I just went to go buy beer for myself with my little sister. This Asian cat at the register was assisting us and wanted both of our iDs and I asked "Why? I am buying" which I continued to give my iD. He calls for a manager for assistance with my ID and the manager basically makes up some BS that they can't sell to siblings It's policy and you need a guardian and I responded "I am her older sister I am over 30" mind you, I am 34 years old. Those 2 Asian cats were Unprofessional, judgmental, and being complete dummies for pulling that stunt.. look at your policy again. read more

Lydia - is a Great example of what a store associate should be like "courteous, knowledgeable and polite". I visited the store on 5/13/25 to buy a Bday gift. She did Not try to upsell me on other items but in fact suggested that I join the rewards club and download the app for more savings and that I would be able to order items ahead of time so that I may just stop in and pick up. On 2/7/26 around noon, my son went into this store simply to buy agave syrup and was told he could not purchase anything because he was not 21 years old. There are no signs posted in the store, and no information online, stating that customers must be 21+ to purchase all items. If that is truly the policy, there should be clear signage and/or ID checks at the door so customers are not put in uncomfortable or embarrassing situations at the register. What made this experience worse was the behavior of the staff at checkout. They were rude, condescending, and disrespectful, instead of calmly explaining the policy or acknowledging the confusion. Basic customer service and patience were completely lacking. I strongly suggest management reviews how policies are communicated and ensures employees--especially those working the register--are trained in respectful customer service. No one should be treated this way for trying to buy a grocery item. read more

When I buy my bourbon or Scotch, Total Wine & More is where I go when I want a large selection at a fair price. I'm not saying you wouldn't save a couple of bucks here and there if you went to Costco but the selection wouldn't be as robust as it is at Total Wine & More. I also feel that the employees at Total Wine are very knowledgeable. They will sit and talk to you as long as it takes. Some of my favorites to buy here are GlenAllachie 12 year single malt scotch, , GlenMorangie Quinta Ruban 14 year, Four Roses small batch bourbon, and GlenDronach 15 year Revival single malt scotch. read more

Fuzzy store employees! Been to multiple total wines with my partner and friends as we enjoy the selection. I've been card in the past, not card and been able to show an ID via my phone not being the person ever purchasing the alcohol always just accompanying. ... they make the biggest fuzzy over everyone showing an ID which is ridiculous to ask from someone not actually purchasing the alcohol but being of legal age! The cashier and the manager were being ridiculous over having to verify my ID. .. verbally discussing further conversations with someone else regarding the situation with IDs. If they want to follow the laws and use that as their excuse , then fine. However, perhaps you should ID at the door not at checkout, where you place people in unnecessary uncomfortable embarrassing positions. Total wines is a little extra and perhaps it's best to stick to local liquor shops to avoid this joke behavior. ... the manager who was called over to verify the ID didn't even bother to look at it but just allowed it. Sooo much to choose from here! Wine, liquor, beer, gifts for entertaining. They have items that are chilled and ready to go or to be stored. I came to get a 12 pack of beer that my friend likes. I was killing time before meeting a friend for dinner and found some sour beers I was interested in. I also scoped the Irish whiskey aisle to see so many distilleries I'm not familiar with. With going to Ireland soon, I didn't want to bring home whiskies I could get at home so I did some studying. A rep was nice enough to help me with some of his favorites. Eric Westerhouse needs coaching. Let's start there. I shop here relatively often, especially since we live around the corner. I came in to purchase my usual: ginger beer and tonic water. Neither of which are alcoholic beverages. For the first time ever, I was carded for a non alcoholic purchase. I walked in with only my phone bc I knew I wasn't buying alcohol. I said "these aren't alcohol", he says "yeah but this is a bar", to which I say: "no its a liquor store, and liquor stores only card alcohol and tobacco sales". He stammers and tries to explain a bs answer about why I need to show id for no decent reason. I leave. Mind you I'm pushing 40 and look it. My husband immediately walks in bc he had a wallet and I ask him to complete the purchase. He goes into the right lane and waits in line. Eric is serving the man behind me in line. HERES THE ISSUE: Eric proceeds to badmouth me to the next customer. Saying I was privileged etc. My husband had to let him know "dude that's my wife you're yammering about. Is that store policy?" Not ok. I will never come here again and no one of know will either. I hope the store gets it together. This is bad for business. read more

Their reader couldn't scan my ID so I had to return the wine even thought the deliverer could clearly see I was over 21. I asked to talk to the supervisor who I assumed would be reasonable but was even crazier than the driver who was a slave to their poorly designed app. So I had to return the wine but my credit card has yet to be refunded. Needing a gift for our friend's anniversary, we stopped by this Total Wines to shop before heading off to dinner nearby. I was looking for the 400 Conejos Mezcal, which was served at their wedding in Mexico. It was difficult to find locally until Total Wines started carrying it, but in limited supplies. I checked the store inventory and this store had it in stock. The store is located in the Bridgepoint Shopping Center off 92. I located the Mezcal and did a little shopping and picked up a couple of other items as well. So the beer selection has kind of curtailed it was actually pretty good for quite some time better bev and more more but then I guess they figured out the economics of it and they stopped doing singles so that was the fun part of actually going here was to be able to try a variety of different beers and kind of walk around in Shop. That's not to say that it's still not good it's still good it's just not as diverse The worst part is that I tend to go at night after done with my day, and the front desk guy who is the cashier is rude and domineering and bossy, so no matter what you do this guy complains so he tells you leave it in the car because he wants to take it out of the car then The card that you use to go around the store he tells you pull it outside. Apparently he forgot that we're customers and he works there and as such he supposed to accommodate the customers I'm not sure why they have a conveyor belt at the register if you're not supposed to take your beers out and put them on the conveyor belt for him to ring up Secondly, I have no obligation to bring my card back outside. If he wants to cart back outside then he should bring the cart back outside. I don't need to do his job. He needs to do his job. Hopefully management will look into this and Mr. bossy pants and Fixin. read more

To preface, my friends and I are mid 20's and have never had a negative experience getting carded before. However, every time I go here with my friends, this one particular employee at this store goes out of her way to embarrass and confront us. The first incident happened on September 18th when my friend and I decided to split up to buy limes at Target and a tequila at total wine. He came to meet us at checkout after he had bought the limes and the employee decided to get confrontational. She held the items that I had already paid for hostage and demanded that he show his ID. We understand that she's following store policy, but the overtly aggressive and rude manner that she confronted us ruined our experience shopping that day. The second incident happened tonight when we went to grab some alcohol. As there were two registers open and we were paying separately anyways (and partly because some of us didn't want to deal with this lady again), we decided to split up into the separate registers to pay. Despite all of us having ID's, ready to be scanned, she once again confronted us for splitting up (despite planning on paying separately?) and held us up in both lines as people started to line up behind us. What's more offensive is the fact that after wasting all this time, she goes out of her way to call the manager over (without being asked to) when we're just ready to leave. As a result, we had to spend another 10 minutes explaining to the manager something that should have never happened. I'm unsure about what her problem with us is, but I find it ridiculous that I have to go through these experiences that ruin the night right before we're about to have a fun night drinking. Despite all her negativity, I would recommend going to this location and the other Total Wines as they have great selection of products at great prices, as long as you don't encounter her at the checkout. Total Wine & More located in the Bridgepointe Parkway area is truly like a wonderland for anybody looking for both a specific beverage they have in mind and for those looking to expand what their palate is familiar with. They're located next to some heavyweight general stores so the shopping plaza in which they're situated in has quite a large parking lot so that should never frustrate you. What may frustrate you is the vast selection and variety of drink offerings they provide you to choose from. The good news here is there are eager and willing employees roaming the aisles, with many of them approaching you to ask if you need assistance and or advice. Based on a few interactions with their employees, I walked away impressed with their knowledge and willingness to nail down what choice would work best for me. read more

I don't drink a lot of hard liquor at home these days but it's December and 'tis the season, friends. I needed a few things on hand for guests, so off I went. Total Wine's selection is enormous which makes it very easy to one stop shop. Their prices seem to be mostly on par with other places as well, as far as I can see. I picked up a 750ml bottle each of Grand Marnier, Baileys and a really lovely Amaretto from Knight Gabriello. Plus a small bottle of gin for a friend who likes his martinis. I'm a scotch gal (single malt or Japanese) and although I didn't buy anything this time they had a pretty nice selection there as well. Afterwards I needed to stop by Costco for a few things and I noticed that they had the Grand Marnier for the same price and size. Baileys was $4 off on special so, bit of a miss there... but had it not been on sale it would have also been the same price. Costco only had enormous bottles of gin which I don't need. They also did not have the Amaretto so I never would have been able to try such a nice alternative to the standard DiSaronno. The $4 off on just the Baileys wasn't a big enough price difference to make up for having everything I needed in one spot. So, in the end, I feel like if you need a nice gift or items to stock your bar you're in very good hands here. Also if you want to try something new or if you need a less mainstream item you have a really nice selection to choose from. read more

I like this location. Wish there was one closer to me. Almost can guarantee that I'll leave with something. This visit wasn't any different. Got a bottle of wine and some hard seltzers to try. I love that we can get individual cans of beer as well - in case you want to try it. Many times, I've bought something that sounded interesting - only to not drink the rest because it wasn't good. Prices are always very good and can usually find something on a crazy deal. Staff is nice and friendly and store is always kept super clean. Today was like my third visit here and remembered what aisles to raid. Ed found me gawking in the Scotch/Whiskey aisle and offered his assistance. He was pretty friendly and knowledgeable as well when he found me again in the chaser aisle. A wine store that started on the east coast that made its way out west just in time for quarantine? Yes, please. You can find all of the fixings. Sometimes you need to ask them to hunt down a bottle (like Lillet), but they will find it. Champs, beer, wine, snacks, bitters, olives, and a small selection of cheese and charcuterie? Yes, please. Best selection of wine, liquor & beer. They even have a cigar humidor, snacks, and decanters. Good deals for items in bulk, like the pick-6 wine bottle pricing. The staff favorite signs make it feel risk-free trying new wines (only because employees here are incredibly knowledgeable and are happy to help select something with you anyway). Also highly recommend coming here during their wine tastings on Thursday, Friday & Saturday (just remember to bring a penny). Some absolute insanity and complete disrespect for the buyer! In addition, there is no such law that was obligated to behave in this way. You cannot beat the prices here and some even beat Costco! Customer service is an A+. It's nice to not awkward every time I go here and ask about recommendations because the people here actually know about their alcohol! It's honestly pretty dangerous when shopping here because there is such a great variety. This review is for one associate in particular. Unfortunately we forgot his name but he assisted us in choosing a tequila that we were gifting to someone. Initially, we wanted to check out with a bottle of Clase Azul; simply because we were familiar with it and the bottle is nice. But after asking for the associate's opinion, we eventually ended up buying a bottle of El Padrino Blanco. The whole time he seemed very knowledgeable and gave us trust in our decision. Long story short, the party loved it and one person even said it was the best tequila they've had.
