This is a smaller and older CVS, with a tiny and very difficult parking lot. Almost every time I pull into the lot I hit the curb trying to avoid cars going the other way. But that's on me. :) I like the intimacy of this CVS. I know most of the employees and they are always so helpful. No matter how busy it is, they will drop everything to help you. Although their prices can be higher than other stores for some things (get your batteries at Home Depot instead), they are constantly sending coupons though the mail and email and they save serious money!! I've saved $30 on one trip before!! Go ahead and make fun of their receipts, but I love the coupons. They are tailored for what I buy (usually) and save me lots of $$. They're always open when I need them and they have a pharmacy that usually has enough staff to keep people from waiting in line too long. On Wednesday 7/22/2026 I bought a light purple vest from CVS, the rack was right by tge door with other t/shirts & the price tag clearly showed $2.99. When I went to pay f4 it in the self service area, the machine i tried didnt work so I called for help. A CVS attendant came over, she said the item was NOT $2.99 & she zapped the item 3x so I paid fr it 3x. Very odd! My gut instinct told me this isn't right but I moved on. After trying the vest at home, it was too tight so I rereturned it today Fruday 7/24/2026. This time the SAME attendant served me but this time she said it was only $2.99 & that's the price that would be refunded. I got her name as Linda, Asian woman. When i tried to get a Pic of her badge she turned away. I asked to speak to tge Manager who was very nice & agreed to refund the whole amount of the receipt. My receipt clearly shows I was charged 3X. Linda swears she didnt remember she served me just 2 days ago!! In my opinion & by the way she was acting, she knew damn well what she did. This is not the first time his happened but 3rd regarding a print job for SAME DAY ORDER. Put order in and says will be done by certain time, it's not. I even have a 3 hour late window and still fails. I literally tried calling before going down. No one picks up phone except Pharmacy who can only apologize and transfer me back. After 12 minutes and multiple calls (see photo), still unsuccessful. Go into the store and ask when will it be done. Staff member said "I don't know" and I adk can you give me general idea... same response then pause. Wait for it... "Oh for sure tomorrow..." Um that's NOT same day then. I think I have been more than patient and understanding but my business is lost. I had over $500 in gift cards to buy but I'd rather purchase them somewhere else. read more

Wow this is the worst CVS I have ever been to. I ordered a photo book same day pickup early in the morning and came in late afternoon to pick it up. They had the printed pages ready but it wasn't in a book, so I told them it's not done. They told me to take the photos with me and bring it back another day when the book maker was in. WHY COULDNT I LEAVE THE PHOTOS WITH THEM TO FINISH THE JOB. I came back another day to drop it off. The SAME lady told me to come back ANOTHER day because the book maker was out AGAIN. I told her no I'm leaving these with you because I'm not coming in again unless I'm picking up what I paid for. A few days go by and I don't get any email for pickup. In all my years experiencing pharmacy employees never spoke to such a rude employee. I understand the pharmacy can be a stressful situation definitely can be but still when it comes to customers no matter how rude or they wanna make you pull out your hair how business it is must respect your customers, not sure how busy they are but the way the pharmacist spoke to me on the phone she sure was in a rush to get rid of me. Not necessarily this store's fault, but the pharmacy's completely circular voicemail system is one of the circles of h3ll. You cannot get a human, and can't get a call-back. It's awful. I need medication for my dog. No I don't know her exact date of birth - because of that the system repeatedly hung up on me. So frustrating. Won't use this again. read more

CVS Pharmacy has really gone downhill. They're the last line of defense before the patient receives their prescriptions. Been on the same prescription for 2 years now. My records are on files. The Pharmacist should be aware of changes as it appears on their request. I'm diabetic and my prescription hasn't changed. Why would you issue the incorrect testing strips if it doesn't match up to your glucose meter on file. There should have been a red flag. This week I was issued a new system for testing as the other one is being phased out. So I tried to use the new system only to find out they issued the wrong lances for the new system. Don't they check to see if everything matches up? They ought to verify whether or not the systems work with each other regardless if the Dr. prescribed it incorrectly. Why issue something that won't work with each other. Aren't they supposed to be aware of this? In both instances the Pharmacist(s) were rude and condescending. There should have been better checks and balances. Thank God it wasn't an incorrect drug. Now I'm at the mercy of waiting for yet another prescription and another trip to the pharmacy. read more

This is for the young male cashier at the store. Picked up an online order, he kept thinking it was a photo order even after I said ONLINE order. Long story short, I had 4 items all in ONE bag but they charged me for 4 bags!?? Really? Guess it doesn't matter how many bags they give you, they charge you a bag per item. This is my neighborhood business. Store is clean and organized. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. There's this nice lady who usually works the cosmetics and beauty section. She's never rude and super helpful. I come here for toiletries, hair products, greeting cards, etc because they always have what I need in stock. I love the coupons and offers they provide, so make sure you sign up to a rewards member because it is worth it. Also great place to get a photo gift or project in 24hrs. So many times I've gotten a quick collage mounted on a board and it turns out so pretty and professionally done. Thanks for the great service and products you provide! read more

No Pharmacy is perfect. Everyone has a bad day. That said, I like their notification system when the prescription is ready for me to pick up. I changed from the big warehouse type pharmacy to CVS. If I could give zero stars, I would. This pharmacy has treated me horribly for years, and I believe they are openly racist against white people. Every visit is a fight, and the staff make it very clear who they want to help and who they don't. Most recently, they dispensed medication that my wife is allergic to, even though it's clearly documented in their records. When I brought it to their attention, the pharmacist tried to cover it up by changing the file from "allergic" to "patient prefers not to take" -- a reckless move. They are expensive, unfriendly, and dangerous. I will never give them another penny. read more

I have to upgrade to 4 Stars from 1 a few months ago. Service has definitely improved. New counter people are much more pleasant and attentive. They put in a new system - if I need help with my refill an answering machine reply is they will contact in an hour. So far they have by text. It seems there are new pharmacists too. You should acknowledge the price online or do price match. Online it says $7.99 for the tablet and the store is charging $11.99 that's $4 difference. I am used to this, and every, CVS being dirty, cluttered, crowded and slow but today's experience is a new low. I get a prescription filled every month. It needs to be ordered in because it is expensive (they tell me) and CVS refuses to keep it in stock. This is despite it being one of the most commonly prescribed medicines in the country. Every month, CVS peevishly suggests I order early to ensure it is ready for me and every month, they wait until the day of renewal, then discover it's out of stock and have to order it, leading to a delay every time. Rinse and repeat. Today, I arrived to find my order had been sent to another CVS in Burlingame/Millbrae, 20 minutes away. They tried to blame it on my doctor, despite this being a refill and there being no new prescription that could be misdirected. It is just awful and no one should stand for it. Terrible Rewards Program Purchase Tracking Recently attempted to return what tasted like a stale food item. Although I used my rewards ID to purchase the item, I paid cash and lost the receipt. CVS management denied the return because CVS reportedly cannot track and verify reward member purchases unless a debit or credit card is used. Such an oversight, if true, is disgraceful and poor customer service. Home Depot and Safeway track rewards program purchases by date and item as well as a whole host of other shopper information that is win-win for store and member. When those rewards members lose a receipt, returns are easily managed through the member rewards program. No fuss with Home Depot and Safeway returns. Shame on CVS for such poor rewards program management. read more

Horrible service, random attention, depending upon who you get behind the desk. I sent my wife in to pick up prescriptions, which I regularly got filled for the past four or five years only to be have her turned away because they couldn't figure out the insurance component of it they would send me notes that it had been approved. My doctor would send notes that it had been preapproved and then my wife would go in Who is also a doctor by the way and be turned away then I'd get a phone call and I showed them the three notes that they sent me saying it had been approved. I called my doctor. It was approved so I finally exited the clown show in car. Go to Walgreens or somewhere else because you'll get better attention. I have been coming to CVS pharmacy for years and haven't had much problem with them until recently when my parents moved to Foster City and I had to help them transfer all the prescription meds from Walgreens in Millbrae to CVS in FC. Initially, I tried to do all online and entered all the prescriptions names and details, but after 1 week, only 2 of the 9 prescriptions were in their system. So I called CVS and was told it's best to just ask all the prescribing docs to resend the medications to CVS in FC. So I did that. Another week goes by, and still only 2 meds showing in their system. And when I went to pick up the meds, there were some more complications. They can't find the med, someone probably misplaced it, they said, and asked me to come back the next day. So today, I went back to get the 2 meds, and I was shocked at the mark up. For the same meds (and qty), I was charged $15 and $30 at Walgreens, but at CVS, they charge $19 and $54!!! And they told me "Walgreens are a little cheaper than us." From $30 to $54 is 80% increase! NOT A LITTLE! I cannot believe CVS overcharges this much!!! read more

TLDR: Time wasted coming to a pharmacy that refills the wrong prescription for me consistently. Steer clear! I've only been coming to this pharmacy for the last 5 refills I've had for my prescription. When I initially switched over, they filled a generic brand of my medication & told me to try it since the active ingredients are the same. I was nauseous on it for a month and decided I'd rather switch back to my preferred brand. The pharmacist said he'd note it and special order it for me so they'd have it in stock since they don't normally carry it. Since that first refill, they've consistently refilled the generic brand despite my prescription specifically calling out the brand I do not get sick using. I then have to come into the store and speak with them, wait an additional week for my special order to come in.. they don't even answer their phone so I can correct it without coming in. They've made at least 3 notes on my account noting my request, and yet the same mistake continues to happen. I am looking into a new pharmacy, would suggest going anywhere else but here. read more

Today we went to pick up my husband's prescription. We were waiting in line for about 20 minutes at the counter. There were 3 stooges in the back and finally, one of the stooges asked if anyone had helped us and we said no one was helping us. They said someone would help us. After another 5 minutes of waiting when the cashier clerk finally arrived, she helped the lady in line who was after us and didn't even bother to ask us if we had been helped. Their customer service we received could have been better and if they continue at this rate, they will clearly lose customers and lose business. I came in requesting to pick up a prescription that i need every month and wasn't able to get it due to my insurance and my poor scheduling before a big trip. JENNY though, did in fact do more than what she probably would've wanted to do and I appreciated it so much. She went through the efforts to call my insurance and see if there were any way that we could get it. She definitely talked to a few people and honestly this is how customer service should be all the time. Putting in that effort to do everything and anything that your position allows you to. Worst customer experience I've had! I am a Kaiser member and will definitely stay with Kaiser. This experience made me see the excellent customer service at KP. The pharmacists at this location were rude and condescending. It's unfortunate they are in the profession they are in. No hand-off between the pharmacist who was in a rush to leave and the one who was taking over. A pharmacy tech raised her voice at me while asking if I will be paying out of pocket, 3rd time I was asked. Does CVS/Aetna even train them to have courtesy or some decent human respect? This store has gone downhill. I walked in to schedule a flu shot and the Pharmacy clinic manager told me just do a walk in. I asked if I have to fill out any forms like all other flu shots and she said no. Their pharmacist on the other hand told me the opposite that she's booked for scheduling for the month and advised me to go elsewhere. I told her to please talk to her staff about the miscommunication but she defended her staff and said she nor her staff are responsible for the error and that it's on ME that I am the one who seems delusional.
