodness for smart phones... I can't imagine how many times a customer without one would have to drive back and forth to get their pictures. Basically, every solution this store's management provided me was incorrect. Beware! read more

The return policy at this store is horrible. If you are missing your receipt, they will only issue you a store credit at half the price of the item you are returning. The manager, Jessica, will tell you all about how it isn't her policy and how she cannot override it. I've been a loyal customer for years, but am going to give my busy to a store with better customer service. read more

I pop into this store occasionally if I am in Laurelwood and it has always been unremarkable. Unremarkable is fine for a drug store but when I stopped in last weekend it was BAD. I stopped in to purchase a couple of cosmetic items and a bag of candy for the office. I had my things in my hands and as I approached the register a woman with a shopping cart that was overflowing and piled high was just stepping up. Ugh. I stood there for a few minutes and the cashier let me know that I should bring my items to the pharmacy and they would check me out. I walked back there and remembered that I needed a medication that was OTC but you have to ask the pharmacist for it, so I thought this was well timed. I stood at the counter at the pharmacy and after a few minutes the pharmacist noticed me and said "are you here for a pick up?". She was clearly busy and rushed and when I explained that the cashier sent me back there and also that I needed some medication she just stood there for a minute... she was in SHOCK that she might have to ring me up. I asked questions about the medication I wanted and she was so annoyed with me she didn't answer any questions and pointed to a shelf behind the counter and said "which one?". Seriously? Another customer was now waiting behind me so I just picked something quickly so she could ring me up. She does so, I pay, (my 2 nail polishes, 1 lipstick, and 2 bags of candy are sitting on the counter), and I waited for her to come back with a bag. After a few minutes she did walk back and just looked at me like "what do you want" , and I said um may I please have a bag? She got totally snippy and said oh what? you're ok with the 25 cents? Umm.." I was like OMG get me out of the place so I said forget it and threw all this stuff into purse and basically stomped out. I hesitate to imagine how it might have gone if I had been picking up a prescription and had questions. This is not someone I would EVER trust to take the time to listen and answer questions about medication or anything else. read more

Becky at the Pharmacy is the one to see there. She hooked up my med quick and explained everything well. Be sure to see her when filing prescriptions. She takes great pride in her work. Will definitely be back! read more

Comparable to the Walgreens in Burlingame. It's better kept but still old and dead. Forget Rite Aid. Just go to Target!

I grew-up with "Thrifty's" and of course Thrifty's ice cream. Great to see these still around even though they are "Rite Aid" now. A great place to stop-in for those little things you might need and not want to go to a big supermarket or specialty store. This one is close to work, so it works well! read more

I hadn't been to this Rite-Aid since they remodeled, but I came in last night to avoid the cold and was so impressed with the update! I'm typically a CVS fan (COUPONS) but this Rite Aid is a great competitor with clean aisles and a great selection! read more

The new remodeling is wonderful! Place is super clean and has tons of products. The pharmacy has hard-working and polite staff - they've gone beyond the call of duty to call different doctors and offices for me and always gotten anything I ordered as quick as they could. read more

I love this place, it's by far the quickest, most efficient pharmacy I've been to in the area!! and they always know who I am, gives you that small town feeling read more

I've been going to this rite aid for a good 6 months now and the workers, especially the pharmacist, have been nothing but the best g*damn rite aid crew I've ever encountered. Maybe it's cuz it's a small store but them figgaz got it held down tight. Come here for your meds and munchies! Can't comment on the brew, haven't dabbled in it here but it's a possibility. read more

Great improvements in the store. They have cleaned this location up and it has made a difference.

So persistent in reminding you to refill your prescription! It's "almost" annoying! =) I will recommend this establishment for all of the forgetful people to refill their prescription drugs! read more

Great convenient location. The women working in the pharmacy are absolutely wonderful. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I know I am in good hands when dealing with them. Store is clean and easy to navigate. read more

Fast service, they even call you if they don't have your prescription in stock and let you know when it will be available. Very helpful and knowledgeable regarding prescription instructions and possible side effects. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about this pharmacy. i had given up hope after going to so many other places that were awful (Long's, Walgreens), I just assumed that all pharmacies were places of incompetency. But not (this) Rite-Aid. They always have my (simple/common) prescriptions in stock, they are so nice, and often remind me when a refill is due. I seriously like this place so much that I moved across town and still return here for my scrips. Worth my drive every time. read more

Smaller older pharmacy, brings back memories of my wonder years in the 60's. Most of the folks are cool, Liz the pharmacy helper is pretty helpful and talks loud which is good as I have a hearing problem. read more

Just want to let everyone know that Rite Aid employee, Margaret V., is truly one of those kind hearted people that one would be lucky to encounter in their time of need. I was that lucky person on Tuesday evening. I was in a bind after my class at CSM, near empty gas tank (ok, irresponsible on my part but it happens to us all) no way to pay for gas due to an unusual situation where I could not open my glove compartment to retrieve my wallet, 9:30 at night, far from home, no one that could pick me up - basically, an all around bad luck kind of evening. Anyway, I shared my dilemma with the Shell gas station attendant across from Rite Aid and the Rite Aid manager who were both unwilling to take or cash my personal check for a meager $5 - 10 dollars so that I could purchase enough gas to get home. I was truly on the verge of losing my faith in humanity, especially since the two that refused to help were women who could imagine how scary it would be to be in my situation. Margaret, my savior, trusted my story and out of the kindness of her heart, gave me $10 from her locker and wished me a Merry Christmas. I was shocked, relieved and on the verge of tears! She understood that a woman stranded at night isn't safe, that I was lucky to be at Rite Aid instead of stranded on 280 in the dark, and that I was in need of just a small bit of help to get me home safely. Upon arriving home, my spare key unlocked the glove compartment and I now have my wallet back. I plan to repay Margaret with more than just the $10 she lent me but for now, I just wanted to shout out thank goodness there are still great people in the world that are willing to lend a helping hand!!!!!!!! Thank you Margaret, I really appreciate your kindness and generosity, you are wonderful!!! read more
