This is my first time setting up my rewards points with Rite Aid and she took the time to explain how to get the most out of my membership! She wasn't pushy and I decided to sign-up because there's opportunities for decent savings at this store. I'll definitely be returning as I didn't encounter any issues or lines. I located my Emergen-C vitamins and a few snacks quickly! My only concern is that a few of the shelves were bare, it gave me COVID-19 vibes. This Rite Aid Store is always like a "Plan B" for me. Whenever I don't have any nearby options to get a desired product (Ex: Gillette After Shave Gel, Hot Shot Flying Insect Killer, GNC Pro Performance Weight Gainer etc.) I come to this store, and they never disappoint me. I find this store to be one of the most frustrating businesses I've ever dealt with . They seem to be too lazy to do their job and then give some excuse about the medicine being a controlled substance . All that being the case if it's a serious substance it should be treated seriously where the side effects of not having a refill work is indeed an unsafe Health practice . They're automatic system will not take an order but what happens is it takes it for the next day and probably get sent to the doctor's office to fill out the forms all over again at the very last minute and it just doesn't happen . They used to give you a courtesy call to remind you to pick up your prescription; well, not anymore.

I went this morning to purchase a $25 gift card and the stupid cashier charged me $500! How the hell do you hear $500 over $25? So now I'm out $500 in my checking account and have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get my money back! Are you kidding me? Use common sense and VERIFY before your enter the price for a gift card, especially on such a high amount. This is absolutely ridiculous and so inconvenient. Came in early today to fill 2 prescriptions, ibprofine and Tylenol 3. Both 30 pills each, enough to last me 2 weeks because I broke 2 bones in my toe and am in serious pain. I dropped my prescription off and my husband picked it up. As I went to take it I noticed there was not very many inside the Tylenol container, I counted it out, 10 pills.... I remember the prescription being 30 pills. Enough for 2 a day for 2 weeks. So I called the pharmacy and spoke to one of the girls I didn't catch her name she was friendly at first and than when I told her my concern she got an attitude and asked for my birthday. And told me that the prescription says 10, I'm okay? So I called the hospital, and sure enough 30 pills. How do you miss count that? That's quite a bit of pills to just not give someone who is in a lot of pain. So now I have to inconvenience MYSELF and drive over with a broke toe and a very swollen and bruised body to get the rest of my prescription that they missed! this review is for the pharmacy only: really uncomfortable experience here...i came around four hours ago to drop off a prescription. was greeted with a nasty attitude from one of the staff. the rest were just fine. one of them--i wish i knew her name--was very sweet! but the overall vibe was kind of condescending. anyway, they told me my medications would be ready in 45 mins. i come back four hours later and im told my meds will be ready in 15 mins because they have to fill it... im confused at this point, because i gave them 4 hours and i still had to wait an extra 15 mins to "fill it"? ive never picked up a prescription before so i thought this was standard and sat down. 30 mins passed and i wasnt called or anything. my mom found it strange so she came out of her car to the pharmacy and asked them what happened. they were just like, "oh yeah that's been ready." not coming back here. like i said, some of the workers are nice but others need to be trained in customer service, especially in dealing w ill patients. read more

Everyone seemed to be decent, not very friendly, though, except for the store manager, herself. She was telling me that she wouldn't know who to call as to why the online order has not shown up, which, for a STORE MANAGER should NEVER say. I told her that the store should know, maybe call someone at corporate? She said, right away, condescendingly, "relax, just relax." Again, as store manager, something you NEVER say to a customer. She said she only said that because I was getting "aggressive." I just suggested to call the main office, one time. Apparently, that's being aggressive to her. She also said that I was blaming the store. She was very good in reversing the story or creating a new one. She is very proud, defensive and authoritative, but it's not in the right place. I'm sure there were reasons for promoting her to store manager but she needs to have a customer service training on being kind and nice. I think that position got to her head. She simply lacked maturity in handling situations. I hope she's kind to her staff. The lady that was working in the ice cream area, this is for you because you were rude af! She was helping another person but instead telling us nicely, she gave us an attitude. During the time she was checking out the customer before us, she asked one of her coworker to help us but describe us as the "girl and guy". idiots run this store... and I'm being nice! Came in to return a lip balm I bought from another Rite Aid near my house. I had the receipt but the idiots do not know how to do a return with the right tax amount. Is it that difficult to refund back the same amount, especially with a receipt?! I asked them to make sure the tax is refunded correctly, but none of them knew how to do it! So in the end, I told them they can just have my nickel. None of them can do simple math! I had to explain to each one of them (Supervisor and/or Manager~ amazing!!!) that since Ontario had a lower tax rate than LA county, where I bought the item, they need to refund me the LA taxed amount. One idiot even had the nerve to tell me then I need to go back to the store where I purchased the item. Stupid man. The manager was so nervous after I told her how wrong they were, she made a bunch of notes and took down my receipt numbers and all probably because she wanted to be prepared to cover her butt when and if the Rite Aid corporate office contacts her. But after last night (Friday night), I can't believe how they treat their more serious prescriptions! My father is a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic who is going to be dependent on his insulin shots. After finally being able to leave the ICU, finally being able to come home we wanted to make sure he ate real food, but he can't eat until after he takes his insulin. So my mom went to pick up his prescription from this location. First bad news, the prescriptions weren't fully covered or not covered at all by our insurance; okay not their fault. We pay for one but the other she asks if the pharmacist can call the doctor then. She says no! She says no because they were GOING TO CLOSE IN FIVE MINUTES. So my mom asks what they were going to do about the prescription then? And the pharmacist responds "we were just going to try to fill it on MONDAY." ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!?!?!?!?!? YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE HIM WAIT FOR HIS INSULIN SHOTS THE ENTIRE WEEKEND!?!?!?!? HOW IS HE SUPPOSED TO EAT IF HE HAS TO TAKE HIS SHOT BEFORE EVERY MEAL!!!! I've worked customer service before, even if you close in a minute, you're still open, you're still ready to help. You are a pharmacist, you are a medical professional, and yet you rather deny a diabetic help and possibly endanger him because you were too concerned of making sure YOU got out on time. If it wasn't for her we'd be paying more money than needed. The store us always organized but like others have mentions a bit overpriced. If you have the wellness card you'll save. The ice cream is the cheapest in town.
