I used to go to lil' Pantry almost every day before work. People were nice, got my gum and water there, and sometimes snacks. Fast forward to like May. Snobby, self righteous cashiers, and charging ten cents per gallon more if I use my debit card for gas (because everyone carries cash right?) Anyways, I was in a bind. I forgot to go to Fred Meyer and get gas, so I had to stop at Lil' Pantry. The gas pumper came up and said "ugh. Your window is disgusting!" And started washing my window. First off, I had just driven forever and haven't had a chance to wash my new truck. It's not like I'm driving some piece of crap car, it's new ya know? It had a couple bugs on it from the highway. Anyways, gas pumper, nobody asked you to wash my window. Nobody asked for your comment about how a tip would be nice, but after your attitude, I wouldn't tip you if you were the last person ever in the world. Two stars for the guy (also someone who pumps gas) that looks maybe italian? Maybe Hispanic? Anyways one of the two for always being cheerful, even when you have to work with grouchy over there. One star for the owners daughter for being pleasant. Haven't seen her in awhile, but she gets a star too. read more

Stop giving these people money. Absurdly high prices, terrible management, can't keep inventory in stock, ever. None of the staff want to be there. Go across the street to market & deli. A much better store. read more

hey we are black folks who came to Oregon for family we deciding to get groceries and snack and came to decided to come to lil pantry and good experience and all but some things were odd one of the cashiers we're being weird my was trying to buy cigarettes the cashier told us we all needed an ID. me 13, cousin 11, brother 19, mom 45 my mom said these kids are my kids and that they don't need an ID because the cigarettes are for her she proceeded to go on her walkie-talkie and talk to the manager and told us we need to leave. read more

One of the WORST experiences I've EVER had in my life as a customer at a business was at this store!!! I was told to, "Get the F*** out of MY store" by the young cashier at 7am on a Sunday morning. Why??? Because I told her to, "Have a nice day" not once after being ignored when I said it, not twice but THREE times of me saying it as I was leaving the store & that was her response. When I told her that no, I wasn't leaving "her" store until I spoke with her manager, the lady I passed on the way into the store that was RIGHT next to the front doors on her phone & SMOKING A CIGARETTE refused to speak to me first, instead she let her employee scream & yell (in the middle of the store & now EVERYONE there is stopped & watching this circus, employees & customers alike) & tell her how "that tweeker" (referring to myself) wouldn't leave the store when I was told to (I already paid for all my things & was on my way out the door anyways). The manager who was SO hard to understand because of her broken English kept trying to over talk me until I finally just calmly repeated over & over & over the same question, "Ma'am, is your employees actions in the last 2 minutes acceptable???" After having to ask this 3 times in a row, I got a very quiet "No" for an answer. I told her that there was nothing else I wish to speak with her about except for needing the name & contact info for her manager. She wrote that down for me & I left, absolutely sick to my stomach from the humiliation of it all!!! I won't even go into everything else that happened as I was checking out with said employee from earlier in my post but I will say that one of her LOUD remarks as she was ringing me up was that, "You're paying with an Oregon Trail card" but it was more of a statement then a question because I had other non food items as well as food items. Not understanding why it was nessecary for her to even make that statement I then told her, "No, I'm paying for everything with cash, thank you"...so yeah, I've worked in customer service my entire life which is over 20 years of experience being a waitress at several local restaurants, a manager of Dairy Queen, a checker at Price Chopper & volunteered at the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility, so I'm pretty well versed in how appropriate customer service works much less how to engage with other human beings at the most basic level & the way I was treated was so far from those 2 things I don't even have the words to describe how despicable that whole ordeal went down!!! I miss all those stores & how things were ran when Dave still owed them all. I will NEVER go back there EVER again!!! read more

it cost $10 for 6inch sub it would nice if the bread was fresh,It completely fell apart

Service sucks and employment is even worse paying little as possible and no PTO or any other benefits.i work as a line cook now and still make 3 dollars more an hour the the managers so at Lil pantry do plus I get PTO holiday pay and tips daily and actual raises.which I worked at Lil pantry for a year and half and got not shit.alsovif you get injured on the job and it was their fault they put you on workers comp for a week or two the fabriquate false shit to fire you and if this has happened to you . You have a strong lawsuit Case so don't bend over and take it please.sorry but treat your staff with respect and you get happy paying and returning customers with good attitude and reviews that's just the standard dumbass moto lol read more

Attitude when ordering off the menu and not eating the food in the display case. If you order off the menu the staff charges whatever price they feel being inconvenienced. Prices subject to change at the cooks discretion. Nothing like being overcharged because the cook doesn't want to do their job. When you order the cook mentions "it will be 20 minutes or more for your order, do you still want it?" Then you are charged $2 more for the item than listed on the menu without notice. read more

If you need to fill up on gas, go somewhere else. This place has horrible customer service and they don't hold their gas attendants responsible for their actions. On Jan 2nd 2018, I went to get $5 worth of gas and told the attendant that's what I wanted. He ended up filling my tank for over $30 worth of gas. I tried to dispute things inside but the manager on duty wouldn't do anything about it and just said she would pass things on. I went to their main office and the head manager their was very rude to me. After reviewing, she refused to refund me any money. Yes I did get the gas and used it, but the fact of the matter is that this business has shady business ethics. Also their customer service sucks. I am a customer who is stuck here at their mercy because of their prepay at pump only policy and them refusing to do anything about it. So again DO NOT do business here if you want gas. read more

I am so pleased that I can now go to Lil Pantry on Rogue River Avenue and have a very pleasant experience. Staff is now GREAT! Service for gas is prompt and courteous. Ice cream is frozen and not partially thawed as was the case over a year ago. I can now grab the ingredients for my root beer shake, check out promptly with a courteous cashier and leave happy. Thank you Lil' Pantry. read more

The part about this that pisses me off the most is that these sandwiches can actually be good. The problem is they don't weigh the meat leading to inconsistency. Like this sandwich here 4 slices of roast beef? Hands down not worth 8 dollars. I love these markets but for crying out loud it's a joke. You never know what your gonna get from visit to visit. read more

Lil' Pantry - It sure would be nice if they would weigh the meat. 4 slices I'd say every other time you get a crap sandwich. - Convenience Stores Near Me - Grants Pass, Oregon

Had one bad experience with the day manager around 3 pm on 6-19-2021. My husband and I were out and realized the gas was running near empty. The attendant seemed to unscrew the gas cap and put the pump in. then , a few minutes later he asked if we wanted a receipt. My husband, who was very sick said no. When we drove off we realized no gas had been put in the car even though the attendant had taken a credit card from us and returned it. I tried to call the manager today and explain what had happened. He was not at all receptive about attendants NOT asking you if you want a receipt before even beginning to fill the car with gas. I couldn't seem to get this across to him, nor did he apologize. In the last 3 months we bought the car wash and the equip. was not working-the windows were filthy when we brought the car home. My husband spoke to the manager about this, and the manager explained that the initial spray down for the car was not working. The manager should have refunded our money for the deficient car wash. This was at the Rogue River Li'l Pantry. read more

I go there every morning and they are very sweet and we have a lot of fun joking around they always make me feel welcome..

Wish I could give this place a zero. Customer service is horrible. Whatever you do don't get your car washed here. Lawsuits by several are looming for car damage that has not been responded to. Horrible customer service. The worst. Stay clear. read more

I couldn't believe how horrible this company is!!! Their food was terrible, the service is severely lacking, and the prices can be ridiculous. I shouldn't have to repeat myself and have my sandwich remade 4 TIMES!!! That is beyond stupidity. Also, they didn't care about anything. The hot food case is normally really dry, the floors have trash, and the counters are normally sticky. I will not be giving this company as a whole my business again. read more

STOP! Do not give you money to these people! We stopped here to get gas and make a pit stop. They would not let us use the restroom, saying they don't have restrooms for the general public. I pointed out that I'm not the general public, I'm a paying customer. The clerk just repeated herself emphatically with sarcastic and rude demeanor.@6 read more

It's clean & nice & has a beer cave. Staff is not very friendly, so go for the beer cave.

I'm done with these guys. Bitchy attitudes have driven me away for good. Good stuff but I don't contribute to people or companies who think they can get away with bad customer service. Subway it is read more

I have been coming here quite regularly for several months. What I have noticed is that some of the cashiers are very nice while there is one that is not so nice. She is abrupt and impatient. I purchases sandwiches quite frequently and I find that there is an inconsistency in how they make the sandwiches. I have had some amazing sandwiches filled with a lot of meat plus the fixings, but I have also had sandwiches where there was very little meet with a lot of fixings. I have had a Baja Roast Beef where they put in only 2 slices of roast beef, almost no avocado, and so much lettuce and tomato that the sandwich was more like a salad than a sandwich. For $9 the sandwich should have a lot more meat. read more

Can't get cash discount for gas inside. The employees didn't tell me until I asked why the price was different. Very rude. The older woman who worked the pump on 9/25 in the morning was quite rude. I will not go back. I hope the hundreds I will now not spend in your stores, was worth the extra $1 your employees tried to swindle out of me. read more
