My husband needed specialty scan and this is the nearest location to us that performs. He was very happy with his experience. The center was on time our experience has been that most run late. The tech was especially patient with him and made sure he was comfortable throughout. They have what is called a Kind tube (larger than the average tube) which made the experience less claustrophobic. The results were available within 72 hrs (PSMA scan takes more time) Peggy was instrumental in helping get the results to both of his doctors. Took over a month to get scheduled after many calls to the doctor. Was supposed to get a message with date time and address, never got anything. Showed up a little early to get paperwork done. Waited for over an hour. No one talked to us the entire time. The waiting room was kept really cold. One lady had to ask for a blanket. The music they were playing was way louder than needed. Once my daughter went back the technicians were really nice and did a good job. When you make an appointment they expect you to be on time, why are they not held to the same standard. read more

I went in for an MRI on my neck. The 2 techs were anything but helpful!! Th they had already put the pillows for my legs on the bed making it impossible to get on. As I struggled I fell back and hit the neck support right on my neck.(fussed C2- 6 from an accident and am in constant). The support had NO padding and was thin hard plastic. As I'm writhing in pain the techs just stood there. no help what so ever, I have a huge bruise now and more pain issues. They didn't even want to help get up after it was done. So glad I drove 80 miles and passed a perfectly good imaging center to this. I had to give you 1 star to do this but you don't even deserve that! You are horrible read more

Having a MRI isn't exactly a fun thing to do on any level. However the people who attended to me on my recent appointment were outstanding. Edna was the first person who greeted me and she was so kind and helpful, explaining everything I needed to know. The technician, Theresa, was also very kind and explained what to expect and allowed me time to ask questions. This is not my first time at OAI so I feel I can tell anyone who is reading this review that it is the best imaging center I have ever experienced. read more

Honestly, I cringe at giving this place even one star. I also can't comment on what their expertise is as I was never allowed to go in. And thus, one dumb star for these guys, very sad. To make a long story short, I had a back injury (car accident) and got a referral from my doctor for an MRI. My doctor sent over orders to OAI and told me to wait for them to schedule. Well, I waited and waited and never heard from them so I called to find out what was up. I heard excuses like "we are understaffed" or "waiting on Insurance authorization". Keep in mind I'm in pain and two weeks have gone by since they received my doctor's orders. I remain patient and another two weeks go by with no word from OAI. I called my doctor to see if he could get any action. They told him a similar excuse and went on to say if my personal medical insurance wouldn't cover the $1,500 scan they would not make my appointment! Even though they already had authorization from my auto policy's personal injury protection (PIP) to cover the cost, they still did not allow me to get my MRI. So now a month and a half has gone by, I can barely move some days and I still have not been scheduled for imaging. This place is more concerned about making sure they get their $$$ than caring for an injured patient. I would never ever go to this place and I suggest you too go elsewhere. There are many MRI machines in the valley and I got great service at an imaging center in Grants Pass. read more

At the time I'm writing this, I actually haven't physically been in for my MRI. Sometimes though, you have the pleasure of dealing with someone over the phone who is so nice and deals with every issue that arises. In this case, wildfires and pandemic and an emergency on my end and a problem on their end. Callie was exceptional. I could almost see her smiling through the phone, and she handled everything so professionally while still having fun with me. Thank you Callie, you're simply the best! read more

I had an MRI following my doctors referral at CraterLake location. I had a little bit of trouble finding it because it sits next to the ER for Providence Hospital. I found a directional sign off Spring Street after driving around the parking lot and deciding to just park to see if I could find it. The care was excellent! The nurse on duty was amazing! If I have to say I enjoyed having an MRI, this one was very comfortable. I am claustrophobic so the nurse made me feel very comfortable. Thank you for a job well done. read more

Was told to go to the hospital and it was 2 doors down from the ER, get there and they tell me to go to the airport one, get there and they say oh you're supposed to be at the Providence one and now it's too late you missed your appt. Called and the lady said we always tell them which hospital, uh no you didn't actually and now sitting on hold for over 20 minutes now waiting for someone to answer the call to reschedule. NEVER AGAIN! Service was fine... HOWEVER, try to pay our bill... Next to impossible. The number that appears to be local is in Indianapolis Indiana. No one ever answers the phone and there is an option 2 to leave a message, but it does not allow you to leave a message. I kept pressing 2 and it would never accept the #2. Extremely frustrating to say the least. I will never use then in the future. I pay my medical bills with my HSA, health savings account. wow, i've had many different types of scans done over the years, but i've never been so impressed with an imaging company before. from beginning to end the staff i talked to were terrific. i called and spoke to lee to schedule the appt and learn about the prep - she was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. received a confirmation call from amber - who was also very helpful, knowlegeable and friendly. chris was the excellent specialist who explained the entire process, answered all my questions, expertly administered the injection (into my hard to find vein), and conducted the scan with calm, clear instructions. amber assisted chris and helped me get onto and off the 'table.' every person i interacted with was professional, courteous and welcoming. the icing was the snack bag amber gave me on leaving. so cool! water bottle, crackers with peanut butter and a bag or roasted/saled cashews. omg, so welcome, needed and tasty! read more

The front desk ppl are always friendly and helpful. They have an open MRI which is helpful if you're a little (or a lot) claustrophobic. They also have music available and/or earplugs for when you're in the MRI. They do give you the report free but they charge you for a disc with the images and the report, but if you ask they'll put a few on there. read more

I had an MRI done in January and the staff were great. The scheduling of the scan was a little crazy as they cancelled it once and then my doctor's medical assistant had to call them back and say schedule it ASAP because it should never of been cancelled (it was canceled because they were not reading the information correctly on the referral). They scheduled it for the next day. They were all very welcoming and introduced themselves which made me feel better. read more

I have been a patient here twice in the last year as cancer runs rampant in my family. I've paid every bill up front. I was called in December to schedule my January imaging and was told "well you probably won't have met much of your deductible that early in January so you'll probably owe the full amount which will be $1000." I told her that I couldn't afford that this time around and so we agreed on a payment schedule of $200 upfront and then $86 a month until the bill was satisfied. I arrive for my appointment and the lady at the front desk tries to get me to sign something saying that I'm going to pay $1750... But that wasn't what was discussed. They told me that 1750 is actually my deductible and that since none had been met, I'd be responsible for the full balance. I know how deductibles work and I get that, but even more so couldn't afford all of it. I asked to speak to an insurance person... Because why would somebody verify my deductible for December when they themselves made my appointment for January? What a waste of time. So they gave me a financial assistance packet that I had to fill out. The lady told me that they do their own in house financials and the manager might be able to write off some of the bill. OK, so I filled it out, got months of bank statements, got months of both my paystub's and my husband's... And after all that and two weeks they refused to help me because of my daughters college fund. They told me that they will not give me any financial assistance until I blow through my daughter's college fund. Which we will absolutely not. This company is disgusting. The "manager" was extremely condescending and acted like she was really enjoying her "power" while denying me over the phone. So instead of helping someone and making $1000, they get nothing and really showed that it's not actually about patient care, it's about greed and money. Shame on them. read more

One and a half years later............received a bill for $2192 stating insurance was denied. Spent much time on phone with my insurance confirming that bill had been paid, the month following service, in full, at contracted amount. Eight months later they rebilled my insurance after the deadline to submit claims. Now they are wanting payment from me for a bill that has already been paid. If my bill was not paid in full, why did they finally issue my co-pay refund? This was for service in August of 2014. This company is seriously messed up!! Please save yourself the headaches and seek other places in Medford to get these services. read more

We were there to get my 4yr old a MRI which was already extremely worrisome and stressful. I watched many people check in and the older receptionist was so rude (I'll get back to her later) and showed no compassion for anyone walking in those doors. Obviously most people coming in to get a X-ray or MRI are already not having a good day to say the least. Moving on, We waited an hour without anyone letting us know they were running behind, we FINALLY here my daughters name! We do the MRI (the techs were fine) we got back up front and my husband asks the rude receptionist " how do we go about getting the images on a disk?" And her reply in a sarcastic voice is " u ask, can I get the images on a disk". Listen I can take a joke but this was almost belittling not to mention I'm here getting a MRI on my 4yr old daughter to check for a brain tumor, I'm not really in the f****** mood for your rude sarcastic "joke". Anyway I actually kept my mouth shut because I just wanted to get home and be with my daughter but I now regret not letting her know how rude she is. What goes around comes around lady, u one day will need care and it could be the scariest day of your life , I hope no one treats u like u treated every patient in that office today. read more
