This place is Awesome! My two fur babies love coming to see "Ms. Teresa " Ace and Sadie are little pups that are very socially awkward toward strangers, but The Fetching Post is great with them, they were referred to me by my coworker, so it's 4 and counting with other coworkers now using them too. My daughter has used the boarding facility and her Big Larger than life....Pit Remy, she had a blast. It's a Good Place come check it out.

Rosco all fluffy and clean after being groomed.

My senior yorkie Rosco has been boarded at the Fetching Post and I also take him for grooming and sometimes he stays for daycare. Highly recommend, the people are nice and friendly and really care about the animals. No problems during any visit. His most recent visit was just a bath and touch up groom bc in the winter we let his coat grow longer for warmth-Rosco doesn't like to wear sweaters.

Since posting my review the manager has contacted me. She did everything she could to make this right. I may give them another try.

My neighbors use Blissful Paws and recommended. We contacted and u fortunately Gov Cooper had issued a close executive order for any non essential businesses due to COVID-19. I did reach out via email and received a quick response that once essential businesses were allowed to open, Boomer would be placed in the rotation. We weren't sure just how long that was going to be, so we attempted to groom Boomers long 3" hair ourselves..not bad, but def not professional. Received a text that a Blissful Paws was okay to start working again,,,,Yay!! Boomer has had spa day twice and he looks awesome each time,,,she does a wonderful job...is friendly, courteous, and knows what she's doing! We feel very very fortunate that our neighbors shared Blissful Paws with us! Highly recommend!!!

I…read morescheduled an appointment and was told to bring proof of rabies vaccination with me when I came. About a week prior to my appointment an employee called and said they had a cancellation so I was able to get my dog's haircut sooner. A day or two before my originally scheduled appointment I received a text notification reminder in reference to my initial appointment. I left a message stating I had already came and did not get anymore notifications about that appointment. The business is small and located downtown Knightdale. There is street parking in front of the business. Two chairs were located near the front counter and front door to sit and do paperwork. There are several pictures of dogs on the wall and there is a room located behind the front counter where the animals are groomed. When I arrived I checked in and had to fill out paperwork for my dog. I was also asked if it was ok to give my dog a treat. I was advised that for the appointment it would take 4 hours. When I dropped my dog off Johnell advised me that it would be longer. I was called approximately 4.5 hours after I dropped my dog off. Johnell asked me what type of cut I wanted and did a good job grooming my dog. When I went to pay I was charged extra because I was told that my dog moved a lot during the appointment.

I thought I was dealing with professionals. I've been taking my pets to Ruth's for several years…read more My recent visit was really disappointing. I dropped my dogs off for their appointment that I waited for over a month for a bath and nail trimming. When I picked them up it looked liked they didn't have a bath. She actually took a wet wipe to clean my dog behind and told me it was black heads. My older dog sheds usually after a bath frees him from shedding for about a week. Sadly to say my wife rubbed his back and had a hand full of hair. I'm sure that my dogs may not have even had a bath. The groomer admitted they were short on staff I noticed that it was just her and another worker. When I pointed out the issue to the helper he tried to ignore me and act like he didn't see anything. We shame on you if you can't do the job maybe you need to shut your doors until you have a staff that can do the job they are hired to do.

On two occasions I tried chain stores and said not to use a cage (it takes less than 10m to blow dry her), well they did it anyway and she freaked out and got sick. The groomer we worked with was pleasant and really responsive, she cut her per my specifications. Ruth's isn't overly crowded, her prices are very reasonable. Unlike a lot of large places, a full groom is just that, no adding on ear cleaning charges, or silly fees. The location has easy access to parking, they open early enough for a drop off on the way to work. They also offer a military discount.
