It is apparently commonly prescribed, but there is NO warning on the label about how poisonous it is. The common warning " May be fatal if your pet licks or ingests" is printed on the box in small type. Not only was I not told the product is a poison at the time I bought it at Fred Meyers Pharmacy, but when I went back to the store to tell the pharmacy manager that my dog, along with 99% of all dogs who lick or ingest it, die, her response was "I've never heard of that in twenty years as a pharmacist, I'm sorry" with a dismissive gesture and tone. I think that a pharmacist, especially the manager of the pharmacy, ought to be educated as to what the pharmacy is dispensing. It makes me think that this pharmacy is lacking in basic care about its clientele, and in education about what it sells.

And three days later the prescription arrived. Who knows what the post office did with it or whose fault it was. This month there was no notification so I called in and they no longer have that prescription in their system according to the automated system. I waited on hold for 20 minutes going round and round in the system on the phone to talk to a pharmacist whoI was never able to reach. I don't understand this. You're a business who is responsible for peoples health. So we're going to a different pharmacy after two years of trying to negotiate with this one.

"Service" Drug is an oxymoron…read more The best thing they have going for them is their greeting card selection. It's better than the grocery store on the far north end of town. Their pharmacists have an unnecessary air of superiority about them and there seems to be quite the turnover in "counter" people. I've noticed that for those with private insurance the service is a little better, maybe 3 stars. For those on public assistance (Oregon Health Plan), the service is (maybe) one star and for those in between ... the uninsured, paying cash, two stars. I take my business elsewhere.

Therapist suggested one type of mask to try which was ok, she said I could bring it back if I didn't like it. In the mean time the mask just didn't work for me. The therapist said try this one. It was perfect. Since this time I have tried to get a replacement mask. No one at Ricks or the supplier sending replacement masks could provide me with the number. Their third party sent a whole new box with the origin and wrong Mack from the beginning. I have been to Ricks four times. I was there and spoke with one of their employees last Thursday. I'm angry. I raised my voice as I was explaining it nicely after complimenting the two up front. One if which I started talking to her last October. so-called older supervisor lady wearing the same hair style as she did in high school threatens to call the police on me. Mind me I've complimented them, I thanked them of what they were for trying to help. Is this the customer service you want? The most unprofessional so-called supervisor I've ever met.

I gravitated towards Rick's Medical Supply because I needed a wheelchair and through my insurance,…read morethe turn around seemed like a day or two before delivery. It's a lovely wheelchair rental and I feel like I definitely got a great value. However, my insurance went with another company to get me a hoyer lift and fully electric hospital bed and it was a week and a half. My mobility was decreasing at a quick rate and the pressure when onto the shoulders of my parents. I needed that equipment and I needed it now. I finally reached out to Rick's as a consumer willing to pay thousands if I needed to get that equipment today. Ebony answered my call and more. She tried to advocate me to try again with insurance and then offered that if I rented this month, then to send the docs orders to her and she would go after the insurance in my place. She also said they only had a hydraulic hoyer lift, but I could use that and they would order a fully electric one that, when it comes in, I can switch to. These are expensive machines too! She stayed late, came in on her day off, and was just overall amazing. If the rest of Rick's employs other people like that, I can only imagine that the owners and upper management must be so proud of them. I got the medical equipment today, just two days after i reached out. Thanks Rick's!
