Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a 7-Eleven this morning, Monday, May 18, 2027 at 9:20am. I went in to get a coffee, first time at this location. I'm a monthly rewards member and pay my $9.99 a month for the coffee subscription. I made my coffee and it tasted great. They had no sleeves, so I grabbed another cup which I normally do at 7 Elevens when they don't have any and every location I've been to have no problems with it except this one. I asked the rude worker if he had one and he said no, he asked me for .50 cents for the cup and I told him that why should I pay for an extra cup if he don't have a sleeve. We went back and forth and he said "you can't afford .50 cents?" That was very disrespectful. Of course I can afford the .50 cents, it's the principal. This place I will never go again to. I have been ordering deliveries from this particular 7-11. I normally get coca-cola but they seem to refuse serving regular Coca Cola the past 3 times I order there. I wanted big gulp size regular Coca Cola and for whatever reason they put DIET COKE in my soda. The last three orders I sip and immediately taste the heavy aspartame additive that triggers me a migraine. If you're out of Coca Cola and only serve Diet Coke just turn off the Coca Cola option in the delivery apps 7-11 store section otherwise people are going to be mislead in their Door Dash and Uber Eats delivery apps that regular Coca Cola is available and that they will end up getting Diet Coke regardless of Coke option they choose. read more

Worst 7-Eleven I've ever been to. Stopped in today for free slurpie day and this Worker (small thin guy with glasses) was working the machines with a horrible attitude. He rushed us to choose a flavor and wouldn't mix flavors but did it for others in front of us. Came here for a cup of Extra Large 7-Eleven's own blend of coffee. Really good coffee and i added hazelnut creamer. Super yummylicious. This was at 3:30am on a Friday. 1/20/2023. Not sure why the bad reviews on here. Staff here are superb at what they do. They are awesome!! Super nice and helpful. The guy with the limp is so hard working. He made sure i got the freshest brewed coffee. He told me to pour what i got, in the sink so i can fill it up with fresh brewed coffee. Yes, the store is super small for the amount of items they carry. They try their best in keeping it organized and it is organized. Just a lot of items. At least they are good in keeping things stocked. It looks like a really old building. But it's clean. Lots of parking. Convenient location. Put the cosmetics of the store aside and look at what they have to offer. Good service and good products. You are not going to find hot food here at 3 am due to little foot traffic. Busy 7-11 on Concar Drive in San Mateo, right near the Hwy 101 x Rt 92 interchange. At 410pm, the parking lot was full, but they share a lot with a a shopping center so no problem finding a space. I didn't see any homeless people hanging around, but there was a police car sitting in the parking lot. The store was well stocked and busy. Lots of hot foods. I got a 1/4 Lb hotdog, which was fresh. The bun was soft, like it should be. My coworker got an egg sandwich, which was fresh. Service was fast and efficient. Not alot of chatter. Next door to Trader Joes. read more

There is a lady who is sometimes there who is very nice and kind( I think she is the owner's daughter) but there has recently been a woman there(dark skinned with straight black hair) that is extremely rude. I asked for tacos and they normally hold them until a person gets to the front so I walked to the back to get a drink and she threw my tacos hard on the counter as I was walking by. I thanked her regardless but when I went to pay she threw my money again. I asked her why she threw stuff and she said I did it too. I have a condition where I sometimes make jerky movements but I suppose she is not smart enough to realize that people can have issues. I was nice and respectful to her but she was unbelievably rude. I originally came in for some nachos until I saw the cheap deal on hot dogs (only $1) and you can add the condiments like chili and nacho cheese for free?? YES PLEASE!!! So we all walked from our hotel and walked in and she said we need masks so we walked out. We all stood outside the store. We all went in one by one because we had one mask. The cashier was very rude and verbally harassed us. I was the last to go in and I was using 3 different card to pay for 3 slushy's. So we didn't have to come in anymore because she was rude. When I got up to the register I told her that I was using 3 card and she started yelling at me and made me cry. She wouldn't let me pay so the lady behind me offered to pay for me. The cashier told her no and let me pay with 3 separate cards. While I was doing that she continued to harass me and so was another lady in the store. One of my friends walked in to defend me and she wouldn't stop. When I was done the lady said something rude to me but I don't remember what it was because I was scared for my life. So I told her to stop being a bitch and walked out of the store. She then continued to follow us outside and was screaming at me. She then tried to fight me so I said sorry and walked away. She continued to follow us and tried to fight me. I just kept walking. The lady then got in her car and chased us trying to hit us. On the morning of Sunday April 29, 2018 I witnessed the worst female clerk making fun of and putting down a disabled man who needed help popping a bag of popcorn in their crap microwave. I was honestly shocked, then disgusted and finally pissed that this pathetic brunette clerk had the nerve to down talk and act annoyed with this man who was simply asking for some basic assistance. The poor man looked flustered and then asked me to help so I put my items on the counter and proceeded to help him. As I got back in line and moved closer to the clerk I let this human waste of space have it and called her an embarrassment and asked what her problem was. I guess since I wasn't someone she thought she could kick around she stayed quiet and just rolled her stupid eyes. People like this woman should not be the frontline for any retailer, let alone working with customers. I let her know I would be writing a review and contacting the BBB with a complaint and no longer visiting this store and she didn't seem to care. People like this lady should be properly trained, written up and possibly suspended or fired if it turns out this is not an isolated incident. This has to be the worst 7-11 on the Peninsula. Not only do they always run out of product, it takes weeks for them to refill the product that ran out. At one time they also had a problem with panhandlers out front. I haven't run across one in quite a while. This particular 7-11 is small and sometimes does not have much in stock. Their chip selection can run quite low and they don't refill it for awhile which can get irritating. However, the people who work here day and night are both extremely friendly and very courteous to the customers. The people who shop here are also nice and it doesn't get too crowded. The parking lot is kinda small, but you can park in the bigger lot aside near Tjmaxx, Ross, or Rite-Aid. Occasionally, there are panhandlers outside but they don't bother you as much as other places I've been to. Hell, if you do have change why not give it to them? read more
