We lived here for about a year. It was amazing at the beginning until the management changed to Greystar. From then on, everything went downhill. Garbage cans were removed, requests were not responded. If we had guests over, there were no parking spots available. They never came to inspect our apartment before moving out. When we moved out, they took our whole deposit claiming that they need to repaint the whole apartment even though we had no scratches. We were only 2 ppl living in a 2 bedroom apartment with no pets. The way they handled our case was extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend living here unless you have to. read more

The apartment we checked out was spacious and beautiful with new appliances. We were helped by the best staff ! They went above and beyond for a great experience. My husband and i have toured this community 3 times each and each and every time the leasing gals didn't disappoint and because of their golden attitude and awesome customer service, my husband and I have finally decided on a beautiful 5th floor unit. We've spent the last 2 months searching for the perfect home and every place we toured never left an impression the way it did after viewing Rise. We actually fell in love with two units but unfortunately we can't have the best of both worlds. Soo hard to choose between two perfect units. Disappointed would be the best way to describe Jefferson Rise Apartments. Unfortunately this property does not have safety measures in place for their residents. Storage units have continuously been broken into, mail from the mailroom and in front of peoples homes stolen, and the property is not helpful in many of these situations because they do not want to accept any type of fault. Well this is where the problem lyes. Unfortunately many of these things are happening because the property has not taken the correct safety measures to secure the property or its residents. The hallways to the elevators are left open for anyone to access, and if by some miracle it's locked, well you can just get in through the stairwell. The gate that is supposed to guard your vehicle is broken half the time which allows for anyone to come in and out all day. Along with that, their cameras (only located by elevators) are not working properly so even if something happens, they cannot capture footage or willing to watch any footage to help you. When items like these have been brought to the properties attention, it has taken a week or more to even hear any type of response back as to how they will fix the issue, and even then no steps have been taken to protect their residents . So if you are looking to move to a safe, secure location Jefferson Rise is not it. read more

Apparently it's the Jefferson Projects... Let's just get to the point here - unless you just want to get duped into living in the nuisance that is Jefferson Rise, run far, far away. So much to tell, if you want the details: - they are managed by Greystar. Anything managed by that company is not focused on your living in a home with a great experience, but on collecting their money. They are attempting to become a national monopoly in apartment management. - They've used COVID to avoid their responsibilities of keeping the apartment grounds clean. The maintenance staff is cool but underpaid and overworked, while the leasing agents(there are too many of them) sit around for most of the day running reports I guess. The carpets look dingy, on every floor (well maybe not the 2nd floor where the model apartments are). Garbage is overflowing in the bins and there are weeks old pee stations near the elevators. - If you'd like to get assaulted and have no camera evidence to show, this is the place to be. No security cameras in a pretty desolate parking structure, and no phone signal or even WiFi to call 911 if you get a heart attack or, just get attacked. Oversight? Nope, it's because of cheapness. - The neighbors originally, good folks. Apparently their screening process has gone out the window because you're paying to live with people who have no idea how to live with any semblance of decency, will drive you nuts. I've almost been run over several times in the garage (ton of blind corners-great for speeding idiots apparently), reported it and got brushed off. - Emails recently have to remind residents not to leave garbage in front of their doors. Cause you know, we in the hood. A ton of college students running around, not adhering to COVID regulations. - Remember that lease you sign where you have a code of conduct, especially as far as noise is concerned? Well that only applies to some people. Ask them to enforce it, they give you a bs excuse about not being able to "prevent" people from breaching their contact. Well, what's the penalty? There isn't any. I lived between an aspiring interior decorator it seems, who would move furniture and stomp across the floor all day, including in the wee hours of the morning, and I had an aspiring Dj with a super bass below me. Complained for weeks and nothing was done. Other people breaching their lease, yet I was forced to spend $300 more a month to move again into another apartment. Either that or pay a break lease fees off two months rent. Eventually found out from-a previous leasing agent that the person above me had several complaints against her, and nothing was done. Other people just left. So two months and two bottles of migraine medication later, it sucked to be me. Pay up or continue to suffer. - Best of all, they don't respond to emails or phone calls until several days later (this was even before COVID). All of sudden they claim to be busy. They are so focused on selling apartments they forget about maintaining their promise to the people who've already signed. Weeks later after my transfer, I did my part but I'm still waiting on my mailbox keys, my new parking space, and for them to respond about a new storage space on my new floor. Sent quite a few reminder emails. -Staff attitude is generally patronizing (I guess they think people don't see/sense it). I've observed a staffer responding to a phone inquiry with several rolled eyes and sighs. If they are doing that for them, what about me? I also stand a better chance then responding to me here than to any emails or requests for a call back. - Did I mention that someone appears to be sleeping in one of the stairwells? Cushions and all. Talk about top class security for the building. Again, maybe they will do something about it if I write it here. I won't be trying to use the stairs to workout after seeing that. Not feeling safe. - I am sorely disappointed with this experience. I allowed myself to be duped by the excessively accommodating sales pitches and "friendly" responses, until you sign the contract. Then you're not worth anything. And to get out? Two months rent plus the current month's rent. Beware. - Other things to look out for: if you really insist on living here, you may not want to go on the ground floor, they had a major pipe burst and I would not be surprised if there is some incidence of mold on the first floor now. And again, the floors are paper thin. read more

I love this apartment building so much and that's why we moved in. Everything was going great, until they hired new staff that actually have no idea what's going on. Phone calls don't get answered so you have to go to the leasing office, your questions get ignored on a daily basis so you have to basically ask every single day in order for you to get an answer...and Erica...I just want to know who thought it was a good idea to hire her???? We never get any responses from her ever. Definitely looking into moving out because I can't renew a lease here with staff that doesn't know what's going on. If you ever need help with something, Liliane is great. Stay away from Erica; she'll just ignore you anyways. read more

I have lived here at Jefferson Rise for just over a year. The apartment is beautiful and the amenities are great! When I first moved in Rayleen, Natalie, Simon, and Ben were all amazing and extremally helpful with anything we needed to make our move- in and living experience great. Here is my honest experience with living in this apartment community: Apartment - The apartment is extremely beautiful. I loved that we had a GAS stove, dishwasher, wine fridge! However, after moving in we realized that the paint is extremally cheap, and by that I mean it stains easily from anything!!! (Water stains, hand/fingerprint stains) In addition this area has Hard water so even if you do all the recommended cleaning products for the dishwasher you will still need to rise and hand day your dishes because it leaves hardwater marks, especially on glass. We did love the units are insulated well and if you keep your window and doors closed it keeps the outside noise out pretty well. However, I can not say the same for the between floor units. You will hear EVERYTHING. We had a horrible experience with our upstairs neighbors, I still think elephants lived up there and that they never slept. Amenities - The community amenities are amazing!! The Pools was advertised as HEATED when we moved in, but about 2 months in it broke! (That was in November 2019) Now its a YEAR later and it is still broken!! (They say they can not get the part due to COVID. But it broke before Covid that is not an excuse) I wish we were able to use the amenities more. I do understand we are living in COVID times, but the management has reduced the hours of use from 9am to 6PM. That means if you are working normal hours you will not be able to use them. Which this defeats the purpose of paying in a high end apartment complex. Oh and you better be out of the amenity spaces because when the security comes around to kick you out and you don't leave right away. The MANAGEMENT tells him to tell us that they will CALL THE POLICE ON US!! I would wish that the management would work with Residents and creating a better solution. I also wish they provided us with the recourses they are getting their COVID closure information from. Because there are other apartments in the area that do not have the same closers and restrictions as they do here. This is the main reason we will not be releasing here, and we are not the only ones. Community - While living here we have met some great neighbors! I love the Care team (Tiffany and Evan), they do a amazing job on getting events going for the complex. The events before COVID were on FIRE!!! I am glad to say we are keeping some of our neighbors because we moving into our next apartment complex that works better with the community then they do here. I wish that we didn't live in these COVID times but it is what it is. Would not recommend paying premium prices for luxury living when you can't use them when you want to come home and relax. read more

So we lived here for a year. This is the updated review. The apartment itself is nice and I really liked the original crew in the office. Keep in mind that almost everyone left and the new crew need to learn some people's skill. Also the noise level is crazy here. If you want to be woken up in the middle of the night with loud musics and loud cars, feel free to stay here. It feels like college environment. The Maintanance crew though is the best. When we moved out, they made a mistake on our closing statement and it took two weeks to get the new one! Still had the old date on it though. I am a since girl so these things really bother me when official things are not accurate. Overall it was great at the beginning but we didn't renew because of so many issues specially the inconsiderate neighbors! read more

The Complex or rather the company and its buildings are run by amateur party planners not building managers. No call will ever be answered on the first try, nor will any messages ever be returned. Email's are also satisfactory and employees seem to come in to unlock the leasing office when they feel like. But don't worry, they'll make it up to you with Food Truck Wednesdays and Sunday Yoga. No one here bothered to manage the basic tenants of hospitality and apartment real estate and just skipped to planning amenities that they get to enjoy even more than the residents. The Rent notices do not come, they'd rather run up late fees than inform you somethings wrong. Security is a joke as I've had several packages stolen from my front door (Which is inside the complex meaning other residents are stealing from neighbors or the key fob doors are not doing there job). The Mail Room is supposed to be all hours like any mail room should be, but there's a glitch in the system that locks it with the rest of the amenities. I've told the office about this a dozen times and they always act like it's new information when I bring it up. I could go on, but the gist is this: This building is a facade of modern and luxury living being held up with glue and popsicle sticks that is not worth the trash tax, (don't get me started on the trash room problems). If you are looking for a team full of painted pleasant smiles and empty promises, Jefferson will Rise to the occasion. P.S. I never leave reviews but saw that we had 4 stars and knew that wasn't right and didn't want more people to be swindled into a contract by fake accounts. This semester I had a ton of textbooks to order and when I came down to the mail room to get them I couldn't find them anywhere. I had not set up parcel pending so I could not get into the lockers so I asked Kyla at the leasing office for help. She asked me to step aside for privacy and opened up the parcel that my textbooks were in! She's always so helpful with anything I need around the complex but especially here she saved me a few hundred bucks! read more

Visiting Jefferson Rise was such a great relief because the pictures they showed online was exactly what you see in person compared to other apartment websites. Safety was a key priority for the staff by making sure there were signs posted to wear a mask and provided hand sanitizer in leasing office. After touring the entire complex and different room layouts I was very eager to submit an application because this is a place I could call home. Everyone in the leasing office was very helpful answering questions and any concerns that I had. Love the fact that it is pet friendly. The reason I am only giving a 4 star rating is because there was a lot of back and forth going on during the application process due to miscommunication but all was resolved in the end and can't wait to start my new chapter in life at Jefferson Rise. read more

I have been living for 3 months now. It's been 3 weeks since We are getting pungent smell from the bathroom sink and nobody came to fix it. I have raised 3 maintenance request and went 2 times to complain in person to the leasing office. They act as if they care but nobody came to fix it until now. It's very agitating and awful to live here since the smell start to spread inside our house. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and won't extend my lease here as well read more

The Jefferson rise is a beautiful apartment complex with such outstanding amenities and staff, I have been living here for a few months now and it's been fantastic. Since the day I moved in here Ben the maintenance manager has taken the best care of me. Anytime I have ever had the smallest issue or biggest issue he is there fixing all my problems with the most welcoming attitude and sweetest patience, he has made my months living here so far feel so easy, safe and relaxing knowing he's always there for me and all the other residents. Anytime I see him he's constantly smiling and greeting everyone around him, I have noticed all the other residents are always talking to him as well, everyone loves Ben. He is heaven sent and makes this whole apartment complex feel stress free and overall like a actual home. I'm extremely thankful for Ben, I plan on renewing my lease in these next few months solely based on the outstanding service Ben has provided to me, thank you Ben for all that you do for this complex! read more

This place does not deserve the 4 star rating that it currently has. I moved out in October 2021 and we only got about $150 (give or take) back from our deposit. Don't lease from here! At first we enjoyed living here but with more capacity they haven't been able to keep up with maintaining the apartments. My niece had been over to go to the pool she stepped inside the sauna and she got cut because of broken glass in there. She bled in there and around the pool area (she got a pretty deep cut on her foot). When I notified the leasing office it seemed like they didn't care. They didn't even close to clean out the water since there was blood contamination in the water. The last couple of weeks we were there we got a package misplaced and it did not get returned (stolen) no help at all. Not the first time that this has happened gotten a few packages from Amazon stolen in the mail room. This was their response to letting them know "Thank you for the information but I highly recommend that you inform the police department as well. You can submit your police report online, this will be very helpful to Anaheim Police Department to see any trends and security needs in the city." There's a huge turnover rate for the staff and overall it's not managed well. Don't waste your time nor your money leasing here. It's not worth it! Also, when we first moved in they played down the construction across the street and they said should be done in a couple of month, jokes was on us that lasted most of the year. read more
