I was forced to leave that apartment as if I were being evicted. The management suddenly increased my rent without proper notice, and throughout my tenancy I experienced repeated discrimination. Despite everything I endured, they later accused me of "threatening the office staff" and issued an order banning me from entering the office, which was completely false and retaliatory. I moved out while dealing with serious health issues and after suffering many unfair and difficult situations caused by the management. After I relocated, they began charging me for every alleged "damage" from the past, even issues that were never mentioned while I lived there. Do not move into this here this APT!!!!!!!. The management here is a complete mess. There is dog waste everywhere because nothing is properly maintained. I have never once seen the pool or jacuzzi being cleaned -- the water is filthy. My fiancé and I have lived here for nearly 6 years, since it was the Jefferson. Everything was great initially. However, management has changed about three times, and the current management is the most careless and unprofessional they have been. I've experienced discrimination, especially from the manager, Crystal. I had my mail stolen and when I reported this to her, she didn't handle the situation appropriately and didn't seem helpful. My mail was missing for about four months until I discovered they had switched the mailbox and another person was receiving my mail. They did not take responsibility for their mistake. Additionally, packages have been stolen multiple times, even from the mail room; trash is often full and nobody seems to care about managing it properly; there is poop all over the sidewalks; the gym has had a broken disabled machine for months; and people have taken parking spots that aren't theirs. The Jacuzzi was constantly nig working. Overall, this place management is a mess, and it's so overpriced for what you get. read more

The neighbors in this apartment community are wonderful, but the management is absolutely terrible. The property is filthy, and the lack of maintenance has led to overwhelming odors throughout the building. Whenever issues arise, it's nearly impossible to reach the manager by phone. Even when I visit the office in person, the manager often refuses to come out or makes me wait for a long time without resolving anything.This is by far the worst apartment I've ever lived in. Packages are frequently lost, and even when I report it, the manager simply says they're already aware and makes no effort to help residents. It's unacceptable. read more

This apartment complex is extremely poorly managed. The staff are consistently unfriendly, and basic maintenance is not taken care of. Almost every night, there is some kind of construction noise happening secretly in the early morning hours, making it very difficult to sleep. The manager's office is almost always empty, and it's impossible to get help when you need it. There is also no guest parking available, which makes it very inconvenient for visitors. Worst leasing experience ever. The leasing office push you to apply for lease without giving all the information you need to know just so you pay for the application fees which are not refundable. Then after you apply they start bringing out surprises that if you knew about ahead of time you would not apply in the first place. They charge $35 for each applicant. read more

I feel mixed in my overall stay with Paramount Platinum Triangle. The neighbors are nice and wonderful people -- however the incompetency of the management front office and the lack of transparent communication makes things very difficult on that end. Pros: -Maintenance crew is on top of everything and quick -Front desk is nice. Cons: -Parking is a nightmare. Good luck having friends or family over. -Lack of transparency. I was looking to get guidance to upgrading my room from a 1 bedroom and got conflicting information from different employees. I was told I could upgrade mid-contract, in my 1b1b and I could purchase an extra parking spot, etc but turns out there were a lot of "gotcha's" in between that they didn't cover nor let me know about. (i.e. they had me pay more to have my fiancé signed on the lease so she could move in after we married. They said they could provide an additional parking space but after we signed her on and PAID, they told me we had to put her on a waiting list and indefinitely cannot accommodate us). Also they told me that I could upgrade mid-contract but I found out that wasn't possible. And that I was told I could use that security deposit I gave for my 1b1b could factor into the 2b when I upgrade down the road, which also, turned out to be false according to California law apparently. They later try to explain the gap but it comes off as a bait and switch, though I don't think that's their intention. -Communication is not consistent. I never get a call back from the front office when I go and make my inquiries. Sending an email perhaps may be best practice that I should've done more on so my end so I could get my responses in writing from above. They always take down my apartment number but never fulfill my inquiries. -Dog owners do not clean up after their dog's waste in the elevator nor the ground. May not be management's fault entirely to be fair but it is frustrating the lack of reinforcement This could be my lack of experience on working with apartments as a young fella. But overall, there are some good parts but it hasn't been the best experience. To be honest, until it got to needing to talk about the lease and all that, I would've given this place at least 4 stars. The constant backtracking and lack of consistent information and communication just really killed it all as I was given a false sense of expectations. I don't want to accuse them of lying but the alternative is incompetence, and I'm not sure which is better, when rent is already so expensive. read more

My first time updating a review and this is a warning to all of you! I want to give this place 0 stars. When I mentioned about the elevators being broken, I swear it is a horrible nighmare. This is not an exaggeration guys. Literally it broke for straight 5 weeks. They were giving us a run around about getting parts and some bs.. but I found out that the elevator company they use just sucks and management just didn't care about how tenants with young kids, senior tenants or tenants with disabilities who live on the higher floor. Took them that long to change the elevator company. They never compensated anyone for the inconvenience they caused with the excuse of "because of safety blah blah blah" or "we have stairs that can be utilized during this circumstance". Imagine when you move out and something is broken, they easily deduct it from your deposit. After the 5 weeks of no elevator.. even now and then, still elevator sucks. Very wonky and will definitely give you anxiety. For those of you looking to live in this apartment, I say run! It's not worth to pay $3k and get this much stress. read more

I have lived here for almost 2 years and couldn't be more pleased now! The property wasn't in the best condition upon moving in. But it seems there are new faces in the office and maintenance team, and they have been doing wonders at making improvements and fixing run-down items. I spoke to the service manager, Jason and getting the property in pristine condition seems to be his main concern, and the property shows! Everyone who works on the property, from the main office to all the maintenance employees, is professional, efficient, and friendly. We saw some bad reviews before moving in October 2019 and were worried... I just turned on my keys after 13 months of living here, and I definitely can say I liked living here!!! Apartment: Nice appliances, spacious and laundry in unit!!!! We have a dope view and i it felt so peaceful just sitting on the balcony! Con: yes there is poop on the sidewalks and in hallways Con: parking is truly a nightmare. It took a lot of planning and moving around of cars and carpooling whenever we wanted a visitor! And 100% don't count on the guest parking because it doesn't actually exist. Pro tip: The apartment across the street called core has some parking if you want to walk. Pro: the amenities, rooftop and pool were incredible. We watched Disney fireworks from the roof and had good bbq (pre-covid). I lived with two boys, and the amenities were a nice place to escape and go and watch a movie or go and sit by a fire pit when you didn't want to be annoyed.... there are so many spots to hang out at COVID TOOK THIS ALL AWAY BTW (even tho I heard someone giving a tour tell the people things were open) There was a comment about rude workers, and I def didn't encounter it. And the guy Andrew in the office was top notch customer service!!!! Maintenance was quick and efficient, although we only really had to call them three times.... This place is great! If you're not trying to be snooty and complain about everything. They even do once a month activities. There was a Halloween party last year, a Super Bowl party this year, a breakfast, a wine and dessert. They had a brewery come. It's cool. And they even did it during Covid too! Pre covid there were a ton of parties and air b n b people going to Disney.... but instead of it thinking of it like it was ruining the vibe, it actually made me feel cool like I was living at a resort or something... Terrible place to live!!! I moved here in 2020 of course we were in lock down during this time so the first 2 years were okay. The building has gone down so badly. The elevators are constantly down, mostly every gate to enter the building is broken. The parking garage gate has been broken over a year. When you ask when will it be fixed they state "they're working on it" (it's been over year) several residents hd their cars vandalized and broken into. Including me. The car theft and vandlizism has become a trend and continues to happen. The management company fails to keep a safe secure community for the resident however, they keep increasing the rent. I told the leasing agent (Cody) the rent should not increase if the quality of the building isn't being kept up. He responds and say "Your rent only covers inside your unit" excuse me Sir? So basically, the safety of the building doesn't count? They claim there are security officers between 10pm-8pm yet my car was vandalized and almost stolen. I've never seen a security guard since living here yet they advertise all these amenities and false sense of safety to get folks moved in. Also, there are several Airbnb operating here. The neighbors above me kept up constant noise therefore, every other night I had to call the dispatch to address the noise. I did my own investigation and found out the place was listed on Airbnb. Not only are the gates broken & cars being vandalized now we have to worry about random strangers living among us which is also another safety concern. I placed a ring camera on my door because there is always strange people walking the hallway late nights/early mornings. This place isn't worth the money they're charging nor the extra money you will pay out your pocket for damages. Also, They were suppose to replace the floors in my unit because several titles are broken causing white dust to form all over the floor. They told me scheduled a date however, I have to pay someone to move my furniture out and pay get a storage unit while the floors are being replaced. Why am I incurring a cost because you didn't use proper tile for the floors. I asked the management for alternative solutions and I was told to move my furniture to my bedroom and patio. How is that even possible it will not fit. They didn't even offer me a onsite Temporary storage room at the building to hold my things for a few hour. SMDH! This building is trash. read more

I've lived here for about 7 months now and I find that it's now a good time to review how poor of a complex this is. The staff is unresponsive and their front desk actually doesn't know any better. When I first toured the complex, I was greeted by a man who had promised our parking spots would be in the same building as our unit, amazing amenities, etc. Well when I signed, I was told that man no longer worked here because of all the lies he's been telling residents. Such as my parking isn't in the same building I live in, it's actually at the South Building and it isn't even in a garage as promised. In the same row where my car has parked, I have seen two other break ins. It's been over a month and the North Building mailboxes have still not been fixed. So we were instructed to pick up our packages at USPS. This USPS doesn't even share the same postal code as us and there are a few that are closer in distance but we have to go all the way to Euclid for our mail. This doesn't favor the working people that have to work a 9-5. Does the apartment do or know anything about it? No because they just revert to us asking USPS. This building is rent restricted, meaning you have to make up to X amount in order to qualify as a resident. Pros and cons to it. Upon move in, I asked for proof of water filters being replaced and they were not able to provide with such info. Well 6 months into us living here I requested it to be changed as one would do through a maintenance order but because it hasn't been a year it is the tenants responsibility to change it? Also upon move in, there was a dent found outside of my window that faces the street. The screen door was bent as if it was an attempted break in. I did submit it to the maintenance department but did they fix it... no they just looked at it. I work at 4am so I walk to my car very early. I sometimes see security and sometimes she's nice enough to walk my way so I know i'm not alone. I've seen a lot of reviews of stolen packages, but I (knock on wood) haven't experienced that. The location is great, don't get me wrong. But maybe skip this complex. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE - Will bill you for random charges after your move out and find ways to not return your security deposit! After I moved out, I was sent two invoices: - Cleaning fee of $140 - Painting fee of $50 The invoice they send you just has the fee and doesn't specify what they needed to clean nor paint. I asked for more details, and they sent me a bunch of pictures of my studio, but did not want to specify which picture indicates what needed to be cleaned or re-painted. I've been going back and forth with them for several weeks. I get this very generic response of saying the fee is the fee. I've lived here for years and it's done downhill fast! They are not taking care of the place at all, and when you call to bring up issues, they say they are working on it but nothing gets done! The elevator has been broken because mostly likely they never did the maintenance since the permits in the elevators were expired and than got taken down completely. I've spoken to manger several times, and still no follow up or update on any of the issues. It's so unacceptable, we don't even see anyone working on the elevators as the office claims that they are! There's a sweet lady in a walker that said she has to stay somewhere else because she can't make it up the stairs!!! This is unacceptable! The pool is dirty, weird people who do not live here always praying, leaving minors alone in the pools at all hours of the night. Loud crazy parties in the clubhouse, with open containers. People parking in your spot or blocking your parking spot. The jacuzzi is set on boil, and I've called and emailed, and I am treated rudely and ignored! How is it legal to set the jacuzzi to 109 degrees??!! Also Maintenace is so poor, constantly the gates are broke, homeless people wonder onto the property. There is a security, who just sits there and does nothing. And not to mention all your packages get stolen! I recently moved out after three years of living here. All in all it was a good experience and I don't really have any major complaints. I'll go over a few good things and a few not so good things. The Good: Prices are very very reasonable in comparison to the area. The caveat is that you have to qualify based on income level and, many folks will often make more. The grounds are kept on pretty good shape considering the size. Some folks are jerks and let their dogs crap wherever they want, but it's mostly a non-issue. The cleaning folks are always pleasant and keeping things nice. Maintenance is always answering calls quickly and generally takes care of things right away. I had a couple of small issues that were usually fixed within a day. The amenities on the grounds are nice. Very rarely crowded. Little events and food trucks were a nice touch. During the peak of Covid, they came by and left some candy and a voucher for a free movie rental at all doors. My two locations were always pretty quiet and we never had an issue with noise from neighbors. Everyone's experience will vary though. The Not So Good: Parking. It's been covered in every review here. It's awful. A dozen or so guest spots for 400+ units? One bedrooms get one spot so if you're married, hope only one of you drives. I was on a waiting list for over a year trying to get another parking spot before we moved to a 2bdrm. Difficult for friends or family to visit however. Packages get stolen too often. I had three different packages taken around new years last year. Packages from fed ex often never show up. No idea why this only seems to happen with them, but it got to the point where I just asked places I purchased from to send in another fashion. Not specific to the complex directly but, my first unit was in the north building looking towards Disneyland (and the fireworks). There's a bread distribution warehouse directly behind there. From about 3-5 am every weekday, trucks are loading up and you'll be woken by their doors slamming and the constant back-up beeping. You'll get used to it after a few weeks, but be aware. They also drop off their vehicles on Saturday morning so you'll hear them around 10am for a few hours then too. Lastly, the water pressure and heat for the kitchen sink in my last unit (N202) was pretty bad. The water only ever got lukewarm and it always seemed to be at half power. We were told by maintenance that it's because of the pipes in that building. Not sure if there's truth to that, but it never got addressed/fixed. Overall it was a good complex though with really only mildly irritating things. The only reason we left is because we needed more room for our things and a child on the way. Never any bug issues. Nothing related to noise or disturbances. I recommend it if the situation sounds doable. read more

This place has the needs of a basic apartment. The big perks and pros are: washer and dryer in unit, Cody and Quentin in the leasing office are awesome, they get work orders done pretty fast (we've had a few appliances break but they fixed it that day or next). The main cons: the garbage room smell will go down the halls. People don't pick up after their dog (poop around the landscaping or pee in the elevator) to be fair they provide baggies, there just isn't much done to reprimand people who are lazy and disgusting. You aren't close to any grocery store (nothing is walkable except McDonald's, Brewheim, Starbucks, Cookie plug, and other really unhealthy expensive options). The gyms are very half-a$$ed. Only one gym has free weights, and the other is just a pulley and a weird treadmill. It feels like this was free stuff from past residents or from older apartments who got new equipment. Put in a squat rack at least. The worst part is that there are only SEVEN guest spots for hundreds of units. There isn't even a nearby street that isn't full or where you won't get towed nearby. People will also leave their cars parked on the street for a month just to store it. Just sell your car at that point. I wish they could contract with the other Apartments nearby and instead of building more apartments, building a huge central parking structure with cameras and security. Oh, the Gates break a lot here. There is one where it never closes, and some door locks are broken to exit. Another huge con is the inaccesiblity of package delivering. For amazon truck drivers they get a fob from the front office (during business hours) and put the packages in the package room (they still get stolen even with a camera in there), but other companies or independent Amazon drivers can't get into the building and there's no door with a code to enter the building or even an Amazon package station. I wish they could install one by the pool or mailboxes or something. It's been almost 3 weeks (june 5th) that the elevators have been broken. It's annoying that when they did work, the permits were expired or not even displayed. A lot of people have pets and kids, and I know a lot of us in the community buy in bulk and use our roller carts for groceries. It's been hell not having an elevator. I have asthma, and I shouldn't have to use my inhaler to get into my apartment on the 3rd floor after taking my dog for a quick pee. A few of my neighbors struggle getting up the stairs as they're older or carrying a baby and groceries. It's pretty frustrating. There needs to be more transparency and communication from management. I know they just changed property managers, and while I don't think a lot of issues are on them 100%, they need to hound Greystar because the price here is not cheap. No where is cheap right now, groceries and gas are expensive, and little things like fire pits not working, TV and other amenities not working, and a broken elevator really add on to the suckiness. At first, I wasn't too upset but I've been here 2 years and the decline was very fast. Also, there are random people using the pool all the time, and they leave their trash and mess. They also take resident spots, and there are already so few spots for residents. It's just been getting worse, and the icing on the cake was the elevator. The broken gates are also disappointing because people keep stealing, vandalizing, and come in and use things like the pool or other amenities. I wouldn't say i feel safe here at night without my boyfriend, which is disappointing. We're a pretty tight-knit community here, and we all talk, and we're all upset. For the expensive price, I expect more. read more

Am in the market for a new apartment and I have a friend who lives here and so I checked out the place to see if it would be a good option. In short ... it needs some work for things that would be very annoying on a daily basis, especially for the price and 2022 year we live in. and my friend who lives here, she agrees. It's not a horrible property but definitely it needs some touch ups to be at the top of someones list. The bad/needs work: - first thing is I noticed this has to be one of the very few places I have toured that doesn't have keyless entry into the apartments. Literally pretty standard now. Hah. - the walls and things in the garage elevator entry in the building in the back of the property (farthest from Katella) is pretty gross. Peeling paints, flimsy elevator controls, gross smells etc. it's like the neglected step child elevator of the building hahah. (Only used two of the elevators as friend lives in that building) - amenities are in need of replacement or repair. Lots of stains and or broken furniture. Especially rooftop. Also they show pictures of like a coffee bar or cold brew on tap on their website and they definitely don't offer that. That would be a cool thing to bring back, as I think the neighboring property has it for their residents. The good things: - location is cool. - the outside of the property looks good and the units interiors are modern and nice with good appliances, just not smart home features. - monthly resident events like movies and free treats or food are pretty cool. - Two fitness centers (but one could use upgrades but still usable) - two pools and two hot tubs to spread out among the residents. - Greystar Managed, so a big company running this place is useful. Overall, 2/5 stars for now. It definitely has room for improvement in the small things that you'd notice after living here everyday. But maybe they take these under advisement who knows. read more

I am a current resident in a one bedroom apartment here and I absolutely love it! I unfortunately had to put my 30 days notice because I needed an extra bedroom. I was hoping to find a two bedroom apartment here close to my move out date and was only able to find one that would be available a month after my move out date. QUINTIN in the leasing office was able to find a two bedroom unit for me that was on my move out date!! Don't waste your time/money applying there. They won't approve you no matter how much money you make! They will basically scam you and take your application money!! They would tell you that we are a part of a city program and there is a minimum and a maximum income threshold for you to get approved, but they will never disclose the numbers with you! My rejection reason was because "I make above the maximum income threshold" even if I make slightly over average income. My friend's rejection was because "He makes BELOW minimum income threshold" and he actually makes good money. DO NOT RENT HERE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Most of the positive reviews on here are from a raffle drawing to win free rent. Here are the Pros and Cons of living here: PROS: Beautiful buildings, modern decor, nice apartments, fun community events, cool rooftop, nice clubhouses, pools, and gyms. CONS: No parking, dog poop everywhere, community is not consistently clean, barely any security, cars getting broken into, expensive rent, terrible management and staff follow-up, and some of the units are rented out thru Airbnb. Also, when you move out, don't expect to get your deposit back. We kept our apartment in excellent condition and we were still dinged. If you decide to ignore all of the bad reviews and still end up renting an apartment here, make sure to review the pricing in the lease agreement very carefully (application fees, security deposit, pet deposit, monthly rent). I've lived here over 4 years. My cars have been broken into twice and one was stolen. all from assigned parking spots which cost $115 extra a month. Mailboxes get broken into and remain open for weeks and neighbors are constantly unable to receive basic services like mail. There are no security cameras overlooking resident cars despite unauthorized people walking within the premises at late hours of the night. There is only one security guard per Night Shift for two large buildings about the size of the whole block. There is always suspicious people lurking around in the AM. I don't recommend living here at all. The only feedback the office ever gives is to release their liability, say they understand but there is nothing they can do. read more
