I highly recommend you do not use this location. Literally went back three times to try to fulfill a prescition and still was not ready. Do NOT have scripts filled at ANY Rite Aid, if you want to be treated like a human or keep your sanity intact. The "customer service", I mean DISSERVICE" ego of a punk could have tried to help me, but no. Not this guy. He was extremely rude. He couldn't bother to pick up a phone to make a phone call. I wasted 4 hours trying to get a med to stop me from choking from Achalasia and another choking condition I have, but can't spell. The Dr. said he was sending my script to Walmart (another place to never fill unless you don't have another option due to open hours. My husband JUST had back surgery and I went to Walmart. They said Rite Aid had still not released the script. I was at the Rite Aid window 5 minutes after that and he said he couldn't help. There was no line. It's just bad, we all know it's just bad, as always this is about the pharmacy. I had a prescription ordered from here almost a month ago, and I called to ask when I should come in to pick it up. They said it should be around an hour, and then when I came in they only had half of the medications ready (not even the ones I was actually out of) when I picked them up they just told me to come back later for the rest. Fast forward to today and they still haven't filled them. I'm running out of all of my medications, which is kind of a huge deal for a pharmacy to not be able to fill medications within a month. I called today and they said it would be at least 5 hours until they have someone in to fill medications at all. What are you guys even doing in there?? Anyways, customer service when I called the store was rude, actually trying to pick up any medication is abhorrent. I recommend literally anywhere else. I gave one star due to the fact I could leave no less. I was in the pharmacy today with my husband. I could head the pharmacy Tec say,( Ya this lady was mad we didn't fill her prescription and was going to take her business elsewhere.) Out loud this same tech says,(Oh big deal, won't hurt my feelings go ahead.) There is no reason for the rude and disrespectful attitude that I get every single time I have to ask questions about billing! I have been using the GoodRX app for some time now, and have looked up meds and gotten the correct dosage, the amount of pills to be dispensed, etc. and gotten their price with the app. Rite Aid has our GoodRx information in their system, but we are always charged a higher amount. Whenever I have questioned the cost of Rite Aid prescriptions when I have an app that tells me I should be paying a different price, the person I happen to be speaking with gets snotty and rude. It's not okay. Someone needs to pay more attention to their reviews and do something about this. This is not acceptable, and we will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend them for their pharmacy! This locations Pharmacy needs customer service training ASAP. Oregon is a will to work state, so I understand if not everyone has a bubbly attitude, but the contempt in the employees toward the customers needs to be addressed. They also have unusual wait times on hold when calling to refill scripts, avg. 1-2 hrs. This Pharmacy location and its other location in Grants Pass need customer service training and a more respectful attitude toward the general public. I have dealt with various pharmacies over the years, and have NEVER seen such a horrific place as this! Everyone I spoke with was extremely rude and nasty to the point of being unbelievable! I went in pick up a refill and was told it wasn't ready yet and I would need to get in the other line that was for new refill request. (the order had been in for 3 days) They acted like I had spit on them or something, and said they would fill as soon as they could. When I asked about how long it might take (nicely) they snapped that it would probably be done that day. Of course, that didn't happen either. This Rite Aid is huge and has everything you could want in a mega-drugstore. It's well stocked, has a vast variety of items (like a mini-Walmart!), has extremely spacious aisles, the employees are really nice and the pharmacy is efficient. If you are a pet owner they even let you bring your leashed dog into the store. As good as a Rite Aid can be. read more

I had a two prescriptions called into Rite Aid located on D St. in Grants Pass by my DR. I went to pick up prescriptions and was told one of them could not be filled because they didn't have in stock and didn't know when it would be available. I asked for my prescription (a paper copy) so I could go elsewhere to get filled and was told this could not be done since the prescription was called in by a DR. They didn't offer any other avenue to get the prescription filled! It was to late to go to the DR's office as they were closed for the day. The next day I had to go to the DR office to pick up the prescription (paper made out by the DR) so I could take to another pharmacy to get filled. I took to the Rite Aide on Williams HWY and asked before filling if they could fill the prescription. Much to my surprise they could and the wait time would be about 2 hours. I did get the prescription filled adequately... question... why didn't the D St Rite Aid just turn me away instead of either calling the Wms Hwy Rite Aid to see if they could fill and send my prescription electronically to them or return the prescription back to the DR so it could be resent to another pharmacy. Also does Rite Aid not inform the customer when the prescription is ready? No email or text message? I had to keep checking with the pharmacy. read more

I went in the other day 8/20/22 after having called in an RX refill 5 days before and was unable to get through on the phone; only to be told it hadn't been filled yet, they were a week behind due to not enough employees and I'd have to wait 45 min to an hour. The store itself is ok, the prices are just ok (kinda on the spendy side but that's to be expected of this type of store) BUT THE PHARMACY IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! They never have anything ready on time, the never answer the phone when you need to call and check on your prescriptions(I was on the phone for 10 minutes while it rang and redirected me to the initial machine prompt that tells you which number to push at least 10 times this morning alone), and what's worse is sometimes they call to tell you it's ready and when you arrive you have to go to the "drop off window" who then usually tell you it will be about another hour. I understand short staffing and what not but it is getting absolutely ridiculous, the very least they can do is answer the phone and ask us to hold! read more

I have very high unsafe blood sugar levels and insulin is crucial to containing the right level. They never keep it in stock and always have to order. This pharmacy has had 3 "new managers in the last month. The entire place has been a dumpster fire for months. Prescriptions 10-17 days behind. I've had numerous elderly women talk to me in line, one said her heart medication was 10 days late. Another was yelled at by the clerk because she had to sit down (he was taking so long), another tried to talk to "new manager #2) last week about not being able to get an answer on the phone, the #2 manager said "we can either fill the prescriptions or answer calls, what do you want". AllCare has assigned a patient advocate for my BF because the aren't providing his medication before or after surgery (when he crushed his hand). It took 16 days to get his antibiotic. Today his pain meds (13 days after the surgeon sent them in) were supposed to have been ready. Nope, but new manager #3 "Dick" said they would finish them in 30+ minutes (the 13 days wasn't enough, or the calls and fax from AllCare????). When I returned, waited again through a line, a woman in line smiled and shrugged when I was upset. I stopped and explained how long it took them to fill his meds before and after surgery. The new manager #3 told me to get out. So, I pulled out my phone. The new manager #3 threatens to call the cops. The video is on google. I've been going to this Rite Aid for some time now. Recently there have been several issues with getting my Rx on time. And like the others who have complained, no one EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! Even my doc office couldn't get through to them. I know they recently hired new people, what is the issue? Not convenient. I've been patient waiting for Rite Aid to correct this issue, but nope. This longtime loyal pharmacy customer has finally had enough. I've become used to experiencing ridiculous delays when picking up prescriptions, and enduring indifference to the inconveniences by (usually) the female clerk, but this last experience really broke the camel's back. My Dr. called in a rx yesterday, while I was still at their office. I went to Rite Aid to pick it up, killing additional time by shopping for half an hour. When I got to the counter, not only was it not ready, but I was told it would be another half hour! There were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS WAITING. Also, this item (eye drops) comes pre-packaged. I then left the store, and called them 45 minutes later to see if it was ready yet. Not only was it NOT READY, I was then told that the item wouldn't be in until tomorrow after noon! Why wasn't I told that at the beginning, in the store??! I could have wasted YET ANOTHER trip to that store, if I hadn't called first! Today, I went in to pick up my rx FOR THE LAST TIME. Not even an apology. I have contacted my docs and moved all my prescriptions over to Walmart. The customer service at this location is horrible. They are completely indifferent about inconveniencing their customers. Additionally frustrating is to stand in line, waiting MINUTES just for a clerk to appear and acknowledge me, while seeing no less than 5 to 7 pharmacy personnel behind the glass. This poor pharmacy is often busier than most, and they always do a really good job of processing all those prescriptions at once!

They always have a ridiculous line for pharmacy, and it's probably because people have to come inside to deal with anything regarding their prescriptions. They refuse to answer the phone. Many people end up standing in their line several hours to deal with one medication that was overdue a week ago. I've gone without my blood pressure meds, and had to go off meds for mental health purposes many times, every month actually for about 6 months now. They used to do this when I submitted refills online, so they convinced me to do the text refills. I did, and it was fine Dora few months, but now they are so far behind, their own auto refill program sets people up to runout of meds for a week or more. You can't call to find out what's happening. You have to drag yourself in there in person, often feeling terrible because you've not had your meds, stand in line, and get told to come back in 1,2,3+ hours. You return in a few hours, stand in line again, get told it's still not ready. One of my meds causes severe dizziness upon missing meds after just a couple hours. By 24 hours it's unbearable, but I still have to drive there because I have to find out what's going on! They need to stop accepting new patients or something. Get new management. They are only getting further behind and now say it's 2 1/2 weeks out for refills! Basically you have to submit refill as soon as you pick up your prescription. It's not just me. Ive seen so many people in tears, begging for their meds. Elderly people being forced to come in and sit for hours because their heart meds are out. Today I'm trying to find out where I'm at with a prescription that needed dr authorization for more refills. I put it in last week, and still unsure if the dr hasn't approved it or if they just haven't filled it. I tried calling at 8am on the dot. No answer after multiple tries. I will have to go down there and sit despite needing to do many other things today because I'm going out of town and need my meds. Maybe, just maybe, it wouldn't be so awful if they pretended to care. read more

don't go to this pharmacy. i went there because i needed an inhaler. i told the pharmast and he said that he didn't care. i arrived BEFORE closing and he told me that he wasn't going to help me, because he wasn't working after hours. i'm sorry -- i got there BEFORE the store closed. i should have been helped. my only option was the ER. never again. don't go here. i don't know what his problem was....the old man could have been a racist. whatever the reason, he and his staff laughed at me while i walked away, having trouble breathing. cruel people. not a good place to get medicine. read more
