I decided to post because I see not only did the manager or owners or anyone reply to any of the negative reviews about the pharmacy, the problem is obviously still ongoing and I believe perhaps due to newer employees. After three attempts at getting a valid rx sent by my doc three times because the pharmacy kept claiming they didn't have it- I'm sure something fishy is up. First they say they didn't get it. Then they say I don't have insurance. (Clearly not true showing my valid insurance cards and calling the insurance company.) then they say ok we will Give you 4 pills until you figure it out? Me figure what out? The doctor and the insurance company say it's the pharmacy and I believe it now with all the weird statements and claims I've received from pharmacy. And they won't sell it to me without insurance even if that was true which isn't ok if they have the order from doc. Called insurance back 3rd time and they say pharmacy states they filled it for 3 mos and I picked it up. Someone is screwing with me and I'm so upset that the pharmacy does not give a crap and will do nothing on their end to fix it. The insurance lady said nothing they can do it's there issue. Trying again to get it later and online it now says waiting for me to pick it up then another order says being filled. Definitely need a new pharmacy this one has me done! Too bad because I also spent money on other things when I'd go. No more. And no more recommending them. Sad. People who run important businesses that can seriously alter one's health without proper service should give customers some help in this area rather than ignoring the obvious issues. Self-checkout has multiple lanes open, I gravitate there. I pick baby supplies, variety of discounted veggies, start unloading & scanning, to which the self-checkout cashier runs over seemingly irritated I was there with my child and plants, and asks me to go to a "regular check-stand" because she has to do xyz for each individual xyz... okay? so I reload all the plants with no help offered, and cruise over to a regular check-stand. Instead of unloading each plant, I remove all the tags and place them in a neat pile on top of a box of diapers to make it simple for the cashier to scan and she freaks out over an ant on the plant tag, then starts individually asking me about each plant, taking them out, grumbling about the lack of labeling and dirt. I genuinely hate shopping here because of the employees. Sushi department is always friendly. I wish it had its own Yelp separate from the store.

It is apparently commonly prescribed, but there is NO warning on the label about how poisonous it is. The common warning " May be fatal if your pet licks or ingests" is printed on the box in small type. Not only was I not told the product is a poison at the time I bought it at Fred Meyers Pharmacy, but when I went back to the store to tell the pharmacy manager that my dog, along with 99% of all dogs who lick or ingest it, die, her response was "I've never heard of that in twenty years as a pharmacist, I'm sorry" with a dismissive gesture and tone. I think that a pharmacist, especially the manager of the pharmacy, ought to be educated as to what the pharmacy is dispensing. It makes me think that this pharmacy is lacking in basic care about its clientele, and in education about what it sells.

It is a five minute or less phone conversation to find out if they are refilling a prescription or if not I can cancel it, so I can get it sent to the right pharmacy. instead, I have to load up my newborn baby and drive all the way down there to stand in line to have a less than five minute conversation to find out if I can cancel this prescription or not because they will not answer their phone.

Last month, the automated system informed me that they could mail the prescriptions so I filled out…read morethe form online. The next day it asked me to fill out the same form. And then the next day again. The prescription did not show up in time and these are vital prescriptions. The kind that if you miss a dose, your system goes haywire. so I drove the 20 miles into town to speak with them. I had called and been assured that it would be waiting. However, because it had been picked up by the post office five days previously and we didn't know where it was they couldn't refill it but they could sell me some over the counter. OK. And three days later the prescription arrived. Who knows what the post office did with it or whose fault it was. This month there was no notification so I called in and they no longer have that prescription in their system according to the automated system. I waited on hold for 20 minutes going round and round in the system on the phone to talk to a pharmacist whoI was never able to reach. I don't understand this. You're a business who is responsible for peoples health. So we're going to a different pharmacy after two years of trying to negotiate with this one.

Plus they do not give you a tear off stub to submit with your check. No option for on-line payment.
