They will not answer their phone. The doctor accidentally sent a prescription to this pharmacy. I have been trying to call them nonstop for 45 minutes and nobody will pick up. It is a five minute or less phone conversation to find out if they are refilling a prescription or if not I can cancel it, so I can get it sent to the right pharmacy. instead, I have to load up my newborn baby and drive all the way down there to stand in line to have a less than five minute conversation to find out if I can cancel this prescription or not because they will not answer their phone. read more

Last month, the automated system informed me that they could mail the prescriptions so I filled out the form online. The next day it asked me to fill out the same form. And then the next day again. The prescription did not show up in time and these are vital prescriptions. The kind that if you miss a dose, your system goes haywire. so I drove the 20 miles into town to speak with them. I had called and been assured that it would be waiting. However, because it had been picked up by the post office five days previously and we didn't know where it was they couldn't refill it but they could sell me some over the counter. OK. And three days later the prescription arrived. Who knows what the post office did with it or whose fault it was. This month there was no notification so I called in and they no longer have that prescription in their system according to the automated system. I waited on hold for 20 minutes going round and round in the system on the phone to talk to a pharmacist whoI was never able to reach. I don't understand this. You're a business who is responsible for peoples health. So we're going to a different pharmacy after two years of trying to negotiate with this one. read more

In all honesty I think the people behind the counter are very nice people. It's just their management really really blows. So between having to request a prescription to be filled at least 3+ times and them rarely answering their phones (that is what irritated me most) I just couldn't stay there any longer. read more

They simply don't care. When they don't answer the phone or don't fill your prescription for close to a week, all they do us tell you about how short staffed they are and how many prescriptions they have to fill. Then the demean you or tell you they have other customers to deal with when asked a basic question. Rude. Horrible. I would go somewhere else, but we have already left BiMart when they closed, left Walgreens because if horrible service. As of yesterday, my husband is OUT of his twice daily cardiac meds. I ordered it 6 days ago. When I spoke to them yesterday, they had none and had to order it. They told me to call to see when it's ready. How convenient. They answer maybe 1 call out of ten. This has to be the WORST pharmacy ever! They don't even answer the phone. I have to go inside to get my refills even if I do the refill online they never fill anything. Always out of stock on things and they don't even try to get it. I e had a prescription that's needed to be filled since August, it's 3 days from December!!! when you do go in you have to just stand around forever the people working there will even tell you that they don't answer the phone. As a type one diabetic, getting my insulin on time is life or death. I was supposed to pick up my prescription on the 9th and it is the 12th and I have not heard anything. I can barely get through on the phone, and when I do, I am asked to hold over and over. They didn't bother ordering my prescription until the day before I was supposed to pick it up. This is the worst pharmacy I have known. I waited 45 minutes to pick up my prescription, and when it was my turn, they told me to go to the drop box window first. The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I called in my daughter's prescription on Friday, came to pick up her prescription on Monday and was told insurance wouldn't cover till Thursday, understandable. But I came on Friday and was told by the rude guy that he has no clue and her prescription hasn't been written up, and i have to go to another window. Waited at the other window, while typing this and was given an excuse that they are short staffed because people quit. This isn't the 1st time I have called in a prescription and a week later its still not ready. This place is incompetent. They need better management. read more

Once again, pharmacy tried to get away with filling my prescription with a 30 day supply for the very important insulin that I take and charging for a 90 day supply. Last I checked, that's called THEFT. When confronted, they refunded the money.. After wasting an hour of my time!! Pharmacy technician was rude and sarcastic. I have never had such bad and service from ANY pharmacy in my life-from getting prescriptions wrong, to having to wait 4-7 days to get a script filled after it was called in! I have work management in retail businesses for more than 40 years. Since the pandemic of 2019, People are still sucking the free unemployment from Oregon and are unwilling to work. Rite Aid has kept its chin up and serving this community. They open sooner than any other pharmacy, they close later than any other pharmacy. I see their ads for help wanted. I came in one morning to pick up a few items. I smiled at the associates and they smiled back, I was greeted at the door, which is very refreshing. Usually, I don't come back later, but need a few things before closing. My goodness, the same people were working the floor and pharmacy. So the pharmacy staff is doing a 12-hour shift or more, holy cow. Hands down and a ten for still trying to help the people of Grants Pass. I live elsewhere and I frequent that Rite Aid all the time. Worst pharmacy ever. IF you are lucky enough to get them to answer, they really couldn't care less. I've been trying to get a blood thinner refill for more than 3 weeks. Automated system fails. Finally speak with a live person they say they will send a request to the doc, which the doc has yet to receive. Multiple calls, multiple visits, and still no medication. Stopped in for essentials and when I tried paying their card machine froze, went to another one that one was also frozen. They asked I try another card, which I did even though it wasn't even trying to run my cards. The girl called the manager over, explained what had happened and she immediately tried blaming me and was very rude when I let her know it wasn't me, it was the machine. As she rebooted the machines I tried making small talk, she ignored me! Like it's my fault you're having technical difficulties??! Clearly I didn't need to spend my money there, I left, went next door to safeway where amazingly my card worked. Will never go back. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy i have dealt with. Waited in line for 45 mins and there were only 4 people ahead of me. I went in on Monday Sept 18th to get my husbands meds and they were not done. They said they would text me when they were done. Heard nothing, called Tuesday and when I finally got through after calling over and over cause wouldn't pick up the phone, they still were not done. Went back in Thursday, Sept 21 and after 45 mins of waiting in line, was told they still were not done....If I wanted to wait an hour and a half they MIGHT have them done before closing. This isn't just a one time occurrence either... the meds are never ready to be picked up in a timely manner, or else they are out of the medicine and have to order it and I order the meds a week before he is out, and they still can't have them filled in a timely manner. This happens almost every time I go pick my husbands meds up. I strongly suggest NOT using this pharmacy and finding somewhere else to get your meds. Somewhere that has a little more urgency on getting people's meds out that they need and that are not so rude. read more

While I haven't had all bad experiences with this store, I can say that the staff tend to be very rude at times, especially over the phone. On hold as I type this. Had a very short question, but after nearly 15 minutes on hold am hanging up and taking my business to another store. Try better Rite Aid. This is happening too often. read more

Worst pharmacy in town, completely incompetent customer service. Lady at the counter was more interested in talking on her cell phone and complaining about her ex-boyfriend for 10 minutes while customers waited. Go to Albertsons or Wal-Mart or anywhere else in town and you'll get better service. read more

Slow and rude - not a positive combination. Anna(?) at the pharmacy check-in is always snippy. This is bad in and of itself, but she is also inaccurate and is uninterested in listening. Consequently, she has gotten information wrong, both insurance-related and regarding the prescription itself. When corrected, she is defensive and raises her voice. She NEVER apologizes for her errors. I have used the pharmacy 4 times (once for vaccines for myself and my foster children) and the behavior from Anna has been the same each time. I've also had plenty of time to observe her interactions with other patrons while cooling my heels in the waiting area. Rudeness and arrogance are her default. The other pharmacists and techs seem to be phoning it in - very little above automaton-like interactions. Bottom line, there are plenty of pharmacies in Grants Pass. Why go to one where you will be treated poorly and have to constantly double-check what they're doing? read more

Usually the clerk in the pharmacy is very helpful. She wasn't there and the guy who worked with me had horrible customer service skills and instead of trying to listen he got caught up in defending their lack of follow through. It ended with him refusing to give me the scripts I did have ready. This will be my last visit to this pharmacy. Turns out the pharmacist in Medford didn't do her job the night before.
