I called a few spa places around town looking for either a part or someone to come out and service my hot tub. Each time I spoke to other companies they sounded really annoyed that they had to answer the phone let alone possibly have to answer any potential customer questions. That's when I found Choice Pool & Spa's number and when a gentleman answered the phone from there I knew very quickly I had called the right place. Instead of immediately trying to sell me something, he walked me through what troubleshooting steps I had already taken, he offered his free advice all while reminding me a couple times to make sure I have the power turned off before I attempted any more tests. He knew what he was talking about and obviously cared about my safety. Ultimately I did need a tech to come out after I exhausted my efforts and you can bet I called Choice Pool back today and they had a tech to my house in less than an hour. Amazing. read more

We purchased a jacuzzi from Choice Pool and Spas. Needless to say, we have had nothing but problems with it since we got it. Johnna was the person that sold us the jacuzzi. She is a great sales person but not a good problem solver or help getting her product taken care of but is great at passing the buck And saying I never said that (but in her words of course) I think Choice Pool and Spas, Eileen and Johnna, just hand the phone to each other in the store to try and appease the customer. 1. Built our deck to specs given to us by our sales rep. 2. Met the delivery person at our home and my husband helped get it put in spot where THEY leveled it with 2x4's. Pretty sure that is not the way to do it. 3. Leaked so bad it would shut the motor off 4. SECOND Repair person said pump was put in backwards when they manufactured it and would need to replace it. But would not come back until we pulled the jacuzzi out because he did not want to access it from the side of the deck that they gave us the specs for! Front of jacuzzi with motor completely open, sides had to be accessed by deck. 5. Sent pics and description of issues to Choice Pool and Spa Facebook chat when Eileen stopped returning phone calls and texts. I have had several phone calls with Eileen who said their people would NEVER tell us anything like that, or level it the way they did (I have video of them doing it) 6. Jacuzzi does not have blue tooth but we bought one with blue tooth 7. Cover comes loose on all sides and pops out. Foam inserts come out and frame has never stayed together. Now it's warped and bent. 8. The side cover screws don't stay on 9. Foam slides out of the side cover 10. The electrician said it might be shutting off due to water getting into the electrical. 11. The programming on the screen doesn't work either Probly most concerning for us is their lack of urgency to handle these issues And the fact they don't seem to care if anyone gets electrocuted in their jacuzzi. Water on the motor is NOT safe. If it was manufactured incorrectly WHY would they just not replace the jacuzzi? They delivered the wrong one anyway. LONG LONG LONG STORY short, we finally gave up getting it fixed so they won. It's exactly what they were hoping for. Wear us down, run out the warranty. SAD we waited 10 years to buy a jacuzzi. We didn't finance it, just paid for it and that's another reason they could care LESS. Our jacuzzi has been used a handful of times. Now it sits pulled out on the concrete pad waiting to be fixed by some very dishonest retailer that doesn't call you back and basically calls you a liar. It is sitting in the weather, heat, cold, wind, jacuzzi lid ruined on top of it. We had to tear up our brand new deck to put it where the repair person told us too. It went from being covered and protected to being subjected to all of the elements. To add more salt to the wound we need to rebuild the deck. Are they going to pay for that? NOOOOO... I can't post pics of the water that was inside around the motor because it drained out when he pulled the sides off. DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. DISHONEST TO THE CORE. I waited months to write this review to see if I would cool down and I just get more frustrated as time goes by. I hope this review helps anyone that may walk into their store. read more

We should have known better. It was horrid. It was a 4 month debacle. It really put a dent in the whole excitement of getting a hot tub, I felt defeated. Finally we got the whole Spa Blowout debacle straightened out and started looking again for a hot tub, locally. There were a couple more hot tubs we considered, from other local stores but none of them had what I really needed for therapy. I continued my search, then I found Johnna at Choice Pool & Spa. I was written a prescription by my neurologist to get a hot tub for medical reasons. I had a very specific criteria of requirements for the hot tub. I didn't care about speakers or lights - just 100% for therapy. I went to see Johnna and told her what I was looking for, etc. We found the perfect hot tub within minutes. As soon as I saw it I knew it was the one. It had more than what we were looking for, it was cheaper, included delivery, and their service people are maybe 15 minutes from my home. We bought the hot tub, and it was delivered and installed in about one week. Not one single problem!! It was seamless!!! Wish I could give an actual review. We visited today and received the worst customer service! We have cash in hand ready to purchase and we walked around the small showroom for 20 minutes. Not once were we acknowledged. Nothing. One older man played on the computer while the other lady helped a customer who came in with us. She didn't greet us, even to say someone would be with us soon. They had a help wanted sign but they don't need it. what's the point if the sad sacks that work there don't care anyway. We had a great experience purchasing a hot tub at choice Pool and spa. After being told that there would be a 6 to 12 month wait at two competitors due to the pandemic we came here. Johnna is one of the best sales people I have ever dealt with. She is very friendly, informative, helpful, patient and honest. After hours of online research, I wanted to buy a USA made Aspen spa model, which was a new brand for this site. Instead of making the quick sale, she volunteered to have this model set up so I could test it out. I did and I loved it. Delivery was done quickly, for free and efficiently. They were able to maneuver it through my 40 inch fence doorway. It was a minor problem with my LED lights and it came out the same day to fix it. We have been in an almost every day since Christmas and have had no problems at all. We are enjoying it immensely. Avoid. Comedy of errors: 1. Dug hole incorrectly, then attempted to charge me for the extra materials. Scott was in Atlantic City during this. Most installers would be on site to ensure the dude with the backhoe knows what he is doing, not Scott. Pick them and and leave them to their own devices. 2. Installed pool valves backwards (yep, backwards). 3. Managed to use an electrician that doesn't know to use a GFI outlet next to 15000 gallons of water. Textbook way to fail an inspection 4. Don't expect any kind of training in your purchase, it isn't what they do 5. Don't expect any kind of help or direction, it isn't what they do 6. If you yell loud enough they may help you 7. 2 years in and the piping that was installed (incorrectly) still needs to be re-routed. Scott agreed to fix in January (after 2 months of arguing and denying and shifting blame to another nameless individual Scott recommended). Got angry when I contacted him in April to get an idea when he was planing to do it (yep, radio silent, then gets angry if you contact him 3 months later) End of the day. If you are forced to use them don't pay in full till you find out where all the corners are cut. From installing valves backwards, not pulling the pins on the electric valves, tons of electrical issue. Give me a yell if you have any questions. Classic. Incompetent. Not worth your time. read more
