There were (3) separate jobs scheduled (deck, sunroom, flooring in sunroom). All of the work was completed before the projected date. Cons: 1. Building material options/offering on offer during the consultation period was limited. A) A 18/16 mesh screen was installed. We would've preferred a 20/20 mesh density to prevent gnats from entering the space. We had to re-install 20/20 mesh screens from another company at the cost of 1400.00. This was a missed talking point of discussion during the consultation phase in our view. B) The presented Trex board options for the deck was limited to 3 material choices. We would've preferred to see a larger variety of the deck colorway options (samples). The color sample provided for selection isn't as forgiving of foot traffic & surface debris as we would preferred. 2. The installation work was scheduled randomly. We received 'day of' calls to get the work completed. I think this translated into the work detail being rushed to meet the production schedule of other jobs. Some quality of the workmanship (finer details) went overlooked/lacking as a result. Ex. Gapped installation on the Trex boards primarily at corner edging in some instances (see close up pics).

Each time I spoke to other companies they sounded really annoyed that they had to answer the phone let alone possibly have to answer any potential customer questions. That's when I found Choice Pool & Spa's number and when a gentleman answered the phone from there I knew very quickly I had called the right place. Instead of immediately trying to sell me something, he walked me through what troubleshooting steps I had already taken, he offered his free advice all while reminding me a couple times to make sure I have the power turned off before I attempted any more tests. He knew what he was talking about and obviously cared about my safety. Ultimately I did need a tech to come out after I exhausted my efforts and you can bet I called Choice Pool back today and they had a tech to my house in less than an hour. Amazing.

I was surprised to see that my coping stones had heaved up and broke and the water was very close to the edge. It's obvious the water got under the coping, froze, and heaved up the stones causing them to crack. I contacted Rising Sun and provided photos and they refused to take any responsibility. I asked why they no longer lower the water even though their website recommends it and met with a response of "we just don't think it's necessary". The real answer is that it simply saves them time. I won't be doing business with them any longer.

I purchased a LG washing machine from Lowes with installation, parts and service. My existing LG…read morewashing machine was about 12 years old and the motor and motor control failed. The replacement machine arrived safely and on time. The installation crew was polite and conscientious. They quickly removed the old machine as I had purchased recycling service. The BIG problem occurred when installers refused to install the new machine on the LG drawer pedestal( that was under the failed machine). They claimed it was against company policy. That means that the nearly 200 lb washing machine would have to sit on the floor. This placement made it nearly impossible for us to use with our back problems. Also there was no way we could even pick the heavy machine up and place it on the pedestal ourselves. My wife was prepared to have them box it up and return it to Lowes. After a bit of a cool-down, we decided that though Lowes installation policy was incompetent, we would accept the delivery and hire someone private to help us mount the washer on its pedestal. WARNING: If you must use Lowes installation services, consider grilling the installation department on all aspects of a what is performed with installation service prior to purchase or look at other vendors carrying the same product.

I have driven there to many times just to find out i cannot get what I need. Lately, I call ahead to see if the saw is working, but the last two times, (after the recording asks if I want to know about the lumber inventory in Charlotte) the phone just rings and rings. This time, after 15 minutes, I just drove out there. The saw was of course broken. It was hard to find anyone to even ask. I need to find a better store.
