You can never get anyone in the store to help you. The store is always out of stock on items that…read moreshould be in stock. I order online most of the time but always find things out of stock. Example: Fresh bread from bakery. I tried to order several different kinds of fresh baked bread and each time, they were out of stock. Not just one kind but every kind of bread. No one ever answers the phone at Walmart. Not only that, I have specific directions to where my house is located and my neighbors kept having to bring my groceries to me. Several times the groceries were not delivered at all because the delivery person could not find my house. I saw the delivery person right in front of my house, I like Walmart but it is getting the store seems not to care about their loyal customers.

Checkout is fast and painless, even when they've been busy at Christmas with very long lines. Don't dismiss the store as "cheap" even though it is. They get some really interesting items from time to time, with quality that's way over the price you pay. They had the same Arcoroc drinking glasses that I registered for when I got married, but at, well, only a dollar. I paid $14.99 for six of them when I used the department store registry! I was real happy to see them because I'd broken a couple over the years, and Hecht's no longer had them. Ditto for some Margarita glasses I found on one visit. Beautiful, heavy glass, restaurant quality and only a buck apiece. Can't beat that. The holiday decorations are always fun to shop - last year I bought some gold-painted china Christmas ornaments that looked like they were made by Lenox! Nobody had to know I only paid a dollar for them! The craft aisle has interesting glassware, florals and candles. Come here for Halloween and Christmas candy, and stocking stuffers for the kids. Don't pay 1.59 for a candy bar or a soda at the gas station on the corner; come here instead. The staff is friendly and courteous and you can spend an hour or two just browsing. Well worth a visit.

The shopping center has two entrances, one of which includes a traffic light for easier access to the main road. It is in good condition with some security lighting. I was here in the morning so I couldn't tell you how well lit it might be, but the proximity to the highway means you should be especially aware of your surroundings. Every single encounter I've had, the associates are friendly and fast. The last time the employee actually gave me a feedback card so I could "grade" her. She was fabulous, in my opinion. I went just a few days ago and it was slower than normal, but still not an inconvenience. It appeared that only one employee was handling the pickup and this was causing a bit of backup. She, again, was super friendly.

When I arrive early this morning at the Clayton Walmart auto service center , where the tires were drop shipped , I'm told to take the tires to Discount Tire to have them mounted as they won't mount on aftermarket rims even though they're same size and material as factory wheels. I refused the tires and told them to return them since they broke our service agreement. Online customer chat service (offshore of course) was of no value. They refused to issue a receipt for the return or note it in my online account , only pointing me back to the store for paperwork (I didn't order from the store, but from the Walmart website). So today, Walmart has my tires, my money and the paperwork and refuses to complete the contract. Pro Tip: Go to a real tire store, not the Clayton Walmart excuse for a tire store. I guess there's a reason they had 8 service bays yet I was the only customer there.
