I DO RECOMMEND CAPITOL POOL FOR A NEW POOL AND/OR FOR SERVICE…read more Capitol Pool installed our pool 9 years ago, the pool is still in perfect condition, no crack , concrete or wall move, no liner or pool bottom deformation , like I have seen with some competitors pool owned by friends or neighbors. I have stayed in touch with Capitol Pool for the past 9 years but I like to do things by myself , so I have not been the perfect customer asking Capitol Pool to do all the maintenance for me. I do my own pool water testing and do all the technical maintenance by myself. What I have extremely appreciated with Capitol Pool is that even if I am not asking them to do the maintenance and not buying tones of products or equipment every years, they have always considered me like a first citizen customer, giving me outstanding advice and offering very competitive price for everything I bought. As an example, I got a leak from my diatome filter which was draining diatome powder back inside the pool, and I was ready to change the complete filter screen, but the shop owner (Ben) just told me to change the little plastic valve at the top of the filter, and this was the problem, I am not sure that all pool maintenance company would have done the same advice. At another occasion, I got stain on my liner, and the employee (Josh) gave me the right chemical to cure the problem. At another time I got phosphate in the pool and my chlorinator lost a lot of efficiency, again Capitol Pool found the problem and helped me to solve it. More recently my vacuum cleaner was not working, Capitol Pool fixed it, changed the motor very quickly, and I got the vacuum back the day after having brought it to their shop. And in addition I was few day close to the end of the warranty, and nothing was argued or said about that by Capitol Pool. I could write much more about the help and good services I have received from Capitol Pool during these 9 years, the list goes one and one, the shop owner is very professional, and his team is very well managed by him, and very knowledgeable, as a result it's always a pleasure to interact with them. A lot of contractors have worked on my house and property, and I can say that Ben is one of the very few that I will recommend for new projects, or for services.

They found more issues upon closer inspection. Specifically more leaks. 2. They fixed all of the leaks. 3. They addressed the plumbing mistakes and fixed them. 4. They addressed any equipment issues that came up in the interim. In the end, they did stand behind all of the deficiencies, even though it took a long time to get them all fully resolved. My pool is now fully functional, and we love it. Had I gone with a 'fly by night' company to build our pool, I may have had quality issues as well. At least with A&S they stay in business over the long term and, ultimately, stand behind the work. While the initial quality was low on my particular project, I now have the fully functional pool I always wanted. I give them credit for standing behind their warranty.

After polling my neighborhood where there are several in-ground pools for referrals I went to visit a locally owned and operated company right here in Fuquay Varina. So glad we did! From the moment I stepped in their office, I was treated with utmost respect, no pressure or sales tactics, a welcoming environment, and a plethora of patience and information. We even had a few laughs. No stress! After the initial visit, I returned with my husband. Cannot tell you the countless hours we asked questions, looked at different pools, got quotes and much more. We just knew we were at the right place. No further need to investigate anyone else's offers. (Some of the other companies spoke harshly about their competition and that was a huge turn off) My husband and I continued to ask many questions over a few months. When we saw the final product at our neighbors house, we knew that was going to be an easy choice. From then on the process was made simple and seamless. We agreed to terms, we signed contracts, got final quotes, we fully understood the magnitude of this project and the start date. So many day-to-day decisions had to be made and careful planning was needed for every meticulous detail. Happily our project came out above and beyond our expectations. We had to add additional fencing to keep our dog out of the pool, so we wouldn't worry about her jumping in, especially during winter when she goes out to potty. If he gives you a low price it's because he's cutting corners. He is well known for it by other companies in this area who have to fix his mess.
